It's a solo pod today — just me breaking down everything going on in Knicks world. I talk about the team's defensive issues and what needs to change if we want to be taken seriously as contenders. Then I dive into Amar'e Stoudemire's recent comments about Carmelo Anthony, what he said, whether he's right or wrong, and how that era really shaped where the Knicks are today.I also get into Phil Jackson's book — some wild stories, his perspective on the triangle, and what I think he got completely wrong about New York basketball.

Munaf Manji and Mackenzie Rivers talk NFL Week 3 recap. Plus, the guys dive into MNF Ravens and Lions. Munaf Manji (0:14 – 1:13) opened by recapping Week 3, noting the Chiefs' 22–9 win over the Giants. He stressed New York's failure to score a touchdown and hinted at looming coaching and quarterback questions. The Chiefs covered –5.5, the total stayed under, and the game was defined by defense. Mackenzie Rivers (2:25 – 4:13) said, “the Chiefs defense now three games in a row has been pretty good,” but highlighted offensive struggles with Travis Kelce at just 26 yards and Hollywood Brown leading in receiving. He framed Kansas City's attack as steady but no longer explosive. Munaf (4:13 – 6:26) pointed to Isaiah Pacheco's 45 rushing yards on 10 carries and Taekwon Thornton's 71 yards and a touchdown. He noted Harrison Butker's missed kicks left four points on the field, yet argued Kansas City remains in control of the AFC West. Discussion shifted to the Giants (6:44 – 9:26). Fans called for Russell Wilson's benching, while Mackenzie criticized Jackson Dart's limited usage and compared Malik Nabers' inefficiency to Carmelo Anthony. Survivor contest carnage followed (9:33 – 12:16). Nearly 3,000 entries were eliminated after Packers and Falcons losses, leaving only 58 alive. Mackenzie mocked anyone who picked the Dolphins as “setting your money on fire.” Market moves (12:16 – 26:25) showed upgrades for the Browns (+1.5), Vikings (+1.5 with Wentz's 173 yards, 2 TDs), and Colts (+1.5 behind Jonathan Taylor's 102 yards and 3 TDs). Downgrades hit the Cowboys (–2), Packers, Bengals with Jake Browning's 5 picks, and Titans for a 3–17 ATS record. Munaf stressed Houston's NFL-worst 38 points scored in three games. The preview (27:13 – 35:18) focused on Lions vs. Ravens. Detroit was +4.5 after scoring 52 against Chicago, while Baltimore's defense allowed 4.67 yards per carry. Munaf liked Jared Goff over 35.5 pass attempts, expecting volume. Both leaned Detroit +4.5. Closing (35:18 – 43:34) included Pregame.com's $10-for-$50 bulk dollars promo, Mackenzie's reminder that five of the last seven games with totals over 53 involved Detroit and went over, and a cautious lean under. They ended with best bets on Detroit +4.5 and excitement for the NBA season. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

The conversation kicks off with an introduction and book promotion [00:00], before moving into a sharp dissection of today’s biggest pop culture headlines [00:55]. From there, the hosts dive into the art of public apologies and accountability [02:44], reflecting on how controversial perspectives on relationships continue to shape both personal dynamics and public perception [05:14]. This leads into a larger discussion on the role of social media and how it amplifies — and sometimes distorts — public discourse [08:59]. The episode then shifts into rap culture, beginning with an honest breakdown of hip hop and street culture’s current state [13:48], followed by an in-depth look at Young Thug’s leaked jail calls and what they reveal about celebrity, loyalty, and consequences [18:44]. Relationship dynamics return to the forefront through the lens of Mariah the Scientist’s public narrative [24:32], before the group pauses for reflections and conclusions on how these conversations connect back to accountability and cultural responsibility [29:52]. Carmelo Anthony was inducted into the Hall of Fame and he had some kind things to say about Denver, are you ready to forgive him for the Melo-Drama? Does he deserve to be honored? The guys discuss breakfast on Friday before they gauge the level of concern that the Broncos’ first round pick didn’t start week one.

Mike Evans and Brandon Stokley with Mark Schlereth start the third hour breathing a sigh of relief that the stadium is staying downtown, or rather, staying out of Lone Tree and Castle Rock. They are joined by FOX’s lead college football analyst, Joel Klatt, to get his take on Bo’s performance and continuing development, as well as his take on Sean Payton’s play calling. Stink gets hot and bothered listening to Mike McGlinchey talking about the run game. The guys try to calculate how much fluid Stoke drinks during every show. Mark and Stoke finish the third hour explaining to Mike why Carmelo Anthony doesn’t deserve to have his jersey retired here in Denver.

Hour 1 Nolan McLean pitched well last night but the Mets offense has been horrible and couldn't score a single run. They are not winning the division now, we can only hope that they hang on and get into the Wild Card. JJ McCarthy and the Vikings came back in the fourth quarter to beat the Bears even though he played terribly for three quarters. Jerry is here for his first update of the day and starts with the sounds of the Mets losing 1-0. Gary, Keith and Ron talked about the Phillies always having ball-girls instead of ball-boys. We heard the sounds of the Vikings coming back to beat the Bears in Chicago. We also heard from McCarthy and Kevin O'Connell after the game. Brian Daboll confirmed Russell Wilson will start vs Dallas. Jerry had a quick preview of Jets/Bills for this weekend. In the final segment of the hour, Rex Ryan went after Mike McDaniel for being a ‘nerd boy'. Hour 2 The Giants are not allowing Jaxson Dart to talk to the media which violates the NFL media policy. What are they worried about? If they don't want him talking or playing then make him the third quarterback. Larry from Indiana checks in as he's thrilled to have Daniel Jones on his team. A caller has had it with Mike Kafka and the Giants offensive scheme or lack thereof. We went over the spread for Giants/Cowboys and Bills/Jets. Jerry returns for an update and starts with the sounds of the Vikings coming back and beating the Bears in Chicago. We heard Brian Daboll talk about his confidence in Wilson at QB. We heard Rex Ryan call Mike McDaniel ‘nerd boy'. The Mets lost 1-0 in Philadelphia and Alvarez had a horrendous at bat to end the game. We heard a clip of Carmelo Anthony and his son talking about the different generations. In the final segment of the hour, Gio said he had no bets on the NFL games this past weekend and it wasn't so interesting to him. He can't just sit there and watch it without some action on the games. Gio said he has a hard time focusing on almost everything now. Hour 3 We started the hour talking about a guy on social media who cleans up overgrown lawns for free. We also talked about the Vikings comeback win over the Bears last night as JJ McCarthy had a strong fourth quarter after doing nothing the first three. A caller said McCarthy reminds him of a young Tom Seaver (that's a joke callback on Boomer). Jerry returns for an update and starts with the sounds of the Vikings win as we heard Kevin Harlan on the call. The fan that shoved Lamar Jackson and DeAndre Hopkins went on the local news with a neck brace on to apologize (it was actually a comedian pretending to be the fan and he fooled the local news). Mike McDaniel was asked about good things that happened for the Dolphins and it did not go well. In the final segment of the hour, Gio's bucket list golf courses and what kind of nasty crowd are we getting at the Ryder Cup at Bethpage. Hour 4 Today is Dick LeBeau's birthday and he got a birthday shoutout in Boomer's sports minute. Then we spent way too much time talking about him for some reason. Jerry returns for his final update of the day and starts with the final strikeout of Francisco Alvarez as the Mets lose to the Phillies 1-0. Mets are now 8 games out of a division they were up 7 games at one point. We almost had 2 no-hitters last night. Right now, there have been none this season. We heard the sounds of the Vikings coming back and beating the Bears last night. Bill Belichick said he's not welcome at the Patriots facility, but Mike Vrabel said he is welcome. The Moment of The Day: Boomer's a big edging guy. In the final segment of the show, Gio was thinking about ranch and how it's his favorite condiment. Boomer argues it's not a condiment. Gio said anything you can put a french fry in is a condiment.
