Catholics – that is, true Catholics, are constantly bombarded and persecuted by the culture's version of love. The popularized slogan “love is love” really means, “if you are a loving person, you must accept what any person deems as love–even if that runs contrary to your beliefs and morals.” Contraception, spouse trading, pedophilia, same-sex acts, no-fault divorce, sex-changes, pornography, polygamy, abortion, and adultery are just some of the ways that our culture proposes love. What is the Christian response? When responding to our culture's claims that love is love many Catholics are gravely disadvantaged, feel helplessly ignorant, and because of this cave into the world's maxims. Is there a simple, reasonable, theological response that dispels the lies of every sexual moral heresy and proclaims true love and the way to live it? The answer is yes, and the Catholic Church has it. Listen now to Devin Schadt and Judah Kennedy as they provide the antidote to every moral sexual heresy.

Religion has been defined as the means by which human beings attempt to “reach” God and make God knowable. In an attempt to accomplish this man has offered many solutions to the problem of religion. Being that each religion maintains and proclaims different and varied tenants of belief–often opposing each other–there are only three scenarios: first, all religions are correct (which cannot be true); all are religions are incorrect (which may be true) or there is one religion that is correct, and all others are incorrect. In this episode Do Catholics Know God? Devin Schadt and Judah Kennedy briefly review the differences in many major religions (Judaism, Islam, Mormonism, Jehovah Witnesses and more) and why Catholicism is the only right religion among them, and the implications of being Catholic or a non-Catholic. God won't deny me heaven… I am not evil…I'm actually a pretty good person. It doesn't matter what religion you identify with, or if you identify with any religion at all–what matters is that you are a good person. Ideas like these are nearly universally accepted, even among devout Christians. But what if the idea of “being good” as the standard of one's salvation is actually bad? But could this idea be thwarting the initiative to save sols. In Just Have to Be a Good Person to Get to Heaven, Devin Schadt and Judah Kennedy discuss five reasons why the idea of “being a good person” is illogical and refutes itself.

We all want more. More money, more time, more success, more prestige, more pleasure, more fun, more friends, fans, and followers… we all want more. But often the more we want the less we have. Why do we often lose what we worked so hard for? How do we get more? We are commanded to be generous, to give, and help others. But often we become fearful that if we give, we will have less. We are tempted to believe that having more is achieved by giving less–by holding on tightly to what we have. The devil conditions us to believe that giving more we will have less, that we will suffer less if we have more, and the more we have the less we will need. But what if that is a lie? In The Catholic Father Episode 8, Wanting More, I focus on a certain individual who believed these things and his belief determined his fatal destiny. Ever feel like you have nothing to offer? You want to be more but feel like less? Your lack of talents is holding you back from doing something big? Think like this and you'll give up on God and settle for being stimulated and satiated by the world. What can a not-so-gifted-person do? Believing that others have all of the gifts and that we have very little to offer makes us believe that we are worthless; that it is God's fault for making us this way; and it lets us off the hook. We believe that we have no obligation to serve God beyond fulfilling the bare minimum. We think: God doesn't expect much from me because He didn't give me much. The Gospel of John recounts an event wherein a small someone had very little by the world's standards but was called by Jesus to do something with it. Jesus is faced with the challenge of feeding the multitudes, and a boy has five loaves and two fishes. Andrew the apostle says, “But what are these among so many?” This is the question that we all have. I have very little talents, very little money, very little time; what good is it? I cannot even make a dent in world poverty. I can't save all the souls who are going to hell. Why spend the little I have on such an impossible situation? When we succumb to that lie, we think that God can't do something big with our little. But God can do something great with your little. In this video, I explain how the boy and the great saints didn't do great things -but small things with great love, and how we can be like them. The self-righteous pharisee.  He is convinced not only of his own holiness but also of other's sinfulness. The self-righteous end up alone because they don't want to be around sinners and sinners don't want to be around them. And we all are guilty of this sin. In this video I focus on a key figure from the Gospels, Simon the Pharisee. He doesn't believe that he has been forgiven much and therefore he doesn't love much. A woman, a sinner busts in on a dinner at Simon's house. She falls at the feet of Jesus, and Simon is appalled. Simon judges her, condemns her– and Jesus for letting her touch him. We've all been there. We snub the person we are jealous of. We don't invite certain individuals to our gatherings. We judge figures of authority and their motives. We criticize everyone else while neglecting to see our faults. We, like Simon, forget the dirt from which we came. We commit a sin that is worse than sin. And if we, and Simon remain there, we will be given the harsher judgment. Our Lord says to the measure that you measure, it will be measure out to you. But that isn't the end of the story for Simon and it doesn't have to be the end of the story for us. In this video you will discover the rest of the story about Simon (It is amazing) and how it applies to you, and how you can begin to conquer playing the pharisee. Rejection. Not being wanted. The truth is that we all need to be needed. God made us this way. But when we don't feel wanted, we can make the mistake of forcing ourselves on others. But what if we are focusing on the wrong thing: being needed, when the answer is to focus on other's needs. When we focus on being needed, or how can we be important in other's lives, we make ourselves god, the center. It's all about us. But when we focus on other's needs, we allow God to be at the center–and when we do something amazing occurs. In this video I focus on one person, a man who Jesus delivered from being tormented from many demons. Jesus gives him back his humanity and his dignity. He begs Jesus that he may follow Him, but Jesus rejects his plea. Can you imagine how he felt? The Lord Jesus appeared to reject him. We have all felt this kind of rejection and it is painful. But that is not the end of the story for this man, nor is it for us. Why do some marriages work? Why do others breakdown? Why do some couples really love each other, while others want to kill each other? Great marriages are usually founded on one thing–forgiveness. Forgiveness may be the most common theme in the Gospels because it is a matter of life and death. There is a mountain of scientific research that demonstrates that unforgiveness causes anxiety, depression, physical and mental health problems. It raises blood pressure, increases body pains and decreases our ability to process mentally and enjoy life. On the flipside, forgiveness reduces anxiety, depression, reduces physical health problems and lowers mortality rates. When you forgive you sleep better, your cholesterol is lower and so is your blood pressure. Marriage seems to be designed for difficulty. But God made marriage to heal us spiritually and physically. But this is important: A Good marriage is not defined by how little you fight, but by how well you forgive. In this video I focus on the character of the Unforgiving Steward. A man who has been forgiven much but suffers from spiritual amnesia. Probing his story we will discover five key tips to learning how to forgive and not to forgive so that your marriage can be at the heart and center of the renewal of all things in Christ–and you can get on with your wife.

Feeling like you're not enough. Wrestling with failure. Suffer from feeling inferior? We've all been there. No Matter how much we have, we secretly know how little we are. How do we overcome our sense of littleness? How can we grow in real confidence? It is a dangerous thing to derive significance from men rather than from God. The respect of men is shifting sand upon which no man should build his house. So how do we overcome being enslaved to other's perception of us and become free to be who God has created us to be? The secret is significance. There is worldly significance: Your worth is based on what others think of you. And there is another type of significance–the true kind. In this video I focus on the first King of the Israelites, Saul, and how he mistakenly appeals to what others think of him to determine his worth. By probing Saul's inferiority complex, you will discover the key to overcoming self-hatred, feeling inferior, or not being enough. You will learn what true significance is, how to obtain it and live it in such a way that you have a confidence that is out of this world. When you listen to people's opinion of you, you will never be enough. When you listen to God and His love for you, you will always know that you are enough. Plagued by the past? The devil wants you to look back to keep you from moving forward. Often people allow their sins to define them. This video explains why a guilty past can cripple us, and the two things you can do to overcome your past so that God can get on with your future. Lying, usurping, stealing, Jacob the Old Testament Patriarch wreaked havoc in his life and those around him. Running from his sinful past, and Esau his twin brother who vowed to kill him, he believed that he could begin anew. But there was a problem: Jacob never repented of his past or faced up to who he was. Because of this, his former life came back to haunt him and those whom he loved. But that all changed when God called him to face his pervious life and return to his father's land–which meant Jacob's certain death. Facing our sinful past and encountering those who we have hurt and who have hurt us can seem worse than death. This video explains why being bound by a haunting former life can be worse than death, and by dealing with your past, you can experience the freedom to become the person that God is calling you to be–a saint.
