We got Aj Dube back on this episode, from the great state of Montana. We throw some shade at the "ultralight" hunting crowd some. Aj recently did a weight loss journey and speaks on how some hunters should focus more other own body weight and not how much their gear weighs, which is pretty important. Hopefully we don't "trigger" too many listeners on this episode.Opening clip credit: Tiger King

On this episode I call Rudy Peralez. Rudy has a youtube channel called Texas Coastal Outdoors. Where he shares his adventures here in the piney woods of southeast Texas. I would consider him in the the higher category of hunter for this area. Rudy breaks the same routine that most do down here, with great success so far. For anyone hunting this region, I would highly suggest you tune in this episode.link to Rudy's channel: https://youtu.be/elsUPOIcJvcmovie clip credit: Waterboy (1998)message me on instagram: @tx_publicland_hntrEtsy store: busy little bee company
It has been a while! On this episode I phone in the ginga ninja from New York state. He shares his insight on being a new hunter and the challenges of learning as you go. What you see on instagram and the hunting shows is not always like real life. Hunting public land and being limited by your time. Puts you in direct competition with all the other hunters. He is a funny light heart guy, and I hope everyone enjoys thus episode.Go check out my wife's store of Etsy: Busy Little Bee Company for those last minute gifts Movie clip credit: My Cousin Vinny (1992)messege me on Instagram @tx_publicland_hntr
I put a call out on Facebook for some public land killers, and I found some. I am joined by Dylan and Paul on this episode. Dylan was not short of hunting stories and Paul was able to give perspective from a Waterfowler also from hunting in California. This episode went well and I for sure made some new friends. Im always up for chatting with more local public land hunters, so if you would like to be on the podcast send me a message! As always share with your friends and if you would like leave us a review Message me on Instagram: @tx_publicland_hntr Movie Clip Credit: Super Troopers (2001)
We have deer on the ground folks! Trey and I managed to both harvest deer in the same weekend. We review the stories and discuss what tactics were used and how to try to be repeatable. We finally hit 10 episodes y'all! On this episode I have a lengthy chat with AJ Dube. Born and raised in Montana, AJ has hunted just about all over the state. He was able to capitalize on a fine bull elk this last September with his longbow after struggling in previous seasons. This is a super long one but a good one. As always I hope y'all enjoy this episode as much as I enjoyed recording it. If you like the show feel free to leave us a review, and also tell your friends about us.Message me on Instagram @tx_publicland_hntrMovie Clip Credit: Without a paddle (2004)
On this episode of Texas Public Land Hunter, I call Ryan a frequent flyer on The Deerhunter Podcast. We had a great time swapping hunting stories and comparing Michigan hunting to hunting in Texas. We sprinkle in some of our shared experiences working in the trade industry, since Ryan is also a Union Pipefitter. This is a long one but a good one. Hope y'all enjoy this episode as much as I did recording it. In this episode, I discuss with my buddy Daniel mostly about what I would call the "private land hustle" and some gear choices we prefer. Finding private land to hunt on is something Daniel does very well. Working with show cattle his whole life has made it easy to find many connections with people who already have land which comes in handy. Hope y'all enjoy the episode, as always share with your friends and subscribe to the channel. We will be doing koozie giveaway for one lucky listener. To be entered in the contest like me on Instagram TX_PUBLICLAND_HNTR, comment and tag a friend on the koozie photo. Photo will be posted 9/9/19, contest will end 9/14/19 and winner will be announced 9/16/19.If there are any topics you would like me to discuss or questions please don't hesitate to send me a message on Instagram! I'd love any and all feedback!Movie Clip: Tombstone (1993)

This is part one of The Process series we will continue throughout our upcoming deer season. Harry is joined by Lonnie and Trey hot off the heels of a solid scouting "adventure" they got on good sign and what they feel like is buck bedding Harry is also finding good bedding areas. we discuss tactics and gear to approach these areas along with some good stories this one runs long and the beer begins to kick in and we go off the rails a little bit, this will be the last podcast we will record straight to an iPad the audio is rough we going get the correct equipment moving forward on the next episodes so bare with us and hope everyone enjoys it and thank you for the support
Trey and Harry talk about some of the gear they are using and the gear they hope to get to help improve their mobile hunting in the piney woods. Trey describes how being new to mobile hunting has its challenges and having a rough observation sit the previous day in the 100 degree heat. Also we a have a lust about getting tree saddles. Audio may be rough we had sirens and lawnmowers going, typical Sunday afternoon in town here.
Harry and Trey meet up in the garage with couple beers and talk public land deer hunting in the great state of Texas.
