While exploring II Samuel, I came across a king in a familiar line up that I hadn't heard of before. With decades of Sunday School and Bible Study, it was odd to me that I did not remember him. In this episode, I explore the forgotten king and the lessons I learned from his story.

Why did the First King of Israel Hide? - On the day he was to be announced as king, he went and hid. I haven't encountered anything that explains it, and I must confess, I am curious. I haven't found the answer, but I am looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the question.

The story about the tinder swindler made me wonder why it is many women fall victims to such scams. It led me to thinking about loneliness an how it differs from being alone. .
