In Episode 520 of State of the New York Knicks, I break down how I saw the Knicks completely smoke the Bulls, and I recorded this one with fellow Knicks fans and Knick fans while we also tapped into some 90s hoops talk. From my perspective, this game was over almost immediately with the Knicks jumping out to a 20-1 start and playing straight lockdown perimeter defense all night, going into halftime up 74-34 and never looking back, and honestly the Bulls roster just didn't have any answers. What stood out to me was Mitchell Robinson dominating with elite efficiency, now holding the 7th most double-doubles in NBA history while shooting 100% from the field, and in this game alone he had 15 points and 10 rebounds by halftime, the most combined points and rebounds he's ever had in a half, while OG Anunoby continued his impact, improving to 22-4 when scoring 20+ by dropping 31 points, 8 rebounds, and putting up a +32 performance, and I get into all of this and more in the episode, so Knicks fans click on the links below and tap in.Click the links below for:

How much better would Ty Simpson make Tennessee? The Top 5 at 5:00
Tyler and Collin break down an exciting stretch for Iowa athletics. We kick off with the men's basketball team's impressive 74-61 victory over UCLA on January 3—the most recent action—where Bennett Stirtz dropped 27 points to lead No. 25 Iowa to a hard-fought win, holding off a second-half Bruins surge. We dive into what this means for head coach Ben McCollum's stellar debut season, as the Hawkeyes sit at 12-2 overall (2-1 Big Ten) with growing momentum. Then, we shift to Iowa Football's ReliaQuest Bowl win on New Year's Eve, where Iowa outlasted No. 14 Vanderbilt 34-27. We discuss the game, the end of a ranked-opponent drought, and how this 9-4 finish builds positive momentum heading into the 2026 offseason.
