Sam is wrapping up our mini-series of setting you up for success by giving you a close up view of how she tackles study time. Sam was a VIP admit in her graduate program. What that means her academic performance as an undergrad gave her automatic admission into a graduate program. In other words, Sam really is a killer student (which is why she is a great co-host and mentor)!!
We are continuing our miniseries of setting you up for success. We are focusing on studying independently. Especially with COVID, you will have to be doing a lot of learning on your own. How do you do that? How do you maximize your study time in order to be a bad ass, killer student? We give you some tips on how to be one. Key take aways for this episode are: 1) Know key terms and definitions. Don't just memorize, be able to ________ (you fill in the blank). 2) Engage with the text you are reading by a) asking questions before you read and b) ______ (you fill in the blank). 3) You have to keep yourself accountable. What are some markers you need to set in place in order to make sure you stay on track?
