Greig encouraged the church to listen to God's voice during seasons of storms. Life's storms often represent seasons of opposition, but they never derail God's purpose. While storms bring battles and amplify the noise around us, the great Shepherd's quiet voice stil says “peace be still.” God uses every storm to redirect us, deepen our faith, and accomplish His eternal purposes through Christ,.

A highly coveted prospect out of Nease High School (Ponte Vedra, FL), Stevens eventually committed to the Knights in large part to his relationship with head coach Gus Malzahn and tight end coach Brian Blackmon. In his three years in the program, Stevens went through a lot of change, including three different coordinators, multiple quarterbacks, and a verbiage-heavy offensive playbook. However, just as Stevens felt he was making strides and putting himself in a position to play, a freak accident derailed his season and ultimately put his future health in jeopardy. Through it all, Stevens leaned on his coaches and teammates as he tried to work himself back to the form he once knew. #ucfknights #ucf #ucffootball Learn more about your ad choices. Framed around the Emmaus Road story in Luke 24—where the risen Jesus walks and talks with two discouraged disciples—Greig shows how God speaks through both His Word (Scripture, prayer, prophecy, and Jesus Himself ) and His Whisper (dreams, community, creation, culture, and the still small voice). Blending evangelical, charismatic, and contemplative traditions (including lectio divina), the book equips “normal people” with honest wisdom, personal stories, and tools to discern God's voice amid life's noise, turning monologue prayers into genuine dialogue. [N.B. Pete is a little more charismatic than I am but in a healthy way.]But you, dear friends, carefully build yourselves upin this most holy faith by praying in the Holy Spirit, staying right at the center of God's love, keeping your arms open and outstretched, ready for the mercy of our Master, Jesus Christ. This is the unending life, the real life! The Message The Most Important Verses of JudeVerses 17-23 are the most important in the letter of Jude. It is herethat Jude spells out just how he wants his readers to pursue the purposefor which he has written the letter: that they “contend for the faith once for all, and trusted tothe saints” (v.3). Jude specifies three things that his readers need to do: remember the apostolicwarnings about the heretics (vv. 17-19); Secure their own faith (vv. 20-21); and reach out torescue people in danger (vv.22-23). His exhortation is as relevant today as it was 2000 years ago. A shakeup in the auto industry across the ditch could see Peugeots disappear from the New Zealand market. Their Australian importer, Inchcape, will stop selling the brand from 2027 after sales plunged 87% from their 2005 peak. The move comes as pressure from Chinese brands mounts – with more than 220,000 sales in 2025 alone. Imported Motor Vehicle Industry Association CEO Greig Epps told Mike Hosking there's commonality across distributers and businesses on both the New Zealand and Australian side of things. And, he says, we're aligning ourselves with Australia in terms of our regulatory settings, which will make the market commonplace across both countries. A highly recruited defensive player out of Miami, Charlton flipped to UCF late in the recruiting cycle thanks to former defensive coordinator Randy Shannon. As soon as Charlton got on campus, he made an immediate impact, ultimately playing in every game during his true freshman season. However, the play he is most remembered for that year was an errant penalty against LSU in the Fiesta Bowl. Charlton went on to have a productive season for the Knights in 2019 under the tutelage of coach Shane Burnham. Unfortunately, the COVID season of 2020 got off to a rough start for the Knights on the field, as they lost close games to Tulsa and Memphis. Off the field, Charlton and several other teammates were involved in an incident with campus police, which ultimately led to his dismissal from the program. Charlton wound up at Mississippi State, where he finished his college career for the Bulldogs under legendary head coach Mike Leach. In the years since, Charlton has continued to pursue his dream of playing football, which has seen him make stops in the NFL, CFL, IFL, and UFL. Today, Charlton is still actively training while he waits for another opportunity to crack an NFL roster. #ucfknights #ucf #ucffootball Learn more about your ad choices.
