I. The problem of those who fall away, v6. II. The description of those who fall away, vv4-6. III. The evidence and end of those who fall away, vv7-8
Let's Talk About The idea That Christians Who “WALK AWAY” From The Lord Can Lose Salvation First, no one under any circumstances who is saved can lose their salvation. That is a lie, and is a message presented only by deceivers. It is not walking away from the Lord because you stopped going to church. It is not walking away from the Lord because you have doubts. It is not walking away from the Lord because you have not prayed for 12 months. If you scroll from Genesis all the way through Revelation, here are words you will never find: “WALK AWAY FROM THE LORD”. YES, That makes for a great scary Sunday morning sermon to cause you to doubt and freak out that maybe you really are not saved, but it lacks any biblical truth. The closest we get to that is people who have heard the gospel, they tasted it, but they never actually received it. Meaning, it sounded really good, but they never truly believed it. They fell away from Grace because they never accepted it. And here's the news flash. Even if believers should choose to avoid going to church, reading their Bible, lifting up their prayers to God, etc., it is impossible to walk away from the Lord. The Spirit of Christ lives in you. He SWORE He will never leave you. So, if you're going to avoid reading the Bible, going to church, praying, etc. you're going to have to do it with Christ right there with you. Christ will let you choose to make bad decisions, but He will not let you walk away. No matter where you go, He will be there with you, training you, discipling you, building you up. And if it takes him your entire life, he's going to remain right there, and will always be fully invested in YOU.If you enjoyed this video be sure to like, share, and comment below God BlessLearn More at https://jesuswithoutreligion.com/christians-can-not-walk-away-from-the-lord/
Scripture both promises and warns about salvation. We can gain salvation but is it possible for one to lose salvation? In this week's study we go over God's will, the promise of salvation, and the sealing of salvation. Salvation can't be lost but one can miss it.

In these verses, Paul contrasts the false man-made and man-centred religion of man's achievement (salvation by good works in obedience to the Law) in v2-4, with the true God-centred religion of Divine initiative, grace and achievement (v5-6). In this context, circumcision represents embracing the Law as one's life and salvation, and Paul warns them that if they do that, Christ will profit them nothing, and that if they attempt to be justified by law, they will become estranged from Christ, and they will fall from grace. Thus if they choose the way of the law by cutting their flesh in circumcision, they will also be cutting themselves off from the grace of Christ. We discuss what this means. It certainly means that by trusting in the flesh, they will cut themselves off from the supply of God's sanctifying Spirit in their lives, leaving them to struggle on in the flesh, but is Paul also warning them that they could be cut off from Christ and lose their salvation? We discuss this controversial issue. Paul also points out that being circumcised obliges a man to keep the whole law, thus dooming him to the curse of the law (3:10). Then Paul contrasts this by describing God's way of grace (v5-6). First, the basis for our relationship (right-standing) with God is simply that we are 'in Christ.' He also describes the true Christian life in terms of faith, hope and love, which flourish by the Holy Spirit through our fellowship with God. Therefore externals rituals like circumcision are irrelevant both for our justification and for our sanctification.
