They get so competitive that the kids stop having fun and many quit altogether.They're encouraged to join forces and form one “super choir” for a joint service. As they start spending more time together, sparks fly. Jake helps Nikki work through her fear of singing in public, and they almost kiss — until he's interrupted by a phone call. His band's music is really taking off in the city.Soon after, Jake learns that a record label wants to meet with him. He has to go, even though it means missing the big performance. At first, Nikki asks him not to leave because she's nervous about singing again, but she ultimately encourages him to go. It's his dream.At the performance, Nikki's voice cracks at first — but she powers through. Just when it matters most, Jake shows up, and they sing together.Afterward, Jake tells her the meeting was brief: the label wants to sign them and send them on tour. But he's worked out a plan so he won't be gone for long stretches — he'll move back home and commute to the city for recording.They finally kiss. They kiss — big ones.The movie ends with Grayson and Lady Braxton getting married. At their wedding, we see that Ian and Sabrina are engaged.She talks with Grayson more and he encoruages her to think about things a bit more. Speaking of Grayson, she ends up finding Grayson his long lost love charlotte. she's lady braxton. he's like oh i know that, but i'm too old for this ish. She's like NO! You're never too old for love. They rush down to see each other and it's wonderful. And Sabrina rushes to find Ian. But she's too late. He's already left for the airport. Except, HE NEVER LEFT! He says he's fallen for her and then he gives her the jewlery box...it's not an engagement ring at all. It's a snowflake necklace. they talk and make up. he tells her he's moving there to bring the charity to the states. and they kiss big ones!The movie ends with Grayson and Lady Braxton getting married. He offers to help update Woof Moon's website — web design is his real passion. They spend time together in the mountains and nearly kiss, until a kid shouts “EWWW!” from far away.Becca's brother-in-law eventually comes home safe — but then promptly goes back out to the rig to help a buddy. Because he's returning voluntarily, he won't be covered by insurance, and his family doesn't know. Logan does.Logan knows a lot more than he's letting on. His boss is pushing him to get the families of the remaining workers to sign paperwork that would essentially waive their rights.When Becca and her sister discover that Logan knew the truth, they're furious. But Logan has set up a radio system that allows them to communicate with the rig, so they reluctantly keep him around.They finally make contact, only to find that Becca's brother-in-law has his arm pinned under debris. Logan talks to him to keep him awake, and during the tense moment, he admits to Becca that he has feelings for her.Everything works out, the rescue is successful, and Becca and Logan finally kiss. But she wasn't really alone. Wild creatures became her friends, and she was constantly the recipient of neighborly kindness from folks on the mainland. Laura Lee's 1922 book about her winter on the island is now considered a classic of Canadian literature, and a vivid portrait of time gone by. In this episode, Dave and Jamison answer these questions: I handed in my resignation this past Monday. During the conversation, my manager confided in me that this coming Wednesday, 25% of the workforce is being laid off. For context, this is the second round of layoffs. The first round happened a year ago and was a disaster. It was announced via an internal video the night before, but the CEO forgot to mention that the affected employees had already been notified privately. This caused mass panic; thinking they were next, many experienced engineers immediately brushed up their resumes and jumped ship voluntarily. Even my skip-level manager was in the dark. Shortly after that chaos, we were acquired by an American Private Equity firm. Morale has been at an all-time low ever since, and the writing has been on the wall all year. Now I am in the awkward position of serving my three-month notice period while walking through the ruins of my company. I am the “lucky one” who quit voluntarily two days before the hammer dropped to join a different company for a massive raise and promotion, while my colleagues are about to lose their jobs. How do I navigate the next 90 days? How do I interact with the survivors who are likely furious and overworked, knowing I'm already checking out? Was als kleiner, überschaubarer Live-Abend geplant war, eskaliert innerhalb weniger Stunden zu einem der absurdesten Größenwahn-Pläne der deutschen Podcast-Geschichte. „AHH KORREKT x EISTEE PISTAZIE Live“ – ein Auftritt vor gerade einmal 100 Menschen – ist schneller ausverkauft, als man „Ticketshop aktualisieren“ sagen kann. Und genau dieser Moment bringt offenbar etwas ins Rollen, das niemand mehr aufhalten kann. Statt sich zu freuen, dankbar zu sein und den Abend einfach zu genießen, geraten Phil & C-Bas laut Umfeld in einen Zustand kollektiver Selbstüberschätzung. Aus einem kleinen Erfolg wird plötzlich eine gefühlte Massenbewegung. Aus Applaus wird Allmachtsfantasie. Nur Stunden nach dem Ausverkauf fällt intern ein Wort, bei dem selbst routinierte Branchenkenner zusammenzucken: Stadiontour. Nicht Clubs. Nicht Theater. Stadien. Tausende Menschen, gigantische Bühnen, Lichtshows, ein Podcast, der nicht mehr einfach nur aufgenommen, sondern proklamiert wird. Dass die Brüder bislang nur die besagten 100 Tickets als Erfahrungswert vorweisen können, spielt in diesen Überlegungen offenbar keine Rolle mehr. Insider berichten von Sätzen wie: „Wenn 100 kommen, kommen auch 40.000.“ Doch damit nicht genug. Kaum ist die Stadionidee ausgesprochen, folgt die nächste Eskalationsstufe: Eine große Kreuzfahrttour. Mehrere Tage auf See. Wechselnde Schiffe. Voll ausgelastet. Tausende Passagiere. Keine Nebenbühne, kein optionales Angebot. Stattdessen riesige Open-Air-Shows an Deck, Flutlicht, Soundanlagen, die über das Meer donnern. Wenn Phil & C-Bas auftreten, steht das Schiff still. Die Passagiere drängen sich an Deck, die Stimmung kocht, Menschen schreien, springen, filmen. Urlaub wird Nebensache. So zumindest die Vision der Brüder. Kritiker hingegen sprechen bereits von „Realitätsflucht mit Meerblick“. Und als wäre all das nicht schon genug, fällt schließlich die Idee, bei der selbst wohlmeinende Fans kurz innehalten: Eine Swingerclubtour. Kein Scherz. Keine Pointe. Ein Live-Podcast in Räumen, die eigentlich für ganz andere Arten von Begegnungen gedacht sind. Nicht wegen Sex, heißt es, sondern wegen „Atmosphäre“. Wegen maximaler Irritation. Wegen des Gefühls, irgendwo zu sein, wo man nicht sicher ist, ob man überhaupt zuhören darf. Ein Konzept, das viele für den endgültigen Beweis halten, dass der Erfolg des ersten Abends komplett zu Kopf gestiegen ist. ALLES NUR, WEIL 100 LEUTE „JA“ GESAGT HABEN! Dabei ist die Ausgangslage ernüchternd simpel: 100 Menschen wollten einen Live-Podcast sehen. Einen Abend lachen. Dann nach Hause gehen. Stattdessen entstehen Tourpläne, die größer, wilder und realitätsferner kaum sein könnten. Fans schwanken zwischen Faszination und Fremdscham. Manche feiern den Irrsinn als konsequenten Größenwahn. Naughty, naughty.The next day, Charlie catches Isabel watching them. Isabel's like, “Oh yeah, I watch people sometimes. No big deal.” She spends the day with Charlie and Jason and realizes Charlie's behavior is way more complicated than a simple Naughty or Nice label. She even tells Charlie who she really is — but Charlie doesn't buy it. After all, Santa brings her presents regardless, even the year she was naughty all the time.Jason wants to talk to Isabel about what's going on, but she gets called into the office. She ends up quitting because she doesn't believe in the system anymore. Naughty and Nice isn't as black and white as HQ wants it to be.Meanwhile, Jason and Charlie talk. Charlie tells him about what Isabel said — including how last year she noticed Santa's handwriting looked… different. Suspicious.Charlie requests that Isabel attend the grand opening of Jason's new pizza place so they can talk things out. Isabel shows up, tells Jason she quit, and together they decide to take their concerns directly to Santa. She makes her case to get rid of the Naughty List… and surprisingly, Santa agrees. Super easy.Isabel takes a new job working for Santa but gets to work remotely so she can stay with Jason and Charlie. They celebrate by spending Christmas morning together and kissinggggg. She tells her friend the news: she won't be there for the Christmas Cup. But what about Quinn? Kelly insists, he's a stranger, who cares! The argument doesn't last long, and the trip continues. It turns out Frédéric is the grandson of a woman their grandma met on her original trip.One evening, Kelly opens up to Frédéric about feeling guilty since her grandma passed away. They slow dance and kissgggg — but Kelly quickly becomes emotional, insisting she doesn't want a holiday fling.It's time for the big hike. Things go smoothly until they reach the cabin, where a big storm hits. Faith insists on continuing the hike and heads out on her own.Kelly and Frédéric set out to find her, leading to a heart-to-heart between the sisters. Especially when the answers seem to be right in front of us. Because there are two very compelling suspects that were barely investigated by law enforcement back then. Despite the fact that one matched a suspect composite sketch. And drove the same kind of car she was last seen getting into. And even when it's found out that the bedspread her body was wrapped in was similar to one missing from their hotel room, little was done to find out what happened. Is it too late for answers?
