This week’s podcast features Michael Richardson, Senior Consultant of Data Analytics at KPMG. When this episode was initially recorded, he was a Senior-in-charge of Assurance at the same organization. Have graduated in the top 5% of his class in Accountancy and Finance from Concordia University, he went on to pursue his CPA studies at McGill University where he had the highest overall academic ranking in the program. Taking the final CPA exam, Mr. Richardson attained the Gold medal for attaining the highest performance in Quebec. Today, he tries his best to give back to his alma mater, serving as a Strategy coach for the John Molson Competition Committee, and as a Board Advisor for the John Molson Women in Leadership Association

This week on JMPS: Lucie Martel, SVP and Chief Human Resources Officer of Intact Financial Corporation She is responsible for Intact's Human Resource strategies, policies, and programs. Prior to this appointment, Ms. Martel was a Senior Vice President at AXA Canada. She has more than 30 years of experience in the strategic management of Human Resources and Labour Relations, with corporations including Laurentian Bank (where she was Vice President, Human Resources Management and Development), Direct Film and Uniroyal. Ms. Martel has a degree in Industrial Relations from Université de Montréal. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Société des alcools du Québec and she is the chair of the Human Resources committee.
Mr. Gauthier has over 20 years of experience as an executive manager for Financial Markets and Wealth Management, with a strong emphasis on the Securities industry. He is a leader who previously founded a Wealth Management firm of his own - one that was highly successful before being acquired by a major player in the industry. His macro vision when analyzing issues and his leadership style have always enabled him to build and attract high-caliber professionals to his team
Mr. Lauzier joined Ivanhoe Cambridge in 2017 as Vice President, Global Financing and Capital Markets, and then became Senior Vice President of Investment Optimization and Capital Markets. Mr. Lauzier has more than 20 years of real estate experience and has held a number of investment, financing and asset management roles in North America and Europe. Previously, he was based in London as Managing Director, Mergers and Acquisitions – Europe, a position that rounded out his long international career at GE Capital. Mr. Lauzier has also worked at HSBC in investment banking and holds the CFA designation.
