Listeners of John O'Callaghan Podcast that love the show mention:The John O'Callaghan Podcast is an incredible podcast for any trance music lover. Each episode is filled with high energy and carefully selected tracks that keep you captivated from start to finish. The mix of well-known classics and new releases creates a perfect balance of nostalgia and freshness. John O'Callaghan's remixes are particularly outstanding, showcasing his talent for transforming already great songs into something even more spectacular.
One of the best aspects of this podcast is the consistency in the quality of the mixes. Whether it's a Subculture mix or a special guest mix, you can always expect the same level of excellence. The track selection is impeccable, with each song seamlessly blending into the next, creating a cohesive and immersive listening experience. The energy throughout the mixes is infectious, making it impossible not to dance along or get lost in the music.

This variety keeps each episode interesting and ensures that there's something for everyone, whether you're a long-time fan or new to the genre.
The only downside to this podcast is its infrequency. With episodes released only once a month, it can be difficult to satisfy your craving for more trance goodness. However, it can also be seen as a positive aspect, as it allows listeners to fully appreciate each episode without feeling overwhelmed by too much content.
In conclusion, The John O'Callaghan Podcast is truly a gem in the world of trance podcasts. Its consistently high-quality mixes and diverse track selection make it a must-listen for any trance enthusiast. While its infrequency may leave fans wanting more, it also adds to the anticipation and excitement for each new episode. If you're looking for an electrifying musical journey that will transport you to another realm, look no further than The John O'Callaghan Podcast.

The first of at least ten tracks this year. One a month. All trance. No distractions. No detours. One track at a time. One step forward each month. Let's see where the road leads. An album by the end of 2025?
I played a kind of 'ode to the past' of the Joint Ops stuff. (plus 1 classic tech-er) Thanks to all who went to the Void Stage for the set! When Mauro appeared I got very nervous :) This could be the last Joint Ops set for a while, focusing on trance for 2025!
Hope you enjoy my set from this years electric Luminosity night at ADE Amsterdam! There is a few hot ID's in there :) listen on youtube: https://youtu.be/LwHaI24H6II

It's no surprise why people from all around the world gather each year for this event. Everybody looks forward to it! Including the DJs, as the crowd and online feedback is always so warm. It's a memorable party with trance friends and a celebration of trance music, and I'm already looking forward to next year!

Here is the b2b set from myself and Aly & Fila - from the unforgettable weekend that was Subculture Thailand! Myself and Fadi never plan sets, so this one was truly an 'on the fly experience' :) I think that makes it more authentic & fun. Thanks to all the fans who travelled and made this weekend so amazing. It truly was one for the books!
Another incredible edition of the epic A State of Trance festival came to Rotterdam this weekend. It was a pure pleasure to be part of such a huge spectacle of Trance! Did you enjoy yourself? Liberation London is becoming one of my favourite gigs of the year. It's a place where the DJ and crowd truly are one entity, together for the music. No spotlight and no focus on the stage needed. Just clubbing in it's purest vintage form. That's what I love. Thank you Liberation! P.S - this set is full of ID's! follow: https://www.instagram.com/thisisliberation/
What a way to end 2023, in the amazing city of Montreal. A place where I have played many dark, harder sets over the years - and this time was no different. I love the crowd here, and I love the club. Merci, Montreal! I hope to see you soon x
Finally got to b2b with one of my heros of trance. The wizard who taught me more than anyone could wish. What a moment, what a weekend - thanks once again to Dreamstate and the unreal SoCal crowd! Cheers G!

Here is my first ever open to close set in Belfast. One of the best gigs of my life to be honest. I am eternally grateful for the support Belfast has given me, truly a special place! For the first 2.5 hours I ventured into some progressive, tech-house and techno, including some of my favourite tracks from other genres. Then, from there we went into full on trance and tech-trance. Thanks again to all for creating such a memorable experience!
Beyond Wonderland 2023 was one of the most awesome atmospheres I have seen in California! The crowd was crazy energetic and it was a true pleasure to play for them. After my set I walked around and it was amazing to see all the stages going off, proper! Huge thanks, see you next time.

Here is my extended set from the incredible city of Buenos Aires, where I always feel like home. Thanks to the people of Argentina once again for making lifelong memories, I will see you again my friends! *I did not make this mix audio super loud, so you can hear the crowd atmosphere. The audio levels vary due to the recorder - I know certain parts are not perfect but this is for those who want to relive this night. Thank you :)
One of our most popular Subculture events to date took place in the amazing city of Bangkok, Thailand. People travelled from far and wide to be part of this night - thank you to all of those legends for joining us! My set was a combo of new unheard Subculture IDs combined with some Subculture favourites. Hopefully we get to go back soon - thanks again!
The yearly trance pilgrimage to San Bernardino occurred this November. The weather was cold but the energy was high! It's an honour to have played 2 sets at this event; here is my Joint Ops set from the Void stage. Happy holidays all, and see you in '23 :) x John
A huge event for Transmission in the flourishing trance scene of Poland. We were delighted to be part of it and to be back in one of our favourite places - Gdansk! We can't wait to see you again, thank you.
A huge milestone event for Rong Manchester, it's amazing to see how much they have grown since their first events. I felt I should play as much new stuff as I could at Rong in the first half of my set. Most of them are forthcoming on Subculture. Hope you like the ID's!
To be at home, playing to such an electric crowd was brilliant. The place was hopping! It reminded me of the old days. Thanks to each and everyone who came to the Subculture Arena, we hope to see you next year.
Nights like these make me feel lucky to be part of our global trance family. Truly memorable moments! Thanks to all who came for my set, appreciate it massively :) See you next year *At 00:34.28 there is an audio fade due to the stream dropping
This was the first ever Dreamstate Harbor and I think it was fantastic. What a cool venue, right by the water ... in the Summer air enjoying the tunes with a brilliant crowd as always. Thanks to all the Dreamers and Trance Family for coming for my set. Grateful to be surrounded by such positive people! See you soon :)
This was the most emotional show of my life. Our good friend Factor B losing his beautiful Ellie was such a shock and devastating blow. Only a couple of years ago I remember them dancing and being so happy at my wedding. Brendan coming to DJ on the day showed incredible strength , no doubt with the help from Ellie encouraging him on. We are here for you always Brendan. Rest In Peace Ellie Gray

We hope to do it again soon :)
Walking into the arena at Creamfields 2021 was a very surreal experience. So much emotion and feelings flooded back to me both as a clubber and a DJ. Having not felt trance played loud for 18 months really left a void in me, and returning to such a special event gave my spirit and soul a giant boost. It's great to be back! Huge thanks to everyone who came to support! See you all again very soon :)
