The harvest is great, and Jesus is still sending His people. As Bridgewater steps into a new ministry year, this vision message calls us to lift our eyes and see the mission field all around us—our neighborhoods, schools, and communities. Rooted in Jesus' words and the Great Commission, we're invited into a bold vision for 2026: saturation. Not maintenance. Not addition. But trusting God to move as we step out in faith, live on mission, and believe that when we go… then God moves... Passage: Luke 10:2 Speaker: Josh Jones

In this episode, we walk through Luke 18:9–14—the parable of the Pharisee and the Tax Collector—and answer one of the most important questions in human history: How can a sinner be made right with God?This episode is brought to you by our ministry partner Accountable2You. Join thousands living in freedom with nothing to hide, and visit https://accountable2you.com/dialin. Use our unique code DIALIN to get 25% off your first year of an Accountable2You Personal or Family PlanThis passage completely reshaped the way I understood the gospel of grace, because it exposes the danger of self-righteousness, especially for people who grew up in church and know all the “right answers.” It's possible to look religious, speak the language, and still be resting your confidence in what you've done—or haven't done—rather than Christ alone. We cover:The context of Luke 17–18 and the question: “How do I enter the kingdom of God?”Why God's holiness makes the gospel necessaryWhat a Pharisee would have looked like in Jesus' day (religious elite, moral rigor, spiritual discipline)Why a tax collector was viewed as the worst kind of sinner in Jewish societyThe difference between pride masked as humility vs true repentanceThe tax collector's plea for mercy and how it points to propitiation (wrath satisfied by a substitute)Why Jesus says the tax collector went home justified—and the Pharisee didn'tThe core of salvation: merit vs mercy, self-justification vs free gift, works vs graceIf you've ever wondered whether you've subtly drifted into a “good person” version of Christianity, this conversation will challenge you to re-center your hope on Jesus' blood and righteousness—not your performance.Passage: Luke 18:9–14Topics: justification, repentance, grace, self-righteousness, holiness of God, gospel clarity, Pharisees, tax collectors, propitiation, Christian testimony

Speaker: Al van Zijl | Series: Got a Question for God? | Passage: Luke 1:1-5
In this message, we're learning how to replace the broken soundtracks in our minds, the lies we hear on repeat, with God's truth. Every temptation Jesus faced in the wilderness was a lie wrapped in a shortcut: a shortcut to God's timing, God's plan, or God's purpose. Instead of taking the easy way, Jesus answered every lie with Scripture, showing us the path to do the same. Following His example, we learn to spot the lie, swap the lie with God's Word, and speak the truth until it becomes the new default pathway our mind goes. Because you can't stop a lie; you have to swap it, and Jesus shows us how. Passage: Luke 4:1-12; Hebrews 4:15 Speaker: Kevin Stiles

The Promise of RestorationToday's Passage: Luke 4:16-21And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up. And as was his custom, he went to the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and he stood up to read. And the scroll of the prophet Isaiah was given to him. He unrolled the scroll and found the place where it was written, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor.He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor.” And he rolled up the scroll and gave it back to the attendant and sat down. And the eyes of all in the synagogue were fixed on him. 21 And he began to say to them, “Today this Scripture has been fulfilled in your hearing.”For more information about this Advent season, visit our Christmas at Fellowship page. Advent is a time of great anticipation as we await the Christ-child entering our world at Christmas. This year, through the imagination of C.S. Lewis and his book The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, join us on Sunday mornings as we uncover the story of the birth of Christ in a new way. C. S. Lewis writes this story against the backdrop of war. Little children are shipped to the North of England, away from London bombings. Imagine the Pevensie children's fear and powerlessness, but also the power of a story like this to restore their hope. Two thousand years before, a girl not much older than Susan wondered, "How can this be?" The truest things are not always the most probable. Salvation comes in extraordinary ways. Preacher: Daniel Schreiner Passage: Luke 18:31 - 19:10
Mary Magdalene is introduced as the one “from whom Jesus had cast out seven demons,” and yet unlike some of Jesus' closest friends, Mary didn't need to put her hand in the risen Jesus' side. She knew Him by His voice. While others may look at you and see only your past, know that Jesus is the one who holds your future. Know His voice. Passage: Luke 8:2, John 20:1-18 Speaker: Kevin Stiles

We all ask it: "Where did it go?" Our paychecks disappear, our budgets feel tight, and financial stress is more normal than financial peace. But the problem isn't just math—it's mission. This series explores what Scripture says about debt, tithing, and eternal investment, helping people not just manage money better but trust God more deeply and live more generously. Jesus tells the story of the Rich Fool—a man who thought more stuff would bring more security, but died before he could enjoy it. His mistake wasn't being rich—it was trusting in riches. In the same way, many today are buried under debt, trying to live lives we can't afford in pursuit of peace we can't buy. Debt promises freedom but delivers slavery (Proverbs 22:7). This week challenges us to stop letting money control us and instead take back our margin by putting God first. Passage: Luke 12:13-21; Proverbs 22:7 Speaker: Kevin Stiles
