Today we will be talking with Pat Reidy, Vice-President of Mission and Faith at JSerra High School in Orange County, CA about discipleship in the lives of our Catholic School Students. In Luke 6:40, Jesus talks about discipleship, saying, “A disciple who is fully taught will be like his teacher.” So, forming disciples is about communicating likeness - being like Jesus, which can happen to students in class, community life, small groups and through extra-curricular activities. Pat will also share their experiences with RCIA in a school setting.

This is it guys! The first ever "Hold Up a Sec" podcast and we get right into it with a a subject that, to this day, gets sci-fi fans and nerds of all walks of life up in arms. Does Han really shoot first or is that what our nostalgia wants us to see? (Ok seriously though we all know he shoots first, we see what you're doing Lucas!) What does it mean to have Han shoot first? Does it change his character at all or are we just reading too much into this? Perhaps the latter but in any case it makes for some awesome discussion. Joining us on this episode is none other than Pat Reidy as we record in an echo-y kitchen in Queens. It's fun we promise.
Long time X-Files fans Walt Frasier and Laurice Fattal are joined by fellow improv comedian and baby-phile new comer Pat Reidy. We talk about what's considered PC today in modern tv series vs what was acceptable in the 90s. We also talk about Mulder's magic mushroom trip along with his epic dance moves, badonkadonk, and Tom Waits.
