Are You Avoiding the Pitfall of Wanting More for Less? The mistake that most people make and agents make in business is they don't work hard enough and they wanna get paid for very little work. They want to get paid a lot for very little work. Here are some reasons why some people may fall into the trap of wanting to get paid a lot for very little work: 1. Misunderstanding of Effort vs. Value: Some individuals may not fully grasp the correlation between the effort they put in and the value they provide. They might believe that their time is inherently valuable, regardless of the actual impact or quality of their work. 2. Overestimation of Skills: There can be a tendency to overestimate one's own skills or the perceived value of their services. This can lead to unrealistic expectations about compensation. 3. Lack of Awareness: Some people may simply not be aware of the amount of effort required to succeed in a particular business or industry. They may underestimate the time and energy needed to achieve their desired level of success. 4. Desire for Quick Success: In a fast-paced world, some individuals may be drawn to the idea of quick and easy success. This can lead to a desire for high pay with minimal effort, without recognizing the need for consistent hard work and dedication. 5. External Influences: Societal pressures or influences from peers and media can sometimes create unrealistic expectations about the effort required for success and the value of one's work. 6. Lack of Passion or Purpose: When individuals lack passion or a sense of purpose in their work, they may be more focused on the financial rewards rather than the intrinsic value of their efforts. It's important to recognize that sustained success often requires a combination of hard work, skill development, and a commitment to providing value to others. #realestateagent

Wanting More of the Holy Spirit Acts 1:3-8 During the forty days after his crucifixion, he appeared to the apostles from time to time, and he proved to them in many ways that he was actually alive. And he talked to them about the Kingdom of God. Once when he was eating with them, he commanded them, "Do not leave Jerusalem until the Father sends you the gift he promised, as I told you before. John baptized with water, but in just a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit." So when the apostles were with Jesus, they kept asking him, "Lord, has the time come for you to free Israel and restore our kingdom?" He replied, "The Father alone has the authority to set those dates and times, and they are not for you to know. But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere - in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." The Holy Spirit Gives Power Luke 24:49 And now I will send the Holy Spirit, just as my Father promised. But stay here in the city until the Holy Spirit comes and fills you with power from heaven. Acts 1:8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere - in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. The Holy Spirit Changes Lives Acts 9:17-18 So Ananias went and found Saul. He laid his hands on him and said, "Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on the road, has sent me so that you might regain your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit." Instantly something like scales fell from Saul's eyes, and he regained his sight. Then he got up and was baptized. 1 Samuel 10:6 At that time the Spirit of the Lord will come powerfully upon you, and you will prophesy with them. You will be changed into a different person. Luke 3:16 John answered their questions by saying, "I baptize you with water; but someone is coming soon who is greater than I am - so much greater that I'm not even worthy to be his slave and untie the straps of his sandals. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire. The Holy Spirit Wants to Produce Fruit in Us Galatians 5:22-23 But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things! 1 Corinthians 12:8-10 To one person the Spirit gives the ability to give wise advice; to another the same Spirit gives a message of special knowledge. The same Spirit gives great faith to another, and to someone else the one Spirit gives the gift of healing. He gives one person the power to perform miracles, and another the ability to prophesy. He gives someone else the ability to discern whether a message is from the Spirit of God or from another spirit. Still another person is given the ability to speak in unknown languages, while another is given the ability to interpret what is being said. The Holy Spirit Wants to Amoint Us Luke 4:18-19 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, for he has anointed me to bring Good News to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim that captives will be released, that the blind will see, that the oppressed will be set free, and that the time of the Lords favor has come. Mark 16:15-18 And then he told them, Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone. Anyone who believes and is baptized will be saved. But anyone who refuses to believe will be condemned. These miraculous signs will accompany those who believe: They will cast out demons in my name, and they will speak in new languages. They will be able to handle snakes with safety, and if they drink anything poisonous, it wont hurt them. They will be able to place their hands on the sick, and they will be healed. The Holy Spirit Wants to Bring Us Into the Supernatural Acts 2:17-21 "In the last days," God says, "I will pour out my Spirit upon all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy. Your young men will see visions, and your old men will dream dreams. In those days I will pour out my Spirit even on my servantsmen and women alike and they will prophesy. And I will cause wonders in the heavens above and signs on the earth below blood and fire and clouds of smoke. The sun will become dark, and the moon will turn blood red before that great and glorious day of the Lord arrives. But everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." Concluding Prayer Holy Spirit, I ask that your presence would be more real in my life than ever before Holy Spirit, I ask that you would anoint me with the desire to pray and spend more time with Jesus Holy Spirit, I ask that the love of God would flow out of me through you Holy Spirit, I ask that you would break off the devils power over peoples lives and that mighty miracles, signs and wonders would flow through me. Holy Spirit, I ask that the gospel and the words I speak of God, would come out of my mouth like fire. Holy Spirit, I ask that all my family and friends would receive the same blessing. Amen!
So you might KNOW you're not in the right place for you. You might have even considered quitting before. But something always seems to pull you back in before making a change. It's not the right time, you don't think it would be different anywhere else, you need to go back to school; sometimes the list seems overwhelming keeping you right where you are: safe but dissatisfied and unfulfilled. This episode explores the top five most common beliefs I hear from coaching clients about why they can't leave their jobs, the lies they are actually rooted in, and how you can confidently get unstuck and move towards your next role.Watch: https://youtu.be/yuMTptWTR9U

This the eighth commandment of the ten commandments teaches us how some of what we do can defraud our neighbour. Wanting More out than we Put in
Per audience request, I've recorded a solo convo about my journey on finding holistic/alternative/functional/integrative healthcare options. First of all, let's clarify what those mean. Those said practitioners practice focusing on discovering the root cause rather than treating a symptom. Functional medicine centers on the idea that one condition may have caused many conditions. Integrative medicine uses a combination of therapies and lifestyle changes to treat and heal. Whereas, traditional "conventional" Western medical practitioners treat symptoms and diseases using drugs, radiation, or surgery. Depending on your needs will depend on what you are seeking. There are various options out there, but sometimes in our rural American areas, we are in short supply of options available. I recommend: Get curious. You should feel comfortable asking your healthcare provider any and all questions when it comes to your life. If those needs aren't being met, you owe it to yourself to seek other options. You are not "stuck" with your provider til death do you part. Your healthcare doesn't have to work like marriage. Get referrals. Ask people you trust who they use for 'XYZ.' You obviously want to find a provider that aligns with what you are seeking. If someone has a great referral for a foot doctor and you are having issues with your endocrine system, keep looking. Get creative. If you live far from your ideal provider, ask if they offer phone or video appointments with patients. If not, ask them for a referral for someone in your area. You don't know what you don't know. My story isn't linear, and neither will yours. Trust your intuition if this is something for you. It might be or it might be someday down the road. There isn't a deadline, but remember you and your wellness is worth working with someone you trust and who advocates for you. >> If you are enjoying these episodes, please show me some love with a quick rating and review on your podcast app!

Our next message is “Wanting More.” In it, we explore how we can go to extremes with wanting more and wanting to do more. Even in the darkest of times, God is till with us. Our scripture reading comes from John 12:1-8.
Now that Christmas is over and we've entered 2022, how can we not only eliminate the feeling of “Wanting More” that Christmas leaves us with, but also live throughout the coming year avoiding its re-emergence?
My friends, have you ever wondered what impact your thoughts, behaviors, and feelings have on the RESULTS you get in your life? Can your state of mind
My friends, do you feel a little uncomfortable emotionally when you're LOSING WEIGHT

Keep Your Family Catholic with Devin Schadt and Judah Kennedy
We all want more. More money, more time, more success, more prestige, more pleasure, more fun, more friends, fans, and followers… we all want more. But often the more we want the less we have. Why do we often lose what we worked so hard for? How do we get more? We are commanded to be generous, to give, and help others. But often we become fearful that if we give, we will have less. We are tempted to believe that having more is achieved by giving less–by holding on tightly to what we have. The devil conditions us to believe that giving more we will have less, that we will suffer less if we have more, and the more we have the less we will need. But what if that is a lie? In The Catholic Father Episode 8, Wanting More, I focus on a certain individual who believed these things and his belief determined his fatal destiny. By looking at his example we will discover the secret to obtaining more of what we really need and what we truly desire. Discover how to conquer your fear of losing what you have and to have and be more than you ever imagined. Below is a great resource that can help you conquer the fear of losing what you have and discovering the freedom to become more: InterFEARence: The One Thing That Is Limiting You… And How to Conquer It – Book https://fathersofstjoseph.org/product/interfearence-the-one-thing-that-is-limiting-you-and-how-to-conquer-it/

“Most of life is choosing what you already chose.... Our lives are stories of recommitment. ~David BrooksKevin and I come full circle in this episode. We are recommiting to our dream life. Our lives will be a balance between a satisfaction with who we are now, and an openness towards who we could become. We are focused on making the ordinary feel extraordinary. Our lives are about staying true to what we have already chosen, and exploring the expansive world our focus now allows us to see. Plus, we continue to re-establish intimacy between the newest versions of ourselves. *Editors note: After numerous listens it was determined that Kevin was in fact correct in his early assessment @ 3:10. In the words of Jermaine Cole, "Love Yourz". On this episode EC and OH revisit an old interview by J. Cole where he speaks on the Disease of Wanting More. In the interview Cole shares his experience with dealing with fame and constantly feeling unsatisfied after achievements due to always wanting more and more. The boys use this topic to share some of their own personal struggles with this as well. This episode is a reminder to value the important things in life and not the materialistic things that don't actually matter. Hip Hop Leaf: The CloverLike the pod? This episode explains the brain-body connections that allow the specific foods we eat to control our moods and motivation. I discuss the vagus nerve and its role in dopamine and serotonin release in the brain. I review Omega-3 fatty acids and the key role of the gut microbiome in supporting (or hindering) our mental and emotional states. Many actionable tools are reviewed and discussed related to fasting, ketogenic and plant-based diets, probiotics, fermented foods, fish oils, artificial sweeteners, specific supplements that promote dopamine and serotonin, and some remarkable behavioral (and belief) effects. If I'm being honest, I have a lot of “beef” with the whole concept of morning routines. There's a lot of false expectations around what a morning routine is and what we SHOULD be doing. Well, if you know me I frequently say F the shoulds and like to go my own way. So, today's episode is about honoring the proven benefit of a morning routine while also giving you permission, inspiration and a little framework to make it your own. If you've struggled with a morning routine in the past or feel you're due for a change, I've got you! I've had a wild roller coaster ride with morning routines over the years and have learned a thing or two (or ten). From my morning routine while working a 9 to 5 with a baby. To my morning routine when I left my 9 to 5, but suddenly had a child that got into everything. From changing my routine when we started traveling. To my current routine, when I honestly have all the time in the world. I've been there, done that and want to share the journey with you today. Today's episode is inspired by The Greatest Showman and a recent Peloton ride. While riding and jamming out to one of the most inspiring soundtracks, I had a moment where I was thinking about the power of dreaming and the detriment of waiting. Thinking about admitting your dreams.Thinking about making hard decisions to make your dreams a reality.Thinking about the discomfort that comes from admitting and going after those dreams.Thinking about how quickly everything can change. This journey is not easy - it's uncomfortable but so worth it. And today's podcast dives into the power of holding the vision of your future and not waiting to take action. The truth is life is short and I know that sounds like a quote on your mom's kitchen wall, but it's true! I've experienced this first hand walking so closely and living through grief. And when we truly realize that time is limited and action is required we live in alignment and that's the energy I want you to bring into and sustain in 2021. Because over here we believe in living a life in alignment, which starts with admitting your dreams, holding that vision and taking action. We've seen some serious slippage... even though I HAAAAAAAAAATE Colin Cowturd, I caught some of his show today... and it is TRUE... THE RAIDERS under Jon Gruden are a HORRIFIC DECEMBER TEAM. THAT is COACHING... no doubt in my mind. So what will the Raiders do the final two weeks of the season? It all starts with a DEFACTO Playoff Game on Saturday (and will be - in my estimation - the ONLY Playoff Game they'll be in this year) with a Prime Time contest VS. a Dolphins team I scouted personally (calling their game on the Apple COLORCAST App this past Sunday) ... and MIAMI is a team who plays hard... together... and WANTING MORE. Join us tonight as Asylum and others in Raider Nation FIRE A BROADSIDE with the ol' Salty Captain.

Mark Oestreicher — Journey regular and founder of The Youth CartelAspirational Faith: The Beauty of Knowing Less and Wanting MoreMessage Summary: There is a story in Mark about a man who asks Jesus to heal his son. In that conversation, the man cries out to Jesus, “I believe, help my unbelief!” In the paradox of having both doubt and belief, we find an invitation to bring our whole selves to Jesus without shame. When we remain open to “aspirational faith”, we also find ourselves less fearful, cynical, and judgmental. Although it seems counter-intuitive, we can set into place practices to help us celebrate where our doubts can lead us, rather than be shamed by them.
