This is a continuation of our last episoide..... We've been seeing those ridiculous articles about white Instagram models presenting themselves as black or mixed-race women to gain followers & we were perplexed. Then Black Chyna is now backing a skin lightening cream called "Whitenicious" (wtfff) that she is selling for $250 a bottle & it's being marketed toward darker skinned, particularly black, women. Why? Why is it that it's okay for white women to now wear cornrows when black women have been told for ages that those styles are not professional or even beautiful? Is it now a trend to "be black"? While all that is happening you still have black women learning how to love themselves FOR being black. But you still see european ideals forced upon women of color, to the extent that skin whitening creams are still being sold in 2018. Where does one draw a line on EITHER side? The world is getting weird, y'all. Part 2 coming up next!

On Episode 34 of “That’s What I’m Saying!” the Podcast, Shaun and Ny weigh in on Jay-Z’s verse on Meek Mill’s new song “What’s Free” and the degree in which he went “in” on Kanye and Kim Kardashian. The Ratchet Minute continues with Black Chyna and her ‘struggle tour’ of Africa promoting her skin lightening cream “Whitenicious”, the ‘struggle love’ saga between Juelz Santana and Kimbella and the (not surprising) allegations against director/producer, Salim Akil. (24:30) On the Woke Minute the ladies discuss the cover-up by the CDC of vaccines being a significant risk factor of autism in African American males. (35:46) On the Weekend D**k Report, the ladies offer advice to a listener regarding the use of a strap-on. (47:24) During the “I Reminisce, I Reminisce” Minute, Shaun takes us back to 1989 and Kool G. Rap and DJ Polo’s debut album Road to the Riches. (51:06) The episode ends with the ladies showing their support for CocoPie Clothing, a black owned business that shows black girls how beautiful they are.
