Every month, on the 13th, Jason and Brenda take a look at two episodes of The X-Files, in order and discuss them while swearing and being immature.
Jason and Brenda doesn't expect perfection in every episode of The X-Files, but they certainly can do better than these two episode that are discussed this month. First, a quadriplegic solider can astral project himself for MURDER and a former kidnapped victim is mentally connected to a current kidnapped victim.Check out all of our podcasts on our home website www.rabbitholepodcasts.comSupport us by giving us a dollar! patreon.com/rabbitholepodsQuestions, comments, concerns? Jason and Brenda return for two CLASSIC, and we do actually mean CLASSIC, episodes of The X-Files! One which is the most '90s episode ever and the other a pretty damn well written episode but leave it to Brenda and Jason to find plot holes!Check out all of our podcasts on our home websitewww.rabbitholepodcasts.comSupport us by giving us a dollar!patreon.com/rabbitholepodsQuestions, comments, concerns? It's time for Season 3 of The X-Files, baby!! And...it's lackluster as hell. Listen as Brenda and Jason tell you why these two episode, plus the Season 2 finale should've been a movie. Also, they remember Scully has a sister, Mulder's mom gets bugged a lot, and Skinner gets in on the action...and loses. Womp womp. It's the end of the year which means it's time for Brenda and Jason to cover THREE episodes of The X-Files! The great Tony Shalhoub shows up as a man with a killer shadow! A town has a big but delicious secret! And of course ALIENS! MULDER PUNCHING SKINNER! LSD! MULDER IN HIS UNDERWEAR! KRYCEK! This episode has it all!!
Jason and Brenda are excited for these two episodes of The X-Files because things are just getting better and better!! There's a Romanian poltergeist, discussion about a certain symbol a certain group of German's misappropriated in WW2, Greyhound buses, boils and pus, and of course bugs. It's the most well rounded episode yet!
Jason and Brenda have returned, on Chris Carter's birthday nonetheless, to discuss two #spookyseason2k24 episodes of The X-Files! One episode involves Mulder and Scully stuck on a boat as age makeup is applied to them throughout the episode. And the other is a fan favorite including circus freaks doing weird stuff!
Jason and Brenda finish the second part of last month's cliffhanger episode of The X-Files, which features a lot of people kicking ass, getting their ass kicked, One Perfect Shot, and questions about alien bounty hunters. Then it's onto invisible animals and talking gorillas.
Jason isn't feeling himself in this episode due to being sick so he and Brenda rather quickly go through the next two episodes of The X-Files, one featuring voodoo and the other featuring alien clones and a bounty hunter. Also, Brenda does her world famous (?) Bupdate.
Jason and Brenda have their first guest!! Their pal Lackey wanted to come on to talk about "Die Hand Die Verletzt" because it's (one of) his favorite episodes!! But they have to get through "Irresistible" about a creepy guy going around killing young women. Also this weeks Bupdate TOTALLY HAPPENED!! 100%! FOR REAL!!!
Jason and Brenda are back for two more spooky episodes of The X-Files. First, we go to a old folks home where people are being attacked by invisible sources and maybe a generic Asian drug is to blame! Then Terry O'Quinn guest stars as an asshole detective who needs Mulder and Scully to help solve a rash of serial killings that look similar to ones that happened in the '40s! Also an epic Brenda Baseball Bupdate!
Jason and Brenda are back with two more episodes of The X-Files! First, we get an episode that's a remake of a crappy season 1 episode but more mildly better. Then we get a creepy mystery involving meat, cattle, and cults! Also, another Brenda Original Song!
Jason and Brenda would like you all to know that we affectionally call these episodes "Mulder Bangs A Vampire" and "Scully In A Coma". But so much more happens, and we mean SO MUCH MORE!! Also after the ending credits, stay tuned for some extra removed content, featuring an original song by Brenda!
Boom! Here we are! Two very important and great episodes of The X-Files!! Not only does Jason and Brenda obsess over Mulder's speedo, we question Mulder's hostage negotiation skills with crazed alien abudctor Duane Barry. Then we have to deal with the face Gillian Anderson got pregnant as Scully is captured and taken away to a mysterious place! OOH!! Also, Brenda is very excited about this months Baseball Bupdate. Something about see through pants and a dude getting signed to a team. She'll explain better than I can.
Jason and Brenda are back with two more episodes of The X-Files, one about LSD and the other featuring TONY MOTHERFUCKIN' TODD!!! And the introduction to a loathsome (to Brenda anyway) character!! And of course, Brenda's Baseball Bupdate!
Season 2 is here!! Jason and Brenda discuss the first two episodes of Season 2, where The X-Files is closed, Mulder is pissed off at Skinner, Scully is still a medical doctor, and we ponder if Mulder's sister was just in prison this whole time. Plus, Brenda's Baseball Bupdate is back!
It's the season 1 finale of The X-Files! Jason and Brenda cover the final three episodes of the season just to wrap it up nicely and boy does it show the more they go on. We have reincarnation, asshole smart guys controlling people from "beyond" and so much Deep Throat, you'll spit instead of swallow!! See you in January for Season 2!!
Welcome to the most ridiculous episode of FBI's Most Unwanted ever! Jason and Brenda go off topic so much about silly things but they do manage to discuss "Darkness Falls" about a bunch of bugs who cocoon humans and suck their blood deep in the forests of Washington state. And "Toom" which features the return of everyone favorite mutant who can squeeze into tight spaces and eat livers! And of course, there's a Brenda's Baseball Bupdate!
Sorry that this episode is late but it is here! Brenda and Jason have returned to discuss two rather great episodes of The X-Files! One having to do with a boy who's able to perform miracles and another about a manitou!! Plus more Brenda's Baseball Bupdates!
You want bupdates?! Brenda's got bupdates!! Then she and Jason discuss The X-Files episode "Young at Heart" where a murderer who died in prison seems to be back and is taunting Mulder and the episode "E.B.E", which according to Brenda is the most important X-Files episode to date!!
Jason and Brenda are back with two more episodes of The X-Files. And possibly the most "season filler" episodes to date. First is the awesome idea but poorly executed episode "Genderbender" about a person in a weird religious sect going around killing people with sex. Then another idea gone to waste with "Lazarus" about a criminal who possesses the dead body of a FBI agent who use to bang Scully. Also, Jason and Brenda get distracted by Juggs magazine. Jason and Brenda learn more than they ever wanted to learn about Mulder on this month as they discuss the episode "Fire" about a firestarter, a wicked firestarter, targeting members of the Parliament (of funk) and discover the phrase "Mulder's silky chest hair apparent". Then we get special guest star Brad Dourif in "Beyond the Sea" where Scully starts become a believer as she and Mulder hunt down a serial killer and need a prisoner on death row's help in tracking him down. And of course, there's a Brenda's Baseball Bupdate and lots of silly off-topic conversation to be had!
Yeah, sure, Jason and Brenda get to talk about two REALLY GREAT episodes of The X-Files, one of which inspired a teenager to start a band and write the biggest one-hit wonder of the 90s, but the most important thing to note about this episode is Brenda learns what a Zaddy is and how her brain just melts. The truth is out there.
Things Jason and Brenda discuss on this episode: Baseball (of course), Porky's penis, shitting in a box, late 70's TV shows, stopping school to see pop culture events, and Felicity Huffman. Things Jason and Brenda barely discuss: two episodes of The X-Files because they're really not that great.
Jason and Brenda are back to nitpick on some 90s tech and acting as they discuss episodes 6 and 7 of The X-Files. And as always, there is a Brenda's Baseball Bupdate!
Jason and Brenda open the basement door for another episode of your new favorite X-Files podcast. Episodes 4 and 5 of season 1 are discussed, where they talk about children, aliens, the town slut, Mulder fondling pictures, and a horny Scully. There's also a quick baseball/baseball hair update and a look into what Jason and Brenda will be up to in the future.
Episode 2 of the brand new podcast The FBI's Most Unwanted is here! Jason and Brenda discuss the next two episodes of The X-Files "Deep Throat" which gets us giggling, and then "Squeeze" which is a early fan favorite.
This episode was taken from another podcast, "The TV Transmissions" and will serve as our first episode of THIS new podcast, where Jason and Brenda will go through every episode of The X-Files, in order, and discuss them only they can! In this episode, everything is discussed from tight pants to baseball to if the FBI actually has a basement. Oh and the "pilot" episode of The X-Files.
