“Let not your heart be troubled…” These are the words of Jesus to His disciples—and to us today. In a world filled with uncertainty, Jesus offers a promise that anchors our souls: “In My Father's house are many mansions… I go to prepare a place for you.” What a Savior! Not only does He calm our fears, but He assures us of a future with Him. A home beyond this world. A place of peace, joy, and eternal communion with our Lord. As a church family, let us hold fast to this hope. Let us remind one another that Christ has not left us alone—He is preparing a place, and He will return to bring us home.
When Jesus ascended into heaven the disciples were looking up at the sky. Just then, two messengers of God asked them why they were gazing into heaven. They went on to say that this same Jesus will come back! - Jesus Is Coming Back.
A spiritual song reminding listeners that Jesus is coming back soon. The lyrics reflect on how this knowledge could change our lives and encourage spreading the message. With a soulful melody and heartfelt lyrics, this track is a call to faith and awareness.

Father shows us that how we live should be focused on the coming of the Lord.
The return of Jesus Christ isn't just a distant hope—it's a reality that should shape the way we live today. In 1 Thessalonians 5, Paul reminds us that the Day of the Lord will come suddenly, like a thief in the night. For believers, this truth is not meant to bring fear, but to stir us to watchfulness, faith, love, and hope. In this message, Pastor Scott unpacks what it means to live as children of the day, ready for Christ's return. We are called to encourage one another, walk in faith and love, and be rich in good works toward others—because Jesus is coming back. The question is: are you ready to see Him?
Caleb Froedge discusses Galatians 6:9—“And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.”

Welcome to Episode #174 of the Way of the Bible podcast. This is our sixth of eight episodes in our Twenty-Second mini-series entitled The Return of Jesus Christ. On today's episode, we'll scratch the surface of Old Testament prophetic texts that speak of the return of Jesus. We are likely living in a period the Bible refers to more than any other. The judgment of the world and the return of Jesus Christ on the Day of the Lord. Are you ready for this?We can't go back until we start at the end. What do I mean? God revealed to Israel through the prophet Isaiah a key to all God given prophecy. Isaiah 46:10 – I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. I say, ‘My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please.'When God provides a prophetic word to the prophet to speak, God is not guessing what will happen. Nor will he artificially orchestrate something to happen to meet the prophetic vision apart from his will. Nor can anyone change the prophetic vision of God. Before we get to the Old Testament, let's take a look at the Bible as a whole. I know it seems like one step forward and two steps back each episode, but hopefully, this summary will give clarity as we continue to explore why Jesus is coming back. The Bible starts with the creation narrative in Genesis 1-3. I encourage you to accept the narrative as written, including the creation of man from the dust of the earth and woman from the rib of man. If you consider it, otherwise you diverge widely from the context and meaning of life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. In this narrative, we see creation, inference of a fall in the spiritual realm, the fall of mankind, and the identification of the fix to rebellion in heaven and on earth – seed of the woman. Next, we blast through mankind's first two thousand years of history from Genesis 4 to 11. We see in this historical narrative mankind's wickedness, angelic interference, the flooding of the earth to cleanse both human and animal kingdom genome, the continued wickedness of man, the dividing of mankind into seventy nations by language distortion. From Genesis 12 to the end of the Old Testament period is another two thousand years. God establishes an irrevocable covenant with Abraham to make of him a nation of people, with a land, and a descendant through whom all nations would be blessed – the seed of Abraham. The covenant is affirmed with Issac and Jacob. God makes a conditional covenant with the descendants of the twelve sons of Jacob to give them the promised land if they obey God's covenantal laws. God establishes a covenant with David for a descendant who will sit on his throne and a kingdom that will have no end – seed of David. The New Testament reveals that the seed of the woman, the seed of Abraham, and the seed of David are all fulfilled in the person Jesus Christ, the Son of God/Son of Man. Jesus' life of ministry demonstrated he was the spotless lamb of God through whom all the sins of the world were paid for on the cross of Calvary. The apostles affirm the sacrificial work of Jesus and that salvation and eternal life are now available to both Jews and Gentiles who believe the gospel. The hanging chad is the covenantal promise to Abraham and the Patriarchs of a people and a land and the covenantal promise to David of an earthly kingdom. What was not revealed since the creation of the world, but was revealed to the apostles of Christ was the Mystery of God. The mystery of God was that Jews and Gentiles alike who believe in Jesus are adopted by God as his children, are reborn by the Holy Spirit, together collectively are the bride of Christ, and are the manifestation of the body of Christ in this world.
The return of Jesus will not be subtle; it will be evident to all. Jesus's victory over death will be seen again, but in a new light at his return. Believers must trust that God will be faithful to his promise and that when Jesus returns, he will vindicate the righteous and destroy the wicked.Instagram:https://www.instagram.com/legacychurchtx/Join us in person:https://legacychurchhutto.comIntro music used with permission:Dreamers by Mixaund | https://mixaund.bandcamp.com
Jesus is coming back! The Bible tells us that no one knows the hour or day when He will call us to be with Him—it will as fast as the blink of an eye. Are we ready? Are we living every day as though Jesus could call us home at any minute? In this world full of tribulations, we can live with peace and purpose. We rest assured knowing God will take care of us and He has a future planned for us. 1 Thessalonians 5:1–11
Jesus told us to be always ready for His return. In the last message, "It's The End of the World as We Know It", we saw how Jesus said, “I've told you everything ahead of time.” Everything we need to know, He has told us to prepare us. So – it's not our responsibility to know all the details about the end and His return, but it is our responsibility to be ready for it. So what should we know to be ready for His return?5-Day Devotional - https://www.theharbor.life/blog/tag/hope-beyond-the-end-don-t-worry-be-readyDiscussion Questions - https://storage2.snappages.site/PJBKS3/assets/files/HBTE3.pdfMessage Notes - https://notes.subsplash.com/fill-in/view?page=Byvlwobxee________________________________________________________________________Subscribe so you don't miss a thing!Christian Copyright Solutions (CCS, BMI, ASCAP, SESAC)License: #14753Find us on:YouTube: YouTube.com/TheHarborInstagram: Instagram.com/TheHarbor_lifeFacebook: Facebook.com/TheHarbordotlifeWebsite: https://www.TheHarbor.lifeWatch/listen on The Harbor AppNew episode every week!

If you have kids or you've ever been a kid, you know what it's like during a long car ride, the constant questions, "Are we there yet?" "How much longer?" "Why is it taking so long?" That's pretty much the same question followers of Jesus have been asking since He rose from the dead and promised that He would one day return to make every wrong right, and to rule and reign on a new and perfected Heaven on Earth for all eternity. For generations, humanity has wrestled with the questions: Is this the end? And what will happen at the end? When is Jesus coming back? Welcome to The Daily, where we go through the Bible verse by verse, chapter by chapter, every single day. We are taking a short break from Ecclesiastes to celebrate Easter with some unique devotionals to prepare our hearts for this week in history. Our text today is Revelation 22:12 Behold, I am coming soon, bringing my recompense with me, to repay each one for what he has done. — Revelation 22:12 Easter Was Just the Beginning The resurrection wasn't the end of the story—it was the beginning of the greatest promise yet to be fulfilled. Jesus came once as a suffering servant, but He will return as a conquering King. The empty tomb wasn't just proof of His victory over death—it was a guarantee that He is coming again to set all things right. The world is broken. Sin still corrupts. Injustice still thrives. But this is not how the story ends. Just as surely as Jesus walked out of the grave, He will return in glory. Living in Expectation Jesus doesn't tell us exactly when He will return, but He does tell us how to live while we wait. “Stay awake, for you do not know on what day your Lord is coming” (Matthew 24:42). “Be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect” (Matthew 24:44). “Blessed is the servant whom his master will find so doing when he comes” (Matthew 24:46). His return isn't just a distant hope—it's a daily call to action. We are not meant to sit idly by, waiting. We are called to live faithfully, serve boldly, and proclaim the gospel until He comes. Am I Living for His Return? If we truly believe Jesus is coming back, it should change how we live right now. Are we watching for Him, or are we distracted by the world? Are we living for eternity, or are we chasing temporary things? Are we sharing the gospel, knowing time is short? Many people spend their lives preparing for retirement but spend little time preparing for eternity. Which one matters more? The return of Christ isn't something to fear—it's our greatest hope. The King is coming, and He will make all things new (Revelation 21:5). #JesusIsComing, #EasterHope, #LiveForEternity ASK THIS: How does Jesus' return shape the way you live today? What distractions keep you from living in expectation of His coming? In what ways are you actively preparing for eternity? Who needs to hear the gospel from you before time runs out? DO THIS: Live each day with expectation and urgency, knowing Jesus could return at any moment. PRAY THIS: Lord, help me to live with my eyes fixed on eternity, never distracted by the temporary things of this world. May I stay faithful, bold, and ready for Your return. Amen. PLAY THIS: He Who Is To Come.

Welcome to Episode #169 of the Way of the Bible podcast. This is the first of eight episodes in our Twenty-Second mini-series entitled The Return of Jesus Christ. On today's episode, we're going to pause our overview of the Sermon on the Mount with the completion of Matthew Chapter 6. The reason for this departure is multi-faceted.Over the past nine months, I have been enmeshed in the affairs of the world after becoming the President of a company whose leadership team I was coaching. In order to take what I knew to be a temporary position, I put my coaching practice on hold, and the recording of podcast episodes and my spiritual journey on severe time rations. For the next nine months I I successfully navigated and completed the purpose for which I was hired. About a month ago, I stepped back into my coaching practice and other pursuits including this podcast and my spiritual journey. While I was able to piecemeal together several episodes of this podcast, during my time away, the world changed. Now that I'm back and ready to begin regular episode releases I sense a conviction to address an important topic for our times as they are now. I'm a student of the word of God, a lifelong learner, and I pay attention to the signs of the times. And I'm sufficiently convinced that the world as we know it is about to enter into the times that the bible talks about more than any other. The judgment of the world, final testing and redemption of Israel, and the initiation of the millennial kingdom. What! I'm not ready for that. Not a problem, nor is anyone else. Or should I rather say, most others as well are as equally ill prepared for what could be coming on the near-term horizon. I think sooner than later and certainly in my lifetime, even at 67, Lord willing. This of course was the apostle Paul's perspective, so I guess I'm in good company.Titus 2:11-15 – For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. 12 It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, 13 while we wait for the blessed hope—the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, 14 who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good. 15 These, then, are the things you should teach. Encourage and rebuke with all authority. Do not let anyone despise you.I hope you heard Paul saying he was waiting for Jesus to return. That hope was, is, and should always be at the forefront of the mind of all believers as Jesus may return at any moment. But it's been 2000 years now, come on DrZ..!The Holy Spirit anticipated that comment and had Peter address it in 2 Peter 3:8-11 – But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. 9 The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. 10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare. 11 Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives 12 as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming. That day will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt in the heat. 13 But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, where righteousness dwells.Jesus is coming back to judge the world. Of that, the bible leaves no doubt. With that brief introduction, let's get started. A little background to catch us up and then jog and sprint to the fin
Jesus didn't give us Mark 13 so we can overlay modern events on it like some apocalyptic decoder ring. He's being pastoral. He talks about some tough stuff—wars, betrayal, suffering, false teachers, and the end of days. But the heart of it is this: “How are you going to respond when this happens?” In this episode, Pastors Whit George and Ethan Vanse explore Mark 13 and living with eternity in mind.
