Soturi has ideas and decides to enter the crystal and explore its interior. Having fun forcing his questionable at best companions to tell the truth and putting them in a time out for a bit. Bored of them he decides to teleport the crystal away and summon Louhi, leaving them to fend for themselves in the wild for a bit. Once back in town he seeks out the wizard in the tavern after the obelisk gets stuck in the anti magic barrier, not paying enough attention he doesn't realize this is a completely different wizard but thankfully he is able to help the morons anyways. After the party kills snakes that are conjuring out of the blood on the ground, they argue about where and when to take a nap. Soturi following his instincts refuses to sit down while the snake witch enacts her great and dark ritual. Venturing off on his own Ihrtos trusting Soturi decides to follow him through the long hallway. The other party members reconsider their position and decide to follow Soturi, better weak and together than alone in these cursed hallways. The Party wanders around before realizing they need to go up not down. They then find themselves stuck in a never ending hallway, doing the only logical thing and splitting the party, the rogue and warlock wander down the halls alone leaving the Cleric and Paladin at the original doorway. The party sealed in their tombs enjoys the benefits of being alone in a stone room while being haunted by their darkest fears or just scary things in general. Soturi bored decides to eat a sandwich while participating in this sketchy ritual, waiting to uncover their plans and set ruin to his foes! Will he be able to save his comrades? Soturi and Ihrtos being ditched by their companions while summoning Louhi, both agreeing that whatever is in here is most certainly immensely evil. They rush to catch up to Hod and Cauthon wherever they have run off to and to save them from themselves...Hod obsessed that he needed to fulfill some sort of ritual with these "People" in order to finish his eye stabbing ritual with the utterly evil shadow snake men that he had made a dark pact with, to rid himself of his fears... shows the Ormhaxan his mark from his transaction with the shadow snake men.Cauthon also believing this is the true path as one who follows the shadow snake beings encourages Hod forward into taking on this unknown ritual. Turning away from the light of Jumala Hod decided to proceed forward with this dark ritual. afterHod binding himself to the dark ritual, touches the large black orb, believing he was invited into this unholy ritual, goaded on by Cauthon he binds himself with the dark orb. Cauthon joins in on the ritual marking his own soul once again to hopefully aid his new friend. Their guide reveals that there are other with them that may join in the ritual. Hod reveals to the all mother that they are loyal to their holy god and may not support this ritual. She laments her sadness in that much could be gained from their compliance.after Cauthon binds himself to the ritual, Hod and Cauthon are lead into their tombs gratefully... Soturi and Ihrtos enter the temple. Asked if they are the companions of the cursed one they are asked if they will join him... reluctantly they touch the orb in fear for their companions life. Soturi does not feel the evil presence of the grand orb but continues on not knowing what dark pact his companions have entered into.Soturi unaware of the impending doom he faces questions the thrall and consoles the lizardfolk Ihrtos who is very much skeptical of the ritual but the two of them agree to being segregated into the rooms to help their friend Hod not knowing what else to do. Cauthon builds a raft! The group laughs at Soturi as Cauthon knocks him into the coldest water in the universe, Cauthon helps him out with his staff of unquestionable evil. The party traverses across the lake with Cauthons' questionable raft. They meet an extremely questionable character on the other side who says they are expected. Hod leaves Soturi and Ihrtos behind while they preform the summoning ritual for Louhi. Cauthon follows along with Hod knowing something is very wrong here... but hey who needs the Paladin and the Cleric anyways?
