Nature can be breathtakingly beautiful. It can also be absolutely terrifying and powerful. A shifter Druid covered in Spores answers only to a hag deep in the woods. They are searching for something but with no memory of their previous life they struggle to remember exactly what it was.

Nate is inspired by the types of characters he hates this week and that is the crazy religious person you just want to die in every horror movie almost ever. Bringing the Psycho background and Cleric class Nate and Jake come together to create a terrifyingly intellectual character.

Nate and Jake cross another class of their list of min/maxed classes with a Cleric. This Cleric is a spirit medium that learned the hard way that some myths can be true.

This weeks' episode comes with a special guest! Liz joins us and despite the fact that she has never played D&D before she does an excellent job at creating our first Spo0o0ky character!

Nate and Jake create a min/maxed Bard as they make their way down the class list. This bard has excellent Charisma (as they should) and utilizes it to read people their fortunes. Be sure to check it out if you want a character with good stats and an even better backstory.

“And I guarantee to you that without a penny's charge I will give you a closest shave you'll ever get.” We created a barber this week that doesn't think the world is quite as vile as Sweeney Todd does but that doesn't mean he's afraid to get his hands a little dirty.

Jake wanted to see what would happen if we tried to create a min/maxed character within our patented (pending) character creating system. What we got was pure, unadulterated, uncontrollable, chaos.

Nate and Jake explore what it would be like to be a garden gnome that has gained consciousness. Will they accept the idea that a God could have brought them to life or will they be egotistical and believe it was their own skills that brought them back?

We were all put here for a reason. Some of us were put here too, I don't know, create podcasts. Others were created to stop a rival from summoning an evil deity. Both are necessary to save the world, right?

Being the offspring of a war deity can be a lot to live up to; especially when you don't live up to expectations during training and your deity parent leaves which leads you to believe it's all your fault that they're gone. Not that anything within this episode pertains to that situation at all…or does it?

Have you ever found yourself in so deep with a cult that you murder an old friend? Yeah, neither have we, but this character has! Tune in to find out how that event affects our character.

Separated from a childhood friend this character will stop at nothing to not only learn a craft that is forbidden to them…but become a master of it. This character harbors resentment and carries around a dark gift that they don't understand but also embrace.

Nate takes something from the Players Handbook, Tasha's Cauldron, and the Guide the Ravenloft to create a pirate that has a fate worse than Jack Sparrow himself. The mists keep following our character causing havoc wherever they end up and they must be stopped.

You think Oedipus had mommy issues? Well, wait until you meet Cullen who will do whatever it takes to emulate their heroic mother. We promise this relationship isn't as…blinding.

Are you tired of running from the unknown? Ready to face your problems head on for the betterment of your tribe? Yeah, we aren’t either, but this character sure is! Quinog is a Tortle Fighter who is bound and determined to make sure his tribe never has to uproot themselves again.

“Let’s see here. What have we used the least?” That was what Jake was thinking when he sat down to create the foundation for this character. Bringing the Gnome race, a motivation, and a 3-way tie for our least utilized class Nate and Jake create a cool character using elements from the land of misfit characteristics.

Nate randomizes a background to drive this goblin forward! We end up creating an interesting goblin that is trying to remember the greatest song in the world! It may not be the greatest song in the world...it may just be a tribute.

Drawing inspiration from Critical Role Jake brought the Warforged race to the table this week; add in the ‘Lone Survivor’ background (and a potentially inappropriate item) and you get Birch! Check it out and let us know what you think!

Aarakocra, ar-ah-KOH-krah, arrr-haaa-KOUH-kra? Don’t worry we’ll figure out how to pronounce it by the end of this episode. After making so many boring Humans, Jake brings an Arakocra as the race, which is a Bird Person! Yup, with wings. Check it out!

Nate and Jake are back in their own homes and they basically forgot how to podcast. Nate nabs some quick characteristics inspired by a voice he thinks he can pull off and it ends up being a fun character to play.

We’ll put a spell on you and you’ll be ours...and Shadin’s cause she’s a witch. She taught us how to cast the spell and how to stay out of the Shadowfell. This character is extra Spo0o0ky and ends up making Nate very uncomfortable.

On the surface Calen is as spo0o0ky as they come but on the inside is a loving, caring, empathetic, and still spo0o0ky person. Calen’s experiences have led him to a more understanding place and he is trying to help anyone else get there as well. Tune in to learn about Calen’s past!

What is one more lie amongst friends? Sure that’s 3 weeks in a row, but who’s counting? Now, for real, we have made all of the classes. This Paladin though isn’t meant to be like others, he’s a bit more devilish.

Well, we lied! We hope you forgive us since it was completely unintentional but now we have officially created one of each class! Enjoy our first special October episode! It is sure to be spo0o0oky.

We have finally created one of every class! At least...we hope we have at this point! Jake creates a Sorcerer and rolls on a handful of important characteristics. It’s always interesting to learn how a Sorcerer came to have their magic abilities so give this episode a listen if you want to hear our first take on it!

Nate brings in the bare minimum and is motivated by the launch of our Patreon to make a Warlock with a Patron (See what he did there?). It’s a little bumpy but once they get going and start finding inspiration this character really takes off and comes to life!

In actual campaigns, Jake mostly (always) plays a Cleric. He likes to challenge the stereotypes of D&D by being the lawful good character in the group. But, this week’s Cleric isn’t like other Clerics. Benoit wasn’t born in the church and isn’t exactly good either.
