Is this the deadliest teaching in human history? An encore presentation of our most-listened-to episode ever — and maybe our most powerful. And honestly? It feels even more urgent now than when we first released it.In this episode, we unpack one of the most destructive ideas humanity has ever embraced — a belief system at the root of division, oppression, shame, and violence for centuries. It has fueled the mistreatment of ethnic groups, religious minorities, women, LGBTQ people, and so many others. And right now, it's everywhere again. What is this teaching? How does it still shape our world? And how do we break free from it?This conversation matters.Send us a private message. *Note: INCLUDE YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS if you'd like us to answer. :-) Support the show
Hei og hopp, vi er antipridestopp! Det er juni – selveste Pride-måneden!
We've walked through the theology, the scripture, the Greek and Hebrew — but today we're doing something refreshingly simple: Common sense. We explore the everyday wisdom that makes it absolutely clear: being LGBTQ — and loving who you love — is not sinful. Not even close. No clobber passages. No theological gymnastics. Just real life, real love, and real clarity. We break down:
This week we begin with a powerful piece from Bobbi Pickard of Trans in the City, exploring the rising tide of hostility against the trans community. Despite thousands of years of known trans existence, the UK and much of the world has turned against trans people—mirroring the tactics of the 1930s Nazis, who targeted a minority that couldn't fight back. Now, the same deflection is happening again. We discuss the new EHRC guidance issued on 21st May, reinterpreting single-sex spaces following a 2025 Supreme Court ruling that decided—without evidence from biologists or the trans community—that for the purposes of the Equalities Act, there are only two sexes. (Originally withdrawn as illegal, the guidance has now been reissued.) We trace how, as we entered the 2020s, politicians began weaponising hatred against trans folk. Before this, trans people lived their lives without issue—no attacks in ladies' loos or single‑sex spaces, welcomed in the WI and Girlguides, now banned. There is no choice in being born with gender dysphoria; you deal with it as best you can. Loving and supporting a child to grow as themselves should be the right thing, yet now the suicide rate among trans people is rising, and mental health struggles form as young trans people navigate a world that hates them for reasons they don't understand. Imagine having the body opposite to what you know you are.Biology tells us that human makeup is not binary—like the stars, we have limitless variations. Intersex people are said to be as common as redheads, yet politicians in many countries have thrown them under the bus just to get at trans folk, especially trans women. Before European colonisers imposed their beliefs, indigenous peoples acknowledged a third gender. In the Americas, Two‑Spirit people were cherished as very special. Then we have the Shea Coffey break, followed by our Eurovision round‑up with Martin Spellacey. Join us for an episode that challenges, informs, and stands with the trans community.
Religion is wrong, you are not broken. You are beloved. A viral meme claimed your smallest sin is “infinitely offensive” to a holy God — but don't worry, Jesus covers you. We're calling that what it is: spiritual shame dressed up as devotion. In this episode, we dismantle the idea that you're a cosmic disappointment and reclaim a deeper truth:You were never vile. You were never a liability. You are already beloved. The truth is, when God looks at you, when God sees you, you are perfect.Send us a private message. *Note: INCLUDE YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS if you'd like us to answer. :-) Support the show
A real INFJ mode episode .. do we stop ourselves from growing because we don't want the live someone else expects us to live? Can I have my work touch more people without destruction of the enviroment?
Background to the Poem and Poet that stage managed Hitler into being“Dietrich Eckart wrote a poem that referred to a "Great One" or "Nameless One," expressing his belief in a coming "German Messiah" who would redeem the nation. ““Dietrich Eckart, a significant figure in the early Nazi movement, wrote a poem that expressed his anticipation of a "German Messiah." This poem, composed months before he met Adolf Hitler, referred to a "Great One" or "Nameless One," indicating Eckart's belief in a savior who would redeem Germany from its post-World War I struggles.”“Eckart's belief in a coming savior led him to view Hitler as the embodiment of this prophesied figure. He recognized Hitler's potential as a leader and demagogue, which significantly influenced Hitler's rise within the German Workers' Party and later the National Socialist German Workers' Party (NSDAP).Eckart's mentorship and support were crucial in shaping Hitler's political identity and oratory skills, ultimately contributing to the establishment of the Nazi regime.”“Dietrich Eckart's poem about the "Great One" reflects themes of nationalism, antisemitism, and the idea of a messianic leader for the German people, aligning with his broader political and ideological views. His adaptation of Henrik Ibsen's "Peer Gynt" also incorporated these themes, portraying the protagonist as a superior Germanic hero battling against implicitly Jewish "trolls."”It takes a group of people desperate for position and proximity to power to create hell … Hitlers Inner Circle (posted from DUCKDUCK)Key Figures in Hitler's Inner CircleAdolf Hitler's inner circle consisted of influential leaders who played significant roles in the Nazi regime. Here are some of the most notable members:1. Hermann Göring Position: Commander-in-Chief of the Luftwaffe and Reichsmarschall. Roles: Controlled all media and public information, known for his powerful speeches that mobilized the German populace. 3. Martin Bormann Position: Head of the Nazi Party Chancellery. Roles: Hitler's personal secretary, controlled access to Hitler and all information flow, had significant influence over domestic policies. 4. Klær og stil kommuniserer mer enn mange kanskje tror og tenker over, men mange skeive, særlig kjønnsskeive, har et veldig bevisst forhold til hvordan utseende påvirker hvordan vi blir oppfattet og behandlet av menneskene rundt oss. Headlines:“Silencing Dissent”: Protest Crackdowns Spark Civil Liberties AlarmHealth Students Forced to Work for Free as Cost-of-Living Crisis Continues to BitGrassroots Organising Surges as Renewable Energy Network Launches Segments:- Last week it was revealed that the federal government had formed a taskforce known as the 'razor gang', tasked with cutting the NDIS to make it more 'sustainable' ahead of the May budget. The revelation attracted scrutiny from independent MPs in the halls of parliament, but as usual much of the reporting - and potentially even the budget consultations themselves - failed to elevate disabled voices. As such, the Monday breakfast show was joined by Zoe Simmons, a journalist and disability advocate to talk about the razor gang and accessing the NDIS. - An excerpt of a conversation between Out Of The Pan's Sally Goldner and Bonnie Hart, a longtime intersex advocate and peer support worker. The pair talk about the legislation passed in Victoria banning medical intervention on children born with variations in sex characteristics. We did have a conversation with Dr Sean Mulcahy from Equality Australia about this legislation, however the legislation is so hugely important for people born with sex characteristics that we feel it is worth playing a separate interview on this. You can listen to more from Sally on Sundays from 12 -1PM, or at 3cr.org.au/outofthepan. - A story reported by Tessa Campisi from Friends of the Earth. Community members were able to successfully stop work for three days last week, and over 1300 people contacted decision makers to condemn the clearing of the Mt Macedon Snow Gums.Nonetheless, in a tragic escalation of events, an exclusion zone was enforced around the cross, and on Saturday morning the trees were felled. Devastated community members held a vigil for the snow gums on Sunday, and continue to condemn the actions of Parks Victoria and the Memorial Cross Committee. - Kaye shares with Amy Ciara their journey within a variety of different circumstances with; homelessness; gender identity with DID; finding community and more. In this no-holds-barred episode, I'm going scorched earth on the so-called “intersex activists” who love gatekeeping actual DSD conditions. I have Kallmann syndrome — a legitimate Disorder of Sex Development — and these hypocrites are out here claiming PCOS is intersex while denying mine. They attack my modeling photos, call me a man, and use the exact same toxic playbook they accuse trans activists of using. It's 2026, not 2006. Time to update your knowledge or sit the fuck down. If you're tired of the hypocrisy, gatekeeping, and double standards in the intersex community, this episode is for you. Raw. Real. No filter. Drop a comment and let me know if you've experienced this bullshit too. Send us Fan MailState laws across the country, and now even federal policies, increasingly target transgender people and LGBTQ people more broadly. Lifesaving, necessary gender-affirming care is being restricted or criminalized. Discriminatory policies and legislation, such as proper identity document bans, restrictions on participation in sports, and “sex definition” laws that police public restrooms, are attacking people in their day-to-day lives. What people may not realize, is that every one of these laws and policies affects intersex people, too, and that is why organizations like interACT are so important. From education to support, interACT is working to affirm trans and intersex folks in the fight to access lifesaving, necessary care. Today In the Den, we'll cover some important basic information that will explain intersex conditions, and we'll talk about how we can better support and affirm the intersex folks in our lives and in our country.Special Guest: Bria Brown-KingBria Brown-King (They/She) is a Black, queer, non-binary, and intersex person. Bria is the Associate Executive Director at interACT: Advocates for Intersex Youth. Bria got their start in intersex advocacy in 2018 as an interACT Youth Advocate. In 2019, they became the first openly intersex person to speak about intersex issues on the steps of the Supreme Court. In their current role, Bria facilitates education on intersex issues, works to close the gap in intersex-affirming research and data collection, and serves on multiple advisory boards, representing intersex people nationally and internationally.Special Guest: Dr. Bonnie ScrantonDr. Scraton is a licensed clinical social worker, AASECT-certified sex therapist and sexual health educator, and an assistant professor of social work at Central Connecticut State University. She maintains a private practice and serves on a multidisciplinary team at Connecticut Children's Medical Center, where she supports children with variations in sex characteristics and their families. Motivated by both her clinical work and her lived experience as the parent of a child with an intersex variation, Bonnie's doctoral research at the University of Pennsylvania resulted in the development of Project LISTEN, a peer support and empowerment program for parents newly learning about their child's variation. The program is designed to provide information, connection, and support for parents and caregivers, helping families ensure children grow up with agency and ownership over their bodies and medical decisions.Links from the Show:Find the interACT website hereIntersex Definitions hereIntersex FAQ hereJoin Mama Dragons todayIn the Den is made possible by generous donors like you. We've been told for years: be the resistance. But what if that's why so many people fighting for love and inclusion feel exhausted?Inspired by a talk from Glennon Doyle, this episode flips the whole idea:We are not the resistance. We are the river. The current of belonging has always been moving — widening across history no matter who tried to stop it. Our role isn't just to argue or brace against the world… it's to step into that flow, find our place in it, and live the kind of life that invites others into the water too.Joy isn't a distraction from advocacy. It's one of its most powerful tools.Because fear can demand compliance — but only love creates movement.Send us a private message. *Note: INCLUDE YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS if you'd like us to answer. :-) Support the show
One of the key ways we look at how we take care of each other is in infant mortality rates … they are increasing in Cuba because of your vote. 72% of White Christians voting for this global suffering. I ask you on Easter Sunday to justify this for yourselves. To sit in reflection of the state of the world because of what you voted for…
It's not about having military bases around the globe to facilitate war.. it was formed to prevent war and forge unity.

People can't give what they don't have, and many people simply don't have approval to give. But remember, this has nothing to do with you. When faced with the rejection and disapproval of others, it's important to separate your well-being from someone else's approval. It's just their opinion, and it doesn't have to mean anything to you. It's not about your worth in any way whatsoever, it is about but their lack of approval, and the fears and false teachings that fuel that. How can we break free from the approval of others?Send us a private message. *Note: INCLUDE YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS if you'd like us to answer. :-) Support the show
Writer Róisín Michaux investigates women's rights and free speech in the context of the transgender movement. Róisín brings a uniquely European lens to her research, exposing how LGBTIQ activist organizations in Europe are heavily state-funded — unlike the U.S., where private foundations like the Rockefellers and Ford Foundation dominate — and how this funding pipeline has turbocharged some of the most extreme gender ideology we're seeing today. We dig deep into intersex activism: what it actually is, who's behind it, and why it matters for parents navigating the gender craze with their children. Róisín explains the crucial distinction between people with genuine disorders of sexual development (DSDs) — rare, named medical conditions like congenital adrenal hyperplasia (CAH), Turner syndrome, and complete androgen insensitivity syndrome (CAIS) — and the largely queer-theory-driven "intersex identity" movement that has very little to do with medicine and everything to do with dismantling the sex binary. We also explore the history of brain sex research, how trans activists strategically abandoned the science when it stopped serving them, and how self-ID legislation spread from Argentina to across Europe through incremental legal maneuvers. I close with an important note for parents: understanding the politics of intersex activism is valuable, but knowing how to actually talk to your child about these issues is a different skill altogether — one I teach in ROGD Repair.Róisín Michaux is an Irish writer based in Brussels, Belgium. She writes about women's rights and free speech in the context of the transgender movement. She is specifically interested in LGBTIQ activism, activists' relationship to EU/European bureaucracies, the funding they receive, and how it has all led to deep and anti-democratic policy capture. Loving queer kids today requires honesty: they are growing up in a world that actively questions their right to exist, to be safe, and to belong. In this episode, we speak plainly to parents, caregivers, and allies about what LGBTQ+ kids need — not someday, but right now — in a cultural and political climate that is increasingly hostile. We confront the real harm caused by silence and “good intentions,” challenge adults to move beyond private support into public protection, and name advocacy as a non-negotiable part of love. This episode is a call to action for anyone who claims to care about queer kids.Because love that doesn't protect is not love — it's abandonment.Send us a private message. *Note: INCLUDE YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS if you'd like us to answer. :-) Support the show

“We can disagree and still love each other” is often framed as maturity or respect — but what happens when that disagreement puts real people at risk? In this episode, we confront how “just disagreeing” about LGBTQ+ lives, identities, and inclusion stops being neutral and starts becoming dangerous. We examine the real-world consequences of polite harm, the myth of neutrality, and the cost of silence when injustice is dressed up as belief or civility. Tomás Bogardus joins to discuss his book "The Nature of the Sexes" and argues for a reproductive-functional account of biological sex. According to Bogardus, males and females are defined by the reproductive function their bodies are structured to perform: producing sperm or eggs. Even when that function is not realized and no sperm or eggs are produced, a person's sex remains the same, because it is grounded in biological organization. To defend this view, Bogardus considers intersex and DSD cases, critiques contextualist accounts that treat sex as domain-dependent, and argues for a unified meaning of “male” and “female.” The conversation later turns to whether sex is essential or changeable, as well as debates about pronouns, sports, and medical interventions for minors.[00:00] Introduction to the Debate on Sex[00:23] The Delivery Room Thought Experiment: "It's a Boy/Girl"[02:04] Sex as Reproductive Function[07:41 ]Gametes, Competitor Theories, and the Non-Producers Objection[11:29] Intersex & DSD Cases[19:23] Contextualism and Cluster Concepts: Sex in Sports, Bathrooms, Dating?[26:23] Conjunction Reduction & Animal Examples: Rooster vs Crocodile[30:24] One Unified Meaning of Sex Terms[32:06] Are ‘Man' and ‘Woman' Social Roles or Biological Sexes?[37:15] Is Sex Essential or Contingent? Valentine's Day can be beautiful for some — and deeply complicated for others. In this episode, we make space for those who feel unseen, pressured, or left out by traditional narratives of love.We explore why romantic love is often treated as the ultimate measure of worth, how that harms LGBTQ+ people and their families, and what it means to reclaim a broader, more honest definition of love. This is an invitation to opt out of shame, redefine belonging, and remember that your life, your timing, and your way of loving are already enough.Because love was never meant to be narrow — it was meant to make room.Send us a private message. *Note: INCLUDE YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS if you'd like us to answer. :-) Support the show

It isn't historical. And it isn't truth. In today's episode, we expose the lie and shatter the myth of “traditional marriage” and the fantasy of the "perfect" family — replacing it with what Scripture actually reveals: love, covenant, justice, and grace.Beloved, this truth belongs to you!Send us a private message. *Note: INCLUDE YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS if you'd like us to answer. :-) Support the show

You've heard it repeated by nonaffirming Christians and right-wing politicians: “traditional values.”But listen closely — and notice what's missing.Honesty. Fidelity. Compassion. Justice. Kindness. So what are “traditional values,” really? Whose tradition are we talking about? From which era? From which culture? From which Bible — and whose Christianity? In this episode, we expose the myth of “traditional values,” how the phrase became a political weapon instead of a moral compass, and what real, Jesus-shaped values actually demand of us.Send us a private message. *Note: INCLUDE YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS if you'd like us to answer. :-) Support the show

Was Jesus kind of a stand-up comedian?I mean think about it... A priest, a rabbi, and Jesus walked into a bar. Only Jesus recognized the setup for a joke. I never really thought about Jesus being funny or not. I mean, we've heard the stories 1000 times and... I usually smile at the funnier parts, but I never exactly said, Jesus is really funny! Then I found a little book that really opened my eyes.I will share that with you today as we talk about how funny, profoundly funny, Jesus was. We sure could use a few laughs right now.Send us a private message. *Note: INCLUDE YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS if you'd like us to answer. :-) Support the show
This episode is different. It's sacred. The Transgender Day of Remembrance is a day to honor and remember the transgender people whose lives were stolen by violence, hatred, and neglect. We wish we didn't need a day like this. We wish the world were already safe and affirming for our trans family and friends. But the reality is, many lives are lost each year—and too often, those lives are ignored, erased, or dismissed. So today, we stop. We pause. We remember. We honor. You are talking about this and then it happens: someone pulls out a Bible verse and declares that God is against transgender people. You've heard it from pulpits, from politicians, maybe from your own family. But, Beloved, here's the truth: the Bible does NOT say what these people claim it does. In fact, what the Bible does say about this is actually fully affirming! So today, we dig in and set the record straight about what the Bible doesn't say, what it does say, and why this matters so much right now!Send us a private message. *Note: INCLUDE YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS if you'd like us to answer. :-) Support the show
Politicians and pundits have made trans rights one of their top wedge issues. They stir up outrage, and push legislation designed to divide, distract, and control. We've all seen it: bills banning gender-affirming care, bathroom access, policing pronouns, especially in state legislations. Leaders pushing them claim it's about “protecting children” or “upholding values.” But, it's not! This is about consolidating power through fear. And while trans people feel the sting of this, the harm doesn't stop with them. It ripples outward, touching every one of us.Because when anti-trans rhetoric spreads, it erodes compassion, truth, and freedom—for everyone.Send us a private message. *Note: INCLUDE YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS if you'd like us to answer. :-) Support the show
Let's talk about God! Our favorite subject… Or is it?? It would be—or could be—if we hadn't been lied to about God. Well, our job at FreedHearts is to make you feel better about God — or have no feelings about God, that's fine. But what we DON'T want is for you to have bad feelings about God because they're usually connected to bad feelings about yourself – and none of that is true! Today we tell you a story as a contrast to God—about Alfred Hitchcock. Hitchcock is known as the Master of Suspense. Just in time for Halloween! This is going to be fun!Send us a private message. *Note: INCLUDE YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS if you'd like us to answer. :-) Support the show
Jesus' message was clear: the kingdom of God is here and now. His anger burned toward those in power who oppressed the vulnerable. His focus was justice, compassion, and service — NOT personal salvation formulas.Yet so much of today's theology on LGBTQ issues, sin, salvation, and authority doesn't come from Jesus at all — it comes from Paul.So we ask: are Christians really following Paul instead of Jesus?Send us a private message. *Note: INCLUDE YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS if you'd like us to answer. :-) Support the show
Today's episode is a heartfelt message to non-affirming Christians — or one you can share with them. It's a message of hope and courage: you do NOT need to be afraid to support LGBTQ+ people and same-sex relationships.Yes, the climate feels hostile. Yes, fear is loud. But truth is louder. Prejudice is crumbling. Walls are falling. Pastors are rethinking long-held beliefs. Parents are choosing their child over false doctrine. This is what faith is meant to be. Not about fear. Not about control. But about love — radical, unstoppable love.Send us a private message. *Note: INCLUDE YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS if you'd like us to answer. :-) Support the show
