This week we're avoiding melanin-sucking albino vampires while we discuss “Teliko”! We're talking how “Deceive, Inveigle, Obfuscate” is never going to be a thing no matter how many times Howie tries to jam it into the episode, Scully going on a hot date with a dead man, racist panflute music (like, A Lot of it), our New Favorite Guy™ whose face is carved out of stone, Mulder being a serial mono-Secret Informantist, and how disappointing it is we missed our opportunity to have Scully fireman carry Mulder. We propose a hot new sitcom with all our favorite non-important tertiary characters, struggle to remember Marita's last name, try not to bully Howie too much, and enjoy an archetypal alleyway.Send us an email at scullynationpod@gmail.com or follow us on Twitter and Instagram!
African American men are disappearing and no one is sure what is happening to them until one of them turns up completely devoid of his skin pigmentation. Now Scully thinks there is a disease spreading and Mulder...thinks Mulder things.
It *might* be vampires, sort of...? After a black man is found dead with his skin turned white by what the CDC believes is an unknown pathogen, Scully is asked to look into it. Mulder joins Scully and begins to think there's no disease at all, but rather a monster from African folklore sucking the melanin out of its victims. Originally recorded on 06 March 2022.
