China's growing influence and control of key infrastructure around the world coupled with America's inflation and national debt is resulting in a significant shift in the international power balance. The CCP's strategy of warfare conducted across multiple domains is much more likely to cause large-scale war than Russia's current land grab in Ukraine. If love your neighbor is the second most important command in the bible, then why are Christian churches so void of love for their communities? Why is it such a culture shock when we go into churches and talk about radically loving the people around us? If you have completely surrendered and put your faith in God, and you're ready to step out and radically love your neighbors the way that Jesus calls us to, then this episode is for you. Jesus said that the greatest command is to love God with all of our heart, with all of our soul, and with all of our mind. But how exactly do we do that? Humility. Faith. Obedience. Unfortunately, few are willing to teach this fundamental command. And even fewer are willing to obey it. Find out more in this week's episode of Millennial God! Don't forget to LIKE and SUBSCRIBE! To be honest, I'm not sure if the American church is ready for this conversation. But it needs to be said. God calls us to be wildly devoted to Him and fully committed to loving our neighbors. But is that what the church looks like in America today? We have the resources and manpower to end homelessness, to adopt every orphan in the country, and to reach every unreached people group on earth. But we are so unloving that we'd rather have a bigger building and more expensive worship equipment and better speakers. God calls us to die to ourselves and give Him complete control over our lives. But we're too busy trying to find where we draw the line to check the minimum boxes to get into heaven. Don't forget to LIKE and SUBSCRIBE! When governments fail to create effective laws and policies, when politicians serve their own interests over the nation's long-term needs, and when these policies inevitably result in inflation, increases in crime, abortion, and distrust of institutions, how are Christians supposed to respond? Abortion is the leading cause of death in America. And in some of America's major cities, minority babies are actually more likely to be killed through abortion than to be born. So how do we put an end to this injustice? In this episode of Millennial God, Scott Hord and I sit down to talk about the incredible work that he is doing with Operation Saving Life. Every single day Scott stands outside of the Planned Parenthood in Nashville to tell young mothers the truth about abortion and the truth of Jesus Christ. But he does more than just talk. Scott also actively assists in finding resources for young mothers to prevent them from having a need for an abortion, he finds safe homes for children that he saves that need an adoption, and ultimately he's willing to sacrifice whatever it takes to save the lives of babies in the womb. Scott also provides some great insight on how Christians can get started in pro-life ministry, some common misconceptions about abortion and how to combat those misconceptions, and how we can start to push back nationally against rhetoric and propaganda that is leading our culture astray. As you listen to this episode, ask yourself if your church is really living out the gospel. Does your church produce fruitfulness and is it willing to sacrifice whatever it takes to care for the least of these in your community? If not, then you should probably reconsider how you are approaching church. It's time for Christians to rise up and stand against the evil that exists in our nation. Did Jesus follow all of the Old Testament commands? And if He did, then why aren't we following them? In this episode, Sam and I discuss whether or not followers of Christ should adhere to OT laws, as well as some common misconceptions about them. The only laws that Jesus rebuked or didn't follow were ones created by the religious leaders at the time, not the Old Testament commands themselves. The Sabbath is a great example of this. Based on the Old Testament, not taking a Sabbath day is punishable by death. But Jesus healed the sick and harvested grain on the Sabbath, both of which were illegal under Pharisee laws but not illegal under Old Testament laws. Since Jesus was God and he also lived a perfect life, wouldn't it make sense that we would live in accordance with God's law and based on Christ's example? Personally, I think I'm still discerning this concept. But I certainly don't think that it's impossible that generations of churches have trended away from God's intent and focused solely on what sounds good to them. So perhaps our cultural teachings are superseding that of God's? Whichever side you fall on, take a listen and let us know what you think in the comments below! Do good people go to heaven? What does it even mean to be "good" and who decides it? Most people like to believe that all good people go to heaven or that they'll go to heaven as long as they do more good than bad. But that is one of the greatest lies in our society today. If you have ever done anything wrong in your life (and we all have), then you are not a good person. Just like in a court of law, God judges us not on our good deeds, but on the laws that we have broken. We are all guilty and fall short of the glory of God. But thankfully, God sent Jesus as a sacrifice for the punishment that we all deserve. When we accept Christ as our king, it is now longer we who live but Christ who lives in us. Don't let your friends and family believe the lie that simply being a good person will get you into heaven. Instead, share the truth of Jesus Christ. Don't forget to hit SUBSCRIBE! Who is Jesus? This is a quick, very short summary of who Jesus is and why you should follow Him. This video is meant for you to be able to share with friends who are curious about Christianity. After God created man, He established right and wrong. Mankind always falls short of God's intent for humanity. Because of that, we create a separation between us and God. Before Jesus came, people would have to sacrifice something in order to close that gap. But, as prophets in the Old Testament predicted, Jesus was miraculously born of a virgin and came to Earth as the son of God. While on Earth, he performed a number of miracles and fulfilled the prophecies by living a perfect life, dying on the cross as a sacrifice for everything we've done wrong, and then rising from the dead three days later to prove His authority over Heaven and Earth. Wow what a year it has been already. But as bad as 2021 may seem, THERE. IS. HOPE. And that hope is in Jesus. In order to change the political and social divisions in our country, we must first change our culture. And that cannot be accomplished unless the American Christian church takes action by fulfilling its biblical intent. Churches were not meant to be places for people to simply gather and hear a message of morality. They are meant to equip disciples to go out into the world, to share the gospel, and to serve their communities. In Part 1 of our "How to Share the Gospel" series, we go through the biblical reasons and examples of telling people about Jesus through testimony.
