Genesis 50:15-21The ground of a gracious life is faith in the God of Grace! We are called to radical grace with each other in response to God's radical grace for us.

Genesis 39:20-40:23Because God is with us, we can and we must stay faithful in times of trouble.

Genesis 38 & 39 - Because Jesus has paid the price of sin, broken the power of sin, and by His Spirit, united us with Him, we must flee from evil and run towards righteousness!

If you want to know how much, how radically, how beyond-anything-you-could-ever-do God has loved you, you need to know Jesus and what He has done for His people.

Passage(s): Genesis 24:1-27As those who belong to a faithful God, we can trust Him, and obey His commands, even when we can't see how it will all turn out.
Passage(s): John 17:1- 21, Ezekiel 47:1-12 In Christ, the living water which makes all things new is flowing into all of Creation. God has and is keeping His promise! The Church is the expression of that reality in the here and now. Meaning, if we are the people of God, we must be a people from whom living water flows into dry and weary places!
Passage(s): Philippians 4:4-7There is no greater joy we can experience this year and no greater purpose you can have in your life than knowing and enjoying God. Prayer is a practice God gifted to His people to help us do this.
Passage(s): Luke 1:26-33There is One King who's name will stand forever, One God, One Lord, One Savior, and the only hope that you and I can have for life. In the baby in a Manger, we see that before He came in glory, our King came as a servant. Before He came to judge, He came to save. He is a King of love, of grace, and of good news. Let's bow before Him and adore Him together!

Passage(s): Genesis 18-19Abraham prayed for Sodom because of the righteous. God's people are called to pray for the world knowing that they are in the world as those who are created, love, and called by God!
Passage(s): Genesis 17In this passage, we find God's precious promise to His people, the requisite signs and realities for their participation in the promise, and the work He performs in order that they are able to fulfill that which He has commanded.
Passage(s): Genesis 15The only way forward, while we await the promise, is to trust in the One whose promise never fails.
Passage(s): Genesis 13-14Here in Genesis, through the life of Abraham, we are reminded that seeing clearly begins with trusting in the One who is Sovereign over all, and the Christian response to any result in life ought to be one that entrusts all glory and gain to the One who alone is worthy!
Passage(s): Genesis 12:10-13:4In a fearful world, there is an Almighty, all-faithful God who loves His people well. Trust in Him!
Passage(s): Genesis 11:1-9; 12:1-4In our life, we can either settle in Babel, and bet on pride, or we can humbly sojourn by faith to the land of promise.
Passage(s): Genesis 6-10Through the story of Noah and the Flood, we see that our cursed hearts are wholly dependent on a gracious and just, covenant keeping God for salvation and deliverance!
Passage(s): Genesis 4-5From the story of Cain and Abel, we begin to see and understand the reality that in our world, the battle between good and evil is all around us, whether or not we see it! In everything we are engaged in a spiritual war. And in a world of devouring darkness, God is bringing life to those who walk with Him!
Passages (s): Genesis 3At Fall, sin came into this world and because of sin the world is broken and dying. But God, in His goodness and grace, has a plan and a promise to make all things new!
Passage(s): Genesis 1:26-2:25Of all creation, God made us special; and only in Christ can we be what we are made to be!
Passage(s): Genesis 1:1-25If we want to have a life of true meaning, if we want to have hope, if we want to rightly value every human being, the truth that God is The Creator must be the foundation of our reality.
Jesus came to give us free, true, and pure life! Every person has sexual baggage, sexual addiction, or at the least, is living in a culture where they are constantly called to compromise God's truth for satan's lie. There is no place in God's church for sexual immorality, we must pursue purity.Passage(s): Revelation 2:18-29
If we want to be faithful till the end, avoiding or hating evil isn't enough, we've got to love Jesus! In Christ, we become a people who overcome the world by faith expressed in love. A vibrant, passionate, singular, and victorious love in Christ!Passage(s): Revelation 2:1-7
If we want to live a life that loves God most, and loves others well, we must begin with and live by faith. This is where love comes from! This is where obedience comes from! Knowing, and trusting in, and being united with our Savior and Sovereign, Jesus Christ.Passage(s): 1 John 5:1-5
The church is called to be a place that lovingly and faithfully seeks the wanderer. In this, we become a church more full of real holiness, long lasting friendship and fruit, and radical testimony to the wonder of God's grace!Passage(s): James 5:19-20
We must be careful to not boast in our plans as if we hold control over the outcome. Instead, we can humbly submit and look to our God who holds control in His hands and know exactly what His children need.Passage(s): James 4:13-17
The tongue is wild, but a redeemed tongue joins in singing for more to worship. The tongue is a fire, but a redeemed tongue joins the psalmist in the friction of sanctification.Passage(s): James 3:1-12
James challenges believers in this passage to never show partiality. When we do, we break the Kingdom law. From this challenge, we receive this call to become a people of radical, proactive, costly, unprejudiced mercy. Passage: James 2:1-13
As believers, we must never graduate from the Gospel. We must, everyday, preach to ourselves the Gospel and reminder ourselves of who we are in Christ and what He has done for us!Passage: Psalm 40
This passage is all about clarifying true religion from false religion, because in this passage, we find the promise that there is a kind of religion which is certain to produce blessing and life.
God, our Maker, and in Christ, our Father, is good. He is for His people, and He there is a gift that we have received, that when we have rightly oriented our hearts around it, should leave us supremely grateful, no matter the season, no matter the storm. Passage: James 1:17-18
Pride is a dangerous proposition that every person is prone to elevate in one's life. James helps to show us that we must crucify pride and pursue humility, because God humbles the proud and gives grace to the humble!Passage: James 1:9-11, 4:1-10
There are two sources that promise wisdom. One that offers true wisdom, joy, and abundance, and another that offers foolishness and folly. God, who is perfectly wise, invites us to find true wisdom in Him through fearing and following Him. He also warns us not to heed in false wisdom in this life.Passage: James 1:5; 3:13-18
Trails in life are coming, or are here, for every single person. God invites us through His word to look to Him in the midst of trials in order that we might remain steadfast and count those trials as joy!Passage: James 1:2-4
In our new series through the book of James, we will be considering the real fruit that comes from real faith in Christ Jesus. In order to see this, we must first understand that true faith in Christ always produces obedience to God and fruit in the lives of God's people.Passage: James 2:14-26
Jesus came to build a house, a house where God will dwell with His people! The problem is this: sometimes, people aren't interested in God's dwelling with them, or their so distracted by other things, that they miss what's happening right in front of them.Passage: John 2:13-22
As the Church, we have the invitation from God to both love our neighbors and share the truth of the Gospel with them. In Christ, we have all we need to learn and to live a life on mission.Passage: Luke 10:25-37
Before Jesus ascended to the Father, He gave the Church a mission to be faithful instruments in the hands of an empowering and faithful God. The mission is clear, but it is also challenging. The good news, however, is that our God is perfectly faithful in this mission, and He goes with us and empowers us with the Holy Spirit as we go out!Passage: Matthew 28:16-20
The first Adam was born in a garden and banished in shame, bringing death to all creation. The second Adam was buried in a garden and left in glory, bringing life to all creation! Christ the King lives, and through Him, we will live!Passage: 1 Corinthians 15
Palm Sunday is a reminder of what Jesus willingly, knowingly, and joyfully did for us. We must give thanks! We must give thanks with our words, with our songs, with our gathering in His name, but also, as or more importantly we must give thanks with our lives! Every day of your life must be lived from a place of grateful response to what God has done for you in Christ.Passage: Psalm 118
