47 Minutes Safe for Work Wally Conger is an author and Agorist who has worked in "liberty circles" since 1970. Wally used unpublished works of Samuel Edward Konkin III to put together the treatise, "Agorist Class Theory," in which he makes a devastating critique of Marxian Class Theory correcting it with a simple explanation from a classic libertarian perspective. Class theory can seem like a dirty word to libertarians. In this episode, we examine four readings in order to derive an Agorist Class Theory. John C. Calhoun's Disquisition on Government provides the first brick in the foundation of the theory. In chapter 14 of Space Capitalism, Walter Block & Peter Nelson critique Calhoun's interpretation & offer a competing version. That view, is perhaps best summed up by Murray Rothbard in his article, The Case for Revisionism. Finally, a graduated synthesis is provided by Wally Conger's booklet, Agorist Class Theory.
Our first live show! It’s the Bootmakers of Toronto story meeting for The Stockbroker’s Clerk. Saturday February 24th 2018 at the Toronto Reference Library (Beeton Auditorium), 1pm. In this episode of Liberty Under Attack Radio, I’m joined by libertarian community old hand, Wally Conger. We start by going through his history within libertarianism, the bustling community in Los Angeles from the 1960s-1990s, his “friendship” with Samuel Konkin, Agorist Class Theory, and both wonder how political crusading libertarians haven’t learned their damn lesson […] The post “Konkin Was More Rothbardian Than Rothbard” with Wally Conger (LUA Podcast #40) appeared first on Liberty Under Attack.
Bureaucrats in government, as members of the parasitical class, always try to get "their cut" from businesses Those in government shouldn't be welcomed onto private property Question for terrocrats (terrorist bureaucrats): Other than the threat of physical violence, what is the reason for our relationship? Another question for terrocrats: Other than your flag and pretended legitimacy, how are you any different than the mafia? Government and statist media promote various 'scares of the day' to control people There are two kinds of people in the world: those who want to live in peace, trade, and not be bothered, and those who don't Why do those in government maintain a coercive monopoly on their "services"? Because they fear having to be compete and be accountable In a free market, people would see that governmental "services" suck, so they'd either have to change or dissolve Because they've monopolized various services, those in government accuse those who don't want to be extorted as being "free riders" Agorist Class Theory: A Left-Libertarian Approach to Class Conflict Analysis by Wally Conger, drawing on the unfinished work of Samuel Edward Konkin III http://www.nostate.com/2164/agorist-class-theory-audio-mp3-podcast/ http://agorism.info/docs/AgoristClassTheory.pdf Modern politics serves as a distraction from the primary problem: people using the State to sacrifice others Those in government want people to be part of their process (the parasitical class), so their actions appear justified Statism as a cancer on society...
