Spirits in Prison? Baptism that Saves? Have you ever wondered what all of these things mean? Quite possibly these are the topics that you have thought about but never really had a definitive answer. As many people look at 1 Peter 3:18-22 they often hear the many views that commentators have concerning this passage but very few people nail down exactly what is going through the mind of Peter and his audience, and so in this sermon we are going to take a look at what it would have been the foundation and context for Peter to reference these things that have puzzled us for many centuries in the church! We hope you enjoy this sermon and as always please LIKE, COMMENT, and SHARE this podcast with your friends and family!

Here it is Episode 9 “Faithful amid Persecution” In this episode we see how Jesus made it clear that those of the world will hate Christians because the world hates Christ. If Christians are like the world: vain, earthly, sensual, and given to pleasure, wealth, and ambition, the world would not oppose us. But Christians do not belong to the world, which is why the world engages in Christian persecution. Christians must learn to recognize the value of persecution and even to rejoice in it, not in an arrogant way but quietly and humbly because persecution has great spiritual value. Please LIKE, COMMENT, and SHARE with your friends and family and let us know your thoughts! Hope you enjoy and God Bless!!!
In this episode we focus on Hebrews 6, a passage that has brought about so much controversy of whether or not someone could lose their salvation! Here it is Episode 8 A Vote for the Government and the Church! In 30 minutes or less, we will be looking at what is perhaps the most misunderstood verse in the Bible.
What does it mean for a home to be gospel-centered? How involved should a parent be in the life of their children? Is it the church's or parent's responsibility to nurture and tend to the spiritual health of the children? In this episode we seek to answer, explain, and provide practical advice and counsel on the sensitive issue of parenting and growing a Christ-centered home in today's day and age.
On this episode of Truths Explained, we ask the questions: What is worship, and does it matter to God? Is all of it accepted by Him? In a practical manner, we seek to examine, answer, and explain the biblical model and teaching of worship as a God-given, God-ordained, God-centered gift, for His glory.
How intimate should we be with our church? Do we have the biblical view of the church as a family, both local and universal? Should we be completely transparent with those in our congregations concerning our personal matters and lives? In this episode we seek to faithfully answer and walk through these questions alongside other important matters concerning the body of Christ.
In our second episode, we look at the faith-healing movement in the midst of COVID-19, Coronavirus . In a time of a global pandemic, we ask where are those who profess the gift and ability to heal anyone, anywhere, and in any place? This ought to be a time for them to step forward and make the healing power of God known. In this episode, we examine the biblical teaching of (the end) of the Apostolic age and the cessation of the miraculous gifts and the motives, history, and manners of those in the faith-healing movement.
