Het Europese migratiepact is vanaf morgen van kracht. Daar wordt al maanden op voorbeschouwd, maar het zal nu voor het eerst duidelijk worden hoe dat uitpakt. "Je hebt het migratiepact en wij doen het nog strenger in Nederland, wat de erfenis is van minister Faber", valt presentator Nadia Moussaid op. "Wat meer benadrukt moet worden, is dat hoeveel mensen hier komen niet te maken heeft met het beleid dat wij maken." Volgens Ömer Tuzkapan, journalist bij NRC, is de hoop dat dit migratiepact het "gouden ei" is, maar moeten veel kwesties nog "aangestipt" worden.

Our guest is Dr. Cassandra Jane Werking, a December 2024 research fellow at the Kentucky Historical Society. Dr. Werking is from East Greenbush, New York, and graduated with a PhD in history from the University of Kentucky in May 2025. Toon Verlaak van vzw Ovenbuur, de Kauliller Molenvrienden en Molennetwerk KempenbroekAl van kleins af aan is Toon Verlaak uit Kaulille gefascineerd door de verhalen achter lokale molens en het molenambacht.
