To be self-aware is a gift that keeps on giving! Knowing how to correct the narrative you're creating in your mind about yourself and why it's so important is necessary for success. Start with convincing yourself first about the things you know to be true about your future and you will find yourself in the face of that very thing that you were hoping to manifest sooner than later. Focus on selling yourself all the highs in your story three times as much you do the lows. You create the narrative, make it great! Self-confidence will make or break you when you're striving to achieve your goals. Struggling with imposter syndrome has become a routine thing for me and many others who are making progress in their lives. Out-of-body experiences aren't unheard of, you know, when you're standing there like is this really happening to me? Are they talking about me? I won? You know the feeling. Understanding that higher heights will require higher vibrations. You will be forced to show up in places that feel different, talk to people you never imagined you'd be talking to, and doing things that you don't exactly feel qualified to do even though you very well are. The things mentioned in this episode will allow you to vibrate higher and gain more confidence through small tactics. Take a listen! Increase your net worth by assessing your situation and creating new streams of income will save you! It's on us to make sure that we are securing the bag. In this episode, I start out reflecting on an article I read that I identified with so much that I had to share. Freelancing allows you to do odd jobs that come easy to you for pay. 3. Establishing an actual side hustle that you become known for and formally create a business entity. 4. Getting a new job could change the game significantly. A five-figure increase in your salary could go a long way. 5. Learn how to invest in the stock. A return is a return! There's so much to get into with this topic that I feel like this was just a tiny piece but I know it will bless someone. I challenge you to redefine what being a strong black woman means to you and own that. I also challenge you to review the burdens you choose to carry and why you are choosing to carry them. Is it from obligation or from being in your zone of genius? All of this stemmed from my epiphany caused by Erykah Badu's Bag Lady, equip yourself with a “bag of light”. There's power in your vulnerability, in your peace, and your stories. Take a listen as I review what's in my bag of light, why you need to take back your energy, and offer a series of stories that may hit home for you. This episode is where I set the scene for the WNBG podcast. Generally speaking, black women tend to carry heavy loads with minimal time to process it all. Here we will talk about not only processing everything but how to love on ourselves enough to get exactly what WE want out of this life. Throughout every obstacle I've ever encountered in life I've always had the question, "what's next?" come to mind. I like to call it my guiding light of some sort. I deal with whatever I need to deal with as far as my emotions, find some information that I can use to grow from it all, and I gather myself so that I can properly prepare for whatever is next for me. As you listen to the episodes of this, I will be sharing a lot of my story. I will bring guests on who you can learn from and will honor my wishes of total transparency. Learning from each other is a must here. I will also give you all of the strategies and inspiration that I use to stay on track with conquering my goals. To sum it all up I'm your sister who wants to see you shine bright and succeed in what's next for you. Follow me on IG: @whatsnext_blackgirl The blog can be found at www.wnbg.me
