A Girl Walks Home Alone At night is a Persian film set in Iran. It’s a story of a women who of course is not any women, she is a vampire! This film presents an interesting twist on the classic vampire story. Listen to see how a few too many brewskis, some subtitles, and Bill drinking the whole time gets him real confused. We’re just heading up north a bit for our beer of the week. We’ll be drinking Lustgarten by Santa Fe brewing company! Paranormal activity is of course a ghost story, that follows a couple in California. Filmed all on their own personal camera! So be ready for some really shaky footage, and a whole lot of unexplained things happening! Will the couple be able to make it out of the house? As seen on the movie poster, “one of the scariest movies of all time” but really? This could possibly be Bill’s what the hell of the week.
Episode 3: The Conjuring We’ll be drinking Double White, one of our favorite beers from Marble Brewing down in Albuquerque New Mexico! The conjuring follows a family who moves to a new home that they were able to get for cheap. Why was the house so cheap though? Watch as Ed and Lorraine Warren try to put their paranormal investigation skills to the test. Will they be able to get whatever has attached to this family away? Did we mention this is based on a true story, so maybe sometimes a good deal should be passed up.
Episode 4: The House on Sorority Row We’ll be drinking Elephants on Parade from Bosque Brewing here in New Mexico. The House on Sorority Row is about some sorority sisters who decide to stay at college a little longer to throw a graduation party. In the mean time though, Mrs. Slater plans to do her same thing as every summer. So who will the extra visitor be at this party?
We’ll be drinking blood and honey from Revolver Brewing down in Texas! Cabin in the woods tells a story of 5 stereotypical teenagers who go on a getaway. Everything is great until they make it into the basement and start playing with different artifacts. What creature will they call upon during their getaway?
Episode 2: It Follows We’ll be drinking Red Trolley Ale from Karl Strauss Brewing down in beautiful San Diego! It follows is a film about a disease that spreads through sin. A disease? More like a creepy old lady or whatever it wants to be that follows you, but yeah close enough! This film is from 2014, but is in a 1980's skin. Could you be the next one to catch this terrifying sickness?
