Jesus' teaching in Luke 6:37–38 may be one of the most misunderstood passages in the Bible. What does it really mean to "judge not"? Does Jesus forbid discernment? Why do we find it so easy to excuse our own failures while condemning the failures of others? In this message from our Kingdom Way series, we explore how judgment, condemnation, forgiveness, and generosity reveal the true condition of our hearts. Jesus exposes our tendency to demand mercy for ourselves while withholding it from everyone else—and then invites us into a radically different way of living. The Kingdom of God is built on mercy, forgiveness, and grace. The question is: will we live that way?
Judge Not?: Best Sermon Ever - Part 3 by
ontext: Exposing the "Buttercup" Church, False Teachers, and the Truth About Biblical LoveEver notice how modern Christianity has fabricated a version of "love" where no one ever gets corrected, disciplined, or told they're out of line?In this video, Coach Shelby sits down—just four weeks out from his shoulder surgery and wearing his protective weight-room strap—to deliver a hard-hitting message on spiritual authority and biblical boundaries. Digging into the scrolls of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd John, Coach tackles how the modern church has grown lazy because we rely too heavily on chapter and verse numbers instead of reading the Bible in its true, raw context.John wasn't writing a generic letter; he was dealing with an aggressive group of false teachers who were splitting the early church by claiming Jesus never actually came in a real "dirt suit." Coach exposes the danger of these ancient doctrines and shows how they've manifested today in a "syrupy sweet" theology that refuses to protect the flock. Just like a good coach has to be tough on his athletes because he loves them, leadership in the body of Christ demands clear correction. We are commanded to guard our pulpits, our small groups, and even our homes from those who reject sound doctrine. It's time to stop letting the world dictate our standards, test the fruit of those who claim to lead, and step up to our spiritual responsibilities.Classroom Highlights:The Post-Surgery Reality: Why Coach is wearing his protective gear in the gym and the aggressive handshake that forced him to keep it on.Lazy Reading Habits: How relying on chapters and verses has caused believers to miss the original flow and intent of the authors. The Dirt-Suit Heresy: Breaking down the specific false teachers John was fighting who denied that Jesus came in a real human body. The Fabricated Love Trap: Why a theology with zero discipline, correction, or pain is a completely false representation of God's heart.Guarding the Teaching Circle: Why pastors, supervisors, and CEOs have an obligation to keep unvetted, fruit-free novices out of leadership roles.Scriptures Studied:2 John 1:10 – If anyone comes to you and does not bring this doctrine, do not receive him into your house nor greet him.1 Corinthians 5:5 – Deliver such a one to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that his spirit may be saved.Proverbs 12:1 – Whoever loves instruction loves knowledge, but he who hates correction is stupid.#WordTime #CoachShelby #1John #BiblicalContext #TestingTheSpirits #SoundDoctrine #FalseTeachers #ChurchLeadership #ToughLoveChapters0:00 - Intro: Tying 1st, 2nd, and 3rd John Together0:21 - The Lazy Reader Trap: Missing the Original Intent of the Scrolls0:52 - The Flesh-Suit Heresy: Exposing the Ancient Deception1:15 - Once Saved, Always Saved? Episode 166 | "Judge Not" — What Does It Actually Mean? | Matthew 7:1-6 | The Greatest Sermon Ever Preached"Judge not" might be the two most misunderstood words in the entire Bible. In this episode, William Kane, Ben Crane, and Webb Simpson unpack Jesus' command in Matthew 7:1-6 — what it doesn't mean, what it does mean, and what it looks like to live it out in our marriages, friendships, and everyday relationships. The guys also recap the Truist Championship and preview the PGA Championship at Aronimink. We are continuing our study in the Sermon on the Mount. Jesus Christ, the promised Messiah, preached this message to show His followers what it looks like to be a disciple in His invisible kingdom as we live everyday lives in the real world. In today's passage, Jesus turns from personal piety to our horizontal relationships with one another — and there's hardly a bigger turn off than a judgmental Christian.Topics covered:- What "Judge not" doesn't mean — and how most people misunderstand it- Hypocritical judgmentalism vs. right judgment (John 7:24)- The log and the speck — self-examination before correcting others- Why disciples of Jesus shouldn't be judgmental (Matthew 7:2)- The Bema Seat — how the Lord will one day judge us- How to bring correction gently in marriage, parenting, and friendship- Discernment — when to stop casting pearls before pigs (Matthew 7:6)- The Golden Rule as the recipe for our horizontal relationships (Matthew 7:12)- PGA Championship preview — Aronimink Golf ClubFollow Bible Caddie:Instagram: @biblecaddieTikTok: @biblecaddieX: @biblecaddieListen and subscribe: https://www.biblecaddie.com/podcastInterested in starting a Bible Caddie Featured Group? groups@biblecaddie.comQuestions or inquiries: info@biblecaddie.comShop Bible Caddie: https://www.biblecaddie.com

In this challenging and convicting message from the "Kingdom Now" series on the Sermon on the Mount, Pastor Karl dives into Matthew 7:1-20, unpacking Jesus' teachings on judgment, discernment, prayer, and true discipleship.Pastor Karl begins by clarifying "Judge not, lest you be judged" — Jesus forbids condemning others, but calls for discernment and inspection of fruit. He uses the humorous image of the speck in your brother's eye versus the plank in your own, urging self-reflection first to avoid hypocrisy before helping others. He warns against casting pearls before swine or giving what is holy to dogs — don't waste the precious truths of God's kingdom on those who will only trample and reject them; be discerning and move on to receptive hearts.Jesus invites persistent, progressive prayer: Ask, seek, knock — ongoing commands with promises of receiving, finding, and entering God's presence. Pastor Karl emphasizes that continual prayer keeps us dependent on our good Father, who gives how much more generously than earthly parents, aligning our desires with His good will. The Golden Rule gets elevated: not just "don't do bad," but actively do to others what you want done to you — a revolutionary call to love.Jesus contrasts the narrow gate and road that leads to life (costly self-denial and obedience, yet light under His yoke) with the broad road of religious activity without heart change, which leads to destruction — few find the narrow way. Finally, beware false prophets disguised as sheep but inwardly wolves; recognize them (and ourselves) by their fruit. Good trees bear good fruit (love, joy, peace, etc.); bad trees produce bad — and a life of no fruit is equally revealing. Judge for identification, not condemnation.Pastor Karl closes with piercing questions: What sin do you quickly spot in others but slowly repent of yourself? What fruit would people taste from your life? He warns that self-deception is dangerous — the most perilous place is being close to Jesus without truly following Him.A grace-filled call to repentance, heart transformation, and walking the narrow road of fruitful, authentic discipleship.Watch all our sermons on our youtube channel "Flipside Christian Church"Join us in person 8:00am, 9:30am & 11:00am every Sunday morning.37193 Ave 12 #3h, Madera, CA 93636For more visit us at flipside.churchFor more podcasts visit flipsidepodcasts.transistor.fm

This message is Part 5 of our Walking in Command series at Mosaic Church. Pastor Anthony Daley teaches on the importance of accountability in the Christian walk — why you can't do faith alone and why every believer needs a battle buddy. Drawing from John 14:15, Matthew 7:1–5, 2 Samuel 12, Psalm 51, and 1 Corinthians 5, this sermon explores what Jesus meant by “judge not,” how to live out God's commands together, and how to walk in grace and truth within community.
Ah, the phrase "Judge Not," used in many more ways than Jesus ever meant it to be used! So what did Jesus mean? Have a listen!

When the Savior teaches us to Judge Not, what does that really mean. Living in this world means that we will have to make judgements in order to make choices. Today we will talk about it.
In this episode, we discuss the difference between judgement and correction. Judgement is not for improvement, it's a conclusion, whereas correction is for the purpose of improvement. Accepting correction can be hard and oftentimes we interpret correction as judgement. Scriptures:Luke 6:37Romans 14:10-13Rev. 20:11-13Hebrews 12:11II Tim. 3:16Prov. 3:12Prov. 15:31-32It is important to realize that when we are not open to correction and instruction, this can hinder our Christian walk. If we do not acknowledge that we make mistakes and sometimes need to change our ways, this can have negative consequences. The Bible informs us that God is our only judge. If we can be given correction and be corrected, we will be able to confidently stand before God in the judgement without condemnation.Contact us at:lifeinspiredproductions@gmail.comFind us on Apple iTunes, Spotify, PandoraFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/EnrichedPInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/enriched_perspectives/YouTube: @Enriched_Perspectives

Pastor Andrew taught part two of our I'm Hanging On His Words Series on Sunday. In this week's message, Judge Not cautions us not to sit in God's judgment seat. He teaches from the passage in Matthew 7 about judging others when Jesus talks about removing the log from our own eyes before trying to remove the speck in others' eyes.

In the latest installment of the Living Victoriously Series, "Judge Not," Pastor James Crawford delivers a powerful sermon based on Matthew 7. He explores the themes of judgment, the metaphor of casting stones, and the notion of living with planks in our eyes, urging us to reflect on our own imperfections before judging others. Pastor Crawford delves into the complex idea of loving someone into hell, the importance of being called to account, and our desperate need for Christ. This thought-provoking sermon challenges listeners to reevaluate their approach to judgment and emphasizes the significance of compassion and accountability in our spiritual journey. The Breakdown:00:00 - Introduction01:52 - Missionary Testimony18:10 - Salvation Isn't The End21:32 - Cast Seeds Not Stones25:11 - Scripture: Matthew 728:20 - Loved Into Hell34:31 - Grace For Me, Not For Thee39:23 - Stones & Planks44:51 - Called To Account47:05 - Dogs & Swine51:34 - Ask, Seek, Knock54:12 - Draw Near58:20 - Take The Hard Path1:00:57 - Testimony1:04:58 - It Comes At A Cost1:07:29 - Closing PrayerMake sure you subscribe to this channel and follow us on all our platforms to always stay up to date with our latest content! And you can always head over to our website for any general information!https://godspeak.comPrayer/NeedsIf you have any needs, or have a willingness to be used to meet various need in the body, please email info@godspeak.com. To the cartels, sex-slavery is a business; every person watching pornography is a possible customer, and every child is a potential product. Common myths, like “it's only ‘at-risk' kids the traffickers target, “it doesn't happen to good families”, “I would know if my kid was being groomed” are just that: myths. Becky Rassmussen, Executive Director of CallToFreedom.Org joins us to dispel the myths and to arm everyone in the Podcast family to help stop what God sees are an egregious sin on behalf of the traffickers, as well as those who enable them. We also take a look at how government “schools”, the Mockingbird Media, Academia, Big Pharma and The Left all have something to gain by sexualizing children. Guest Jon Uhler counseled pedophiles in prison in attempts to teach them how to stop harming kids. He may well be the most knowledgeable person on their behaviors and how they see your kids and our world. Jon's educated view matches my view through observation and pattern recognition: the United States is allowing the sexual grooming of a nation of kids. What does God's Word say? Matthew 18:66 “If anyone causes one of these little ones—those who believe in me—to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.John 3:1818 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God's one and only Son.Episode 1,224 Links:Call To Freedom's New BookHow could the Judge NOT have Understood the significance of this look?Jon's SurvivorSupport pageAlan's Soaps https://alanssoaps.com/TODD Use coupon code ‘TODD' to save an additional 10% off the bundle price.
