The last weekend of June plays host to one of dance music's most special events, as fans across Europe and the wider world descend upon Zandvoort, the Netherlands, for a special four day long Luminosity Beach Festival. It's no surprise why people from all around the world gather each year for this event. Everybody looks forward to it! Including the DJs, as the crowd and online feedback is always so warm. It's a memorable party with trance friends and a celebration of trance music, and I'm already looking forward to next year!

Another amazing weekend on the beach at Luminosity, always one of the highlights of the year. I played a lot of brand new music at this show for the very first time, it's my most melodic set in a while. I hope you enjoy it. See you next year.

Luminosity is hailed as the best European trance festival and every year it proves again just why it gets that reputation. I played 90% brand new trance and IDs in my set, I hope you enjoyed them. In this limited run series, I will be exploring the pioneers that have shaped and influenced the EDM we have today. In this episode I will be featuring “The Human League” “The Human League” was formed in 1977 and consisted of Ian Craig Marsh, Martyn Ware, and Philip Oakey.  The band had multiple lineup changes over the years with later members Joanne Catherall and Susan Ann Sulley. In 1981 the band released one of their biggest commercial hits “Don't You Want Me”.  Take a listen here.Released from their third studio album “Dare”, “Don't You Want Me” is recognized as a classic track with its use of electronic instruments and synthesizers; which made this groundbreaking at the time. He had his first international gig there at the 2008 edition of the festival. Back then it was way smaller then it is now, but it still had the same friendly atmosphere back then as it has today. People from all around the globe gathered to be a part a weekend filled with trance music of all sorts. Lars met a lot of positive and warm-hearted people at Luminosity, and this year was no exception. Isn't it amazing how music makes us transcend our differences and connect under the umbrella of trance?

This was another very special night at the Luminosity Beach Festival. It was the first time that I've played there in four years, and it was definitely worth the wait. There were a couple of power cuts during the set due to the bad weather, but that only added to the atmosphere once the music returned. I loved it. I hope you enjoy the set.

This is a special episode to celebrate Luminosity Beach Festival 2019! Over the course of the four days I had four tracks of mine played by various DJ's. Scott Bond played my remix of Dave Joy 'First Impression' and my rework of Oliver Klein 'Rheinkraft'. As the previous years some of the Norwegian DJs have gathered to make our very special warm up mixes. It started with one, expanded to two and three, before having four unique DJs doing what we love the most. This year it is even more special. For the first time we are having an official Trancefamily Norway mix series by the crew and others.
