On this episode we drink the Broken Crown, a Dry Hopped Lager from 13 Stripes Brewery, and the If Land Or By Sea, a Tropical Stout. Dry Hopping adds some bitterness and a hoppy aroma, not usually seen in a Lager, and the tropical stout is a straight up killer stout with Orange Peel and Mango Puree in it. Two awesome beers by two awesome breweries.

Beers Of Joy is a new documentary focusing on four individuals journey through the "craft beer world". What it does not say is that every brewery featured is owned by ABInbev (except maybe one), and the movie was produced by ABInbev. The brand logo is featured prominently throughout the movie. While this movie does do a good job at showcasing some individual stories, be warned this is not indicative of how I feel the local craft beer scene should be represented. Form your own opinions!
