This is Part 2 of my interview with the Gentle Giant of Detroit Stand Up Comedy, Mr Cam Rowe. My good buddy Ron Rigby also came alone for the ride adding a little of "Rigby" to the conversation. Not only did we talk about Stand Up and trying to get properly paid but I confessed to doing a little Draft Dodging back in the early 70s. Don't hate me until you hear my side of the story.Enjoy RODECASTER PRO https://amzn.to/34uaOOtACORN KAMADO GRILL https://amzn.to/3fNN6lEI'M MUNE T-SHIRT http://bit.ly/talks2much Support the show (https://www.patreon.com/user?u=30945237&fan_landing=true)Support the show (https://www.patreon.com/user?u=30945237&fan_landing=true)
This is Part 3 and the final Episode with my good friend Sal Demilio. For anyone who is interested in getting into Stand Up his years of experience can be pretty helpful. We also talk a little about the the current social climate and it's effect on Stand Up. It looks like stand-up comedy is returning, even in a smaller, socially-distanced way, and Joel talks to the formerly retired comedian Ted Moss about what’s about to happen. Joel tells you about The Comedy Castle’s new procedures for the November re-opening and is proud to announce the return of the Advanced Comedy Class! Ted has…
Podcaster and (retired) comedian Ted Moss, returns to the studio to tell Joel about how lockdown has been treating him and not unlike Joel it’s been challenging. Both guys talk renovating their kitchen with limited funds and Ted’s clever scheme that may or may not work. Joel bemoans the government’s response to comedy clubs closing,…

Idea: Boarding houses to provide around-the-clock care to babies until they're around 2.5 years old (and potty trained). Also: accidentally creepy parenting book titles, Puritanical diaper penance, is all postpartum depression hormonal or does changing diapers and not sleeping just suck, the biggest jobs program for uneducated people of all time, giving unprepared parents time (3 years) to get their life on track before they have to be parents Originally from Creativity Wasted episode 23 Dustin "Lee" Tom Walma (twitter.com/thomaswalma) Ted Moss (twitter.com/TedMossComedy Podcast: https://TEDTALKS2much.com Book: "Look Out...I'm Parenting Here! This week we are joined by Ted Moss who hosts the Ted Talks 2 Much podcast. Ted is a hilarious guy with a breadth of experiences including but not limited to owning a business, doing stand up comedy, helping coach his daughter to be a nationally ranked collegiate golfer, and writing a book. Ted and I talk about a range of topics from comedy to politics. While politics is not typically a large subject on The Walkshow, I think it is useful to hear perspectives that are different from my own. Ted is a perfect example of somebody with nuanced views that make labeling a useless practice as he doesn't fit neatly into one bucket. Music by Misha Zarins. Another week in lockdown has Joel calling up his friends. He starts with Ted Moss, who isn’t buying into all the stay at home restrictions and just wants to paint his house, or go out on a boat or whatever else they tell him he can’t do. Ted has also returned from a big podcasting…
Idea: A device (the "honky") that makes different car horn sounds to communicate different things, like "look out", "excuse me", "screw you", or "my bad". Also, maybe configurable text on the front/rear or your car that says "move over" Originally from Creativity Wasted episode 6 Amy Probst (instagram.com/amydetroitrockcity) Ted Moss (twitter.com/TedMossComedy Podcast: https://TEDTALKS2much.com) Anthony Slanda (twitter.com/Runfromcheney) Tom Walma (twitter.com/thomaswalma)
Idea: All roads/driveways/parking should be elevated, to allow animals to roam free, and for people to live in harmony with nature on the ground. Although it might ruin the fun of rollercoasters Originally from Creativity Wasted episode 6 Amy Probst (instagram.com/amydetroitrockcity) Ted Moss (twitter.com/TedMossComedy Podcast: https://TEDTALKS2much.com) Anthony Slanda (twitter.com/Runfromcheney) Tom Walma (twitter.com/thomaswalma) Recorded at Laff Tracks comedy club
Idea (NSFW): A golf course filled with nature that looks like human anatomy (cactuses that looks like dicks, trees with lumps that look like butts, sand dunes shaped like the female body, etc.). The caddies would use a bunch of silly adult golf puns ("if you hook your shaft you could get lost in the bush", "there's a ball washer available after you complete the back 9", etc.) Originally from Creativity Wasted episode 6 Amy Probst (instagram.com/amydetroitrockcity) Ted Moss (twitter.com/TedMossComedy Podcast: https://TEDTALKS2much.com) Anthony Slanda (twitter.com/Runfromcheney) Tom Walma (twitter.com/thomaswalma)
Idea: A sitcom about a mechanic, featuring all of the weird things about being a mechanic in a car dealership, such as people leaving weird things in their car (guns, soiled undies, drugs, etc.), people's dumb failed attempts to fix their own cars, and how it's somehow still allowed for them to display pictures of nude women in the workspace Originally from Creativity Wasted episode 6 Amy Probst (instagram.com/amydetroitrockcity) Ted Moss (twitter.com/TedMossComedy Podcast: https://TEDTALKS2much.com) Anthony Slanda (twitter.com/Runfromcheney) Tom Walma (twitter.com/thomaswalma)
Idea: A spray that masks the smell of farts. Or maybe a pill containing electronics which detect whether smell-cancelling chemicals need to be released while it passes through your body. Also: fart-filtering underwear, the professional fart performer (flatulist) at the Moulin Rouge Originally from Creativity Wasted episode 1 Ted Moss (twitter.com/TedMossComedy Podcast: https://TEDTALKS2much.com) Josh Bowab Tom Walma (twitter.com/thomaswalma) Recorded at Joey's Comedy Club
Idea: An atheist holiday named "Hole-y Day" where you put a hole in your yard, such as a giant tire, to signify both the vast emptiness of the universe and your desire to participate in a Holey Day free love session with someone you've never been with. Also involves throwing things into holes, monkeys, and a symbolic deity who wears yoga pants. My good friend Mark Bonto and not only a Native, but also current resident of my hometown of Flint Michigan stops by to share a few thoughts about our city and our childhood growing up here. He was good enough to play a game of "Just the Facts" where we learned a little about the city and the fun fact that MICHAEL MOORE did not grow up or ever live in Flint! Mark also gives me dating advice...which I will NOT be taking. But I appreciate the attempt.Enjoy!Support the show (https://www.patreon.com/user?u=30945237&fan_landing=true)
Idea: A single-person electric car/vehicle that's skinny enough to drive through a door into a house or building (so you no longer need a garage, and you can go fast down hallways at work). It can orient itself both horizontally like a motorcycle and vertically like a Segway, and travel up and down elevator shafts instead of using elevators. Also, the privacy of having your own transportation vehicle is important, because at least one day of your life you'll probably shart your pants, and you don't want to prolong your humiliation by taking public transportation back to your house Originally from Creativity Wasted episode 1 Ted Moss (twitter.com/TedMossComedy Podcast: https://TEDTALKS2much.com) Josh Bowab Tom Walma (twitter.com/thomaswalma) Recorded at Joey's Comedy Club
Welcome to PART 2 of my interview with my friendly friend who just seems to want to interview me! Well what the heck, I'm game and I sure like to talk... so let's do this. It's really just a couple of Old White Men discussing things we probably know very little about, but its fun for us. Hope you like it too. Enjoy! A lot of ground is covered on this show, as Ted Moss returns to re-cap the Oscars with Joel and talk about his own podcast. Joel discusses which Oscar picks he got wrong and (mostly) right, and why Parasite really deserved to win. The guys also discuss podcast audio quality, toilet paper budgets, travel nightmares,…
Idea: A bracelet (or a hologram of a bracelet projected by a smart watch) which, when you shake someone's hand, (optionally) shows them your personality quiz results, and (mandatory, by law) shows them your criminal record. That way, when you meet new people, they instantly know if you're a good person or a bad person Originally from Creativity Wasted episode 72 Alwin Sheriff (Twitter: @AlwinTheSheriff YouTube: @jerk4eternity) Ted Moss (Twitter: @TedMossComedy) Justin Siekierka (Facebook: @justin.siekierka) Tom Walma (Twitter: @thomaswalma) Recorded at Podcast Detroit

Comedian Ted Moss returns, although it’s best to describe him as artist Ted Moss for the purposes of this show. Ted painted a portrait of his comedy buddies, including Joel, and while it doesn’t suck, Joel has some questions. Why are there no faces? Why is Joel on a box? It’s an odd thing to…
On this episode of Creativity Wasted, comedian Amy Probst explains her idea for an animal-friendly elevated road system, comedian Ted Moss wants customized car horns, comedian Anthony Slanda pitches a sitcom based on his life as an auto mechanic, and I want to design a golf course based on funny Internet pictures of trees and rocks and sand dunes that look like people in erotic poses or having sex. Comedian David Otis Van also appears.
On this episode, I talk about my concept for the ideal car of the future, comedian Ted Moss proposes an X-rated atheistic holiday called Holey Day, and comedian Josh Bowab explains his idea for a fart deodorizing spray that he confusingly calls Gas Mask Creativity Wasted is a podcast where a group of creative people get together, and we each share an idea that we're not planning on pursuing in real life, such as an invention idea that's outside our area of expertise, a futuristic sci-fi movie idea, or an evil prank idea. And rather than just letting the idea quietly slip away, we get some fun out of it by joking about it together.
