Welcome to "Thriving in Midlife" The Women's Guide to Wellness, Longevity & Hormones After 40. This is your trusted space to cut through the noise, ditch the overwhelm, and finally feel extraordinary in your body, mind, and life. Are you who are ready to stop pushing through life and start living it with intention, energy, and ease? Then let's get started. I'm your host, Kellie Lupsha, a high-performance health coach, who is delighted to be your guide to vitality. In this episode, I share something deeply personal that I am walking through right now. We have talked a lot about energy, performance, and wellness but today I open up about a different layer of transformation. I explore how meditation is not just about relaxing or calming down, but about intentionally becoming someone new. I take you behind the scenes of what I am practicing in my own life and how this work is reshaping the way I think about healing, identity, and possibility.Key Highlights:➡️ Why meditation isn't just about calming down, but rather a deliberate act of installing a new personality to change your personal reality.➡️ How moving from high beta survival states into alpha and theta waves opens the door for rewiring and creation.➡️ The powerful concept that current circumstances cannot change without a shift in personality.➡️ Why visualization alone is insufficient and why one must feel the emotions of gratitude before evidence appears.➡️ How the body memorizes past states and the necessity of breaking addiction to old emotional patterns to find safety.➡️ The importance of consistency is highlighted, specifically rehearsing a new identity morning and night to compound changes.➡️ The specific framework involving induction, dissolving the old self, and installing the new self for measurable change.Key Takeaways:"Meditation is the deliberate act of installing a new personality. And personality equals personal reality." -Kellie Lupsha“Meditation is where knowledge becomes biology... You're not thinking your way into change. You're installing it." -Kellie Lupsha*TAKE THE FREE ~ DISCOVER YOUR MIDLIFE HEALTH BLUEPRINT*****>>> Click Here
It's Friday, which means 5-Star Movie Reviews with Andy Peth, joined by Luke Cashman and Ashly Carter — and this hour did not disappoint. At 11:07, Andy dives into K-Pops, starring Anderson .Paak. Is it a heartfelt father-son redemption story wrapped in vibrant K-pop spectacle… or an overlong vanity project? Andy praises the chemistry, cultural fusion, and music, but ultimately says weak writing and poor editing sink it. His verdict? Quality: 1½ stars | Political: 3 | Moral/Religious: 3. Would you spend your money on it — or stream something else? Then at 27:35, it's Scream 7. Can Neve Campbell's return as Sidney Prescott revive the franchise? Andy likes the aging “final girl” angle and the warning about AI deception — but says the second half collapses with laughable reveals and unrealistic kills. Final score: Quality: 1 star | Political: 3½ | Moral/Religious: 3. Is this horror sequel suspenseful… or unintentionally hilarious? If you love sharp takes, bold ratings, and zero sugarcoating, Andy Peth brings it. Want to know which film he says is actually worth your time? You'll have to listen. HOUR 2 Guest host Andy Peth, joined by Luke Cashman and Ashly Carter, turns Hour 2 into a fast-paced, laugh-out-loud showdown: movies with one-word titles. Sounds simple? Think again. From Taken and the debate over whether “fun” equals “good,” to rapid-fire classics like Casablanca, Jaws, Gladiator, Parasite, Titanic, Psycho, and Hereditary, the crew blends nostalgia, trivia, and sharp cultural commentary. Which trilogy would you binge back-to-back—Star Wars, Avatar, The Matrix, Nolan's Batman? And what makes a single word—Alien, Rebecca, Deliverance, Mulan, Ghostbusters—so powerful it defines a generation? Callers jump in with deep cuts and curveballs (Zardoz, Rollerball, Sharknado), while the hosts trade iconic quotes and debate horror films that are “tough watches.” Is Aliens better than Alien? Did Jaws change human behavior forever? And which movie moment still gives you chills? It's part trivia battle, part film school, part comedy roast—proving that sometimes one word is all you need.

Ben and Rob crack open the lab and fire up the lightning rods for their trip into Frankenstein, the long-gestating passion project from Guillermo del Toro, and things get stitched together fast. Before they even get near the operating table, the pair dig back to the source, Frankenstein by Mary Shelley, unpacking the Creature's original, deeply human motivation and how often adaptations miss the tragic point entirely. From there, Rob unveils a chaotic brand-new segment (almost definitely probably returning… maybe) in a heroic attempt to keep the episode on the rails, before the conversation lurches through cinema history: from the shadow of Boris Karloff's silver-screen monster in Frankenstein, to how that imagery still crackles through del Toro's gothic sensibilities. The boys also can't help noticing eerie déjà vu, debating why parts of this version feel like a near carbon copy of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein directed by Kenneth Branagh, and whether homage, coincidence, or mad-science recycling is to blame.Along the way, they detour into one of the wildest behind-the-scenes stories in Hollywood; how James Cameron reportedly helped Guillermo to save del Toro's kidnapped father and how that real-life horror shaped the filmmaker's lifelong obsession with monsters, loss, and empathy. It's bolts, brains, and big feelings as Ben and Rob ask what still shocks, what feels stitched together from past versions, what makes this Creature tick in 2025… and, as always, beneath the thunder, tragedy, and tortured men of science… what does Frankenstein really mean?CONSUUUME to find out all this and much, much more!PLUS! In That 70s Episode, Marco and Amanda drift into a calm, nostalgic conversation inspired by the sights, sounds, and rhythms of the 1970s.The episode begins with soothing thoughts on organizing — the quiet satisfaction of putting things in order — before moving into memories of the board game Masterpiece. From there, the conversation wanders through the kinds of characters you'd expect to see on 1970s television, familiar, comforting, and slightly eccentric in the best way.Music also makes a gentle appearance, with reflections on Helen Reddy and Mel Tormé, adding another layer of warmth and nostalgia to the episode. As always, the conversation is unhurried and softly spoken — designed to help you relax, unwind, and hopefully fall asleep.Ad-Free ListeningYou can enjoy ad-free episodes of The Insomnia Project by visiting:
