It was created by gay rights activists in Australia who seceded on the basis of the country's refusal to recognize marriage equality. They did so under the Law of Unjust Enrichment and did so until the government recognized their right to be married. As an American it sounds impossible to secede without a military invasion; The Kingdom declared "war" on Australia, yet no one was hurt or killed. Amazing! Thanks so much and remember: We Love You!

We also take time to thank our fallen heroes, including our Great-Uncle Leslie Hobson who gave his life in The Battle of the Bulge, an infamous and deadly last-ditch offensive by Nazi Germany. In a different light, we would like this day to also be known for The Memorial Day Homophobe Homicides. One year ago this day, a masked assailant opened fire within a house party that included several homosexual and transgender people.
