Just as the disciples navigated a lot of change during the time of Jesus' resurrection and ascension, so too the church has been experiencing a lot of change. Change even under the best of circumstances can be really difficult. Even though they didn't fully understand what was to come the disciples they still gathered together, prayed together and waited on the Holy Spirit. Sometimes that is the best thing that we can do!

Assistant Jen Hunkovic Tuesday Bible Study Of Acts 1:1-26
We have learned that Luke was the author of the book of Acts. Jesus was sent to minister to the people of the world. The 11 apostles are the only ones to have received the blessing of the Holy Spirit on two different occasions. They were selected for a purpose, to be the authority for the New Testament Church. God still has times and seasons that He is in charge of. While we may still wonder, we have no cause to worry ... though we do. In two important ways, this scripture (Acts 1:8) is fulfilled. Where ever you may be, that is Jerusalem, it's your home. Are you watching? You should be but you should also be staying busy in the works of the kingdom. We have a wonderful world we're living in too. In order for one to be an apostle, they have to be a physical witness to the risen Jesus Christ.

Wildfire: A Series on Acts - Do you have an "I-was-there-when..." story? The Book of Acts is a series of "I-was-there-when..." stories about the move of God in the early Church that spread like wildfire. Wouldn't it be amazing to see God move like that today? To do it, He is preparing us as the kindling of His wildfire. Pastor Chris Kipp teaches from Acts 1 and challenges us to return to the fundamentals of following Jesus.
