This is part 1 of a 4-part Series called: 'The Truth.' In this message, Pastor Derek discusses the different approaches needed to share the Gospel with various audiences, focusing on the Hebrew and Greek worldviews. For the Jews who'd already received the foundational biblical truths of God, Creation, Adam, the Fall (sin), and the Messianic Hope, the apostles focused on proving that Jesus is the promised Messiah, because He fulfilled all the Messianic Prophecies (Acts 2,3 and13). For those who do not have this foundation of Truth, as is the case for many people today, because of secular humanism, we have to build this foundation first before they can understand the Gospel. This is what Paul did in Acts 14 and 17. Derek demonstrates this by expounding Acts 14:8-17 and 17:16-21. As we share the TRUTH of God and the GOSPEL of Christ, we are SHINING His LIGHT on them, and if they desire to know God, they will SEEK Him, and the eyes of their heart will gradually open more and more to the light, and they will FIND Him, because He is not far from each one of us (Acts 17:27).

Join Fr. Assisi Saldanha, C.Ss.R. for an insightful journey into the heart of biblical storytelling in this episode of the Who's Who in the Bible series. As we begin this reflective study, Fr. Assisi turns our focus to the prime mover of the biblical landscape—God Himself. Through a warm and prayerful exploration, he unpacks the significance of the various names attributed to God throughout scripture, such as Yahweh, Elohim, Adonai, and El Shaddai. By examining these titles, Fr. Assisi helps us move beyond simple facts to develop a deeper, more personal relationship with the Divine. The discussion expands into the Genesis creation narrative, contrasting it with ancient mythological stories to highlight the unique, effortless, and orderly nature of God's creative word. This episode invites listeners to ponder the balance between God's magnificent omnipotence and His tender, personal care for each of us in our fragility. We invite you to continue this meaningful journey by exploring the full series as we dive deeper into the characters and themes that shape our faith.

God Is Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, and You Pray to One Triune Being – God, the Creator of the Universe MESSAGE SUMMARY: In Mark 8:29, Jesus asked His Disciples the question He asks you: “And he asked them, ‘But who do you say that I am?' Peter answered him, ‘You are the Christ {Messiah}.'". As Paul writes in Ephesians 4:1-6: “There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call— one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all. But grace was given to each one of us according to the measure of Christ's gift.”.  God IS Father, IS Son, and He IS Holy Spirit. Jesus told the crowd in the Temple; and He tells us, as it is recorded for us now by the Apostle John, in John 10:25,30: “Jesus answered them, ‘I told you, and you do not believe. The works that I do in my Father's name bear witness about me . . . I and the Father are one.'”. Also, Jesus provides more insights to your Trinitarian relationship with God in John 14:18-20: “I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. Do You Have a Personal Relationship with God and Pray Directly to God, the Creator of the Universe, for the Needs of Others? MESSAGE SUMMARY: Will you come before God with your prayers, and for whom will you pray? We can and should come before God on behalf ourselves and others -- intercessory prayer. You and I are given the privilege of following Moses' example when he prayed to God on behalf of his people in Psalms 102:1-2: “Hear my prayer, O LORD; let my cry come to you! Do not hide your face from me in the day of my distress! Incline your ear to me; answer me speedily in the day when I call!". Because of what Jesus has done for us, we can exercise this privilege of praying directly to God, the Creator of the Universe. You come before God by talking to Him with your prayers and in a personal relationship with Him. For whom and what do you pray?   TODAY'S PRAYER: Lord, I now take a deep breath and stop. So often I miss your hand and gifts in my life because I am preoccupied and anxious. Grant me the power to pause each day and each week to simply rest in your arms of love. In Jesus' name, amen. Scazzero, Peter. Emotionally Healthy Spirituality Day by Day (p. 132). Zondervan. Kindle Edition. TODAY'S AFFIRMATION: Today, Because of who I am in Jesus Christ, I will not be driven by Lust. Rather, I will abide in the Lord's Perfect Provision. “I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in Me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from Me you can do nothing.” (John 15:5). SCRIPTURE REFERENCE (ESV): Romans 1:10-12; James 5:13-18; Exodus 3:1-15; Psalms 130:1-8. No Matter How Deep Your Hole, that You have Dug for Yourself, You Can Call on God the Creator of the Universe for Help MESSAGE SUMMARY: Prayer is your conduit for communion with God. Through prayer, you are in God's Presence; and you can invite His help in your life's situations. The best way to learn how to have this communion with God is to just do it and use your normal conversational words; however, the words of Scripture are powerful and work strongly. Just pray with your heart in conversation with God. Jonah, in Jonah 2:1-2, models for us that no matter how deep our situational hole, which we have dug for ourselves, we can call on God the Creator of the Universe for help: “Then Jonah prayed to the LORD his God from the belly of the fish, saying, ‘I called out to the LORD, out of my distress, and he answered me; out of the belly of Sheol I cried, and you heard my voice.'". TODAY'S AFFIRMATION: Today, because I am filled with the Holy Spirit, I will not be controlled by my Anxiety. Rather, I will walk in the Spirit's fruit of Peace. “The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.” (Galatians 5:22f). In this talk, David Wilkinson, both an astrophysicist and a Christian theologian, suggests that while science and Christianity ask each other searching questions, those questions are enriching not destructive. The Christian understanding of God as creator allows science to be seen as gift rather than curse, to be welcomed with awe and a sense of responsibility to do good.

God shows his power to us through creation. A person who creates holds power. This Sunday, we will not only discover the importance of creating, but also how and why God creates us into something new.Questions1. What is your favorite nickname you have ever received?2. Read Psalm 82. Who are the gods the Psalmist is referring to in that day? Who are the gods of today?3. What makes God all-powerful to you?4. Have you heard of baptism by the holy Spirit before? What do you think it means? Have you been baptized in that way?5. If you have a story of how God created you into something new, share it with the people around you.

TODAY'S AFFIRMATION: Today, Because of who I am in Jesus Christ, I will not be driven by Past Failures. Rather, I will abide in the Lord's Grace. Welcome to the Unchanging Word Bible Broadcast. We are looking into the Revelation of Jesus Christ, chapter 4 once again. As we heard before, John heard a loud voice like a trumpet saying, Come up here! He was caught up to heaven where he saw a throne set up and one seated on the throne. John wrote what he saw.The Lord Jesus had directed John to write the things which he saw unlike the Apostle Paul in 2Cor. 12, who heard words which he was not able to express. There were no language, no words, no vocabulary that could express what Paul heard. But here, John wrote down both what he saw and what he heard. And you and I now have this revelation for us to read and believe and be blessed with. We can know what things will be coming after these things.Let's join Dr. Mitchell here in Revelation chapter 4:1-11.

Yet a little while and the world will see me no more, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live. In that day you will know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you.".
