When Jesus first passed by the disciples, they immediately left their nets to follow Him. In the same way, Jesus calls us to let go of maintaining our nets and the burdens of this world, and follow Him to experience His yolk which is light and easy.
We carry in us the truths of God but are people seeing and hearing them from us? Why do we sometimes hesitate to share God's Word? The enemy wants to veil the gospel. But Jesus said because we have freely received, we are to freely give. People need to hear the message of Jesus Christ that sets people free.
Are we living life trying to measure our goodness with the goodness of other people? No amount of our own goodness is enough before the Lord. We are all in desperate need of God's mercy. And when His mercy touches a person's heart, that's the beginning of an amazing transformation in our lives.

What are the things that occupy your and your time? Are you 'too busy' for the things of God? God wants us to seek Him and His Kingdom first, and to trust that everything else we need He will add to us. For He is a rewarded of those who diligently seek Him.
If we place ourselves in compromising situations that we shouldn’t be in, we will inevitably give into sin. Jesus resisted all temptation and showed us that what we need above all things is to trust in and abide by the Word of God in order to live well and nourish our souls.

As we move into 2022, if we want anything to be different, we are to approach the year with faith. Our call is not to just believe in Christ, but to become like Christ - and we can only do this by faith that pleases God.
We need to always be ready to discern between what is good and right and what is deceptive. Only then will we be able to stand on the truths of God and be a people who respond with the arm of faith. [Speaker: Barry]
How are we responding to the obstacles and challenges of life? God wants us to respond with the arm of faith, not the arm of the flesh. God is calling us in every circumstance to respond in faith.
If the Lord asks us to do something, is He ever setting us up to fail? He is building in us a faith that believes that no matter what, He is Lord and He will ultimately be glorified in our situation.
