Gold Net's Kevin Keise speaks with Drew League Legend Bill "Still Bill" Crawford about the Lakers selecting Lonzo Ball with the number 2 overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft. There's new hope in L.A and he's a baller, literally. Los Angeles newest Laker Lonzo Ball had brung excitement back to Laker basketball and fans are excited for this up and coming season. Drew League legend Still Bill Crawford, who's been around basketball for 44+ years said, Lonzo was the best Laker pick since selected Magic Johnson. "Lonzo is the best pick the Laker's have had since 1979 when the picked Magic," said Still Bill. He continued,"Lonzo will be one of the best floor generals for the next 10 years." Crawford believes Lonzo's game can translate to the NBA immediately. While at UCLA, the 6' 6" 190 pound point guard averaged 14.6 points, a Division I-leading 7.6 assists, 6.0 rebounds and 1.8 steals last season with the Bruins. As a freshman, he led UCLA to a 31-5 record after it went 15-17 the season before. His 274 assists marked the third-most by a freshman in Division I history. He was the first Pac-12 player to average at least 14 points, seven assists and six rebounds in a single season since Jason Kidd. "He'll bring a lot of court awareness, great ball decision, he'll spread the floor around and the Lakers will be glad to play with him," said Crawford. The pressure is on Ball, not only by his dad, but there are high expectations for the kid. His father believes he can take the Lakers back to the playoffs and Still Bill believes he can impact the team right away.

Now with a lingering groin issue, and Day to Day injury status causing some concern among some Chris Paul owners, it could be a great time to negotiate your way to trading FOR the Elite level LA Clippers Point Guard for the long run. 4:30 - Monta Ellis - Monta is significantly under performing expectations up to this point in the young season. Monta was expected to play a major role with the depleted Indiana Pacers this year, especially considering Monta's Stellar season last year with the Dallas Mavs. Paul George is off to an incredible start to the season picking up where he left off before his injury, which has stolen some of Monta's thunder for the time being. With that said, Monta Ellis is still expected to carry a large offensive role for the Pacers which should lead continuously increasing numbers as the season goes on. Trade FOR Monta Ellis. 8:15 - Klay Thompson - Klay currently matching his carreer averages in Points(16), Assists(2.5), and Rebounds(3.6), but I think most of us were expecting Thompson to take his game to another level this year.
