SERMON IN A SENTENCE : God breaks the silence by foretelling miraculous births.
We have confirmed that God is Always Good and now we continue to consider the last 4 situations where it seems the opposite is the case . The ever burning fire, The Sexual Abuse of David's Wives, Fire from the Sky, and Did God Send Venomous Snakes to kill the Israelites? In the end God is faithful, for he cannot deny who he is.The pdf document is available at www.rediscoveringgod.ca#Ian Hartley#Warren Kay#Sascha Steenbergen#Rediscovering God
The readings for this homily: https://bible.usccb.org/bible/readings/012926.cfmWhen Jesus speaks of a lamp placed on a stand, He reveals how God works in history. What God makes known is meant to give light, and what He reveals is never accidental or incomplete.Father Mark Baron, MIC, shows how the Gospel and the First Reading proclaim a single, unified plan of salvation. The promise given to King David of a kingdom without end was never about political survival or earthly dominance. Even when Israel's kingdoms fell, God's promise did not fail. It was fulfilled in a way far greater than David could have imagined. At the Annunciation, the eternal kingdom promised to David takes flesh in Christ. God does not establish a political empire; He establishes a spiritual kingdom meant to rule hearts. From Abraham to Moses, from David to Christ, God's covenants expand His family until all are invited in. Israel is not discarded or replaced, but fulfilled. The Church is the continuation and completion of God's plan — the universal family gathered under Christ the King.Father Mark also clarifies modern misunderstandings that divide salvation history or reduce God's kingdom to end-times speculation. Catholic teaching proclaims one continuous plan, guided by the Holy Spirit, entrusted to the Church, and ordered toward charity, justice, and conversion of heart.Christ already reigns — in the Eucharist, in the Sacraments, and in every heart willing to receive His grace.Watch the full homily on DivineMercyPlus.org, the no-cost, ad-free Catholic streaming platform with exclusive Catholic content. ★ Support this podcast ★

Is God Always Good or is There More? This question is motivated by so many situations in the Bible where God comes away looking very rigid and even vindictive. In this episode we lay a firm foundation on the life of Jesus that reveals that God is certainly good from Matthew's perspective. Then we begin to look at three of seven situations where scripture portray the opposite perspective. When looked at more closely we discover a very consistent picture of God and his goodness. Father Anthony with Tony, and Cristina gather to discuss the goings on, and people in the Parish. Today they chat about events they've recently participated in then move on to prayer. After prayer Father focuses on the readings from yesterday. He draws attention to the need to remain humble and seek God, recognizing that we cannot exhaust God, the more we know Him the more He becomes a mystery. St. Stanislaus Kostka Parish

Today on the Daily Nugget, Mike begins with Romans 10:21 and moves into Romans 11:1–10. Paul shows that while many in Israel have been hardened, God has always kept a remnant—a chosen people brought to faith by His grace. Paul himself and the other apostles are living proof of this. At the same time, Paul makes it clear that God closes the eyes and ears of the non-elect, a sobering reminder of His sovereignty in salvation.
This morning Rev. Schuller takes us through the 19th Chapter of Acts and highlights the life of Charlie Kirk. In Acts we see that the persecutions of Christians have always been a reality. When we look at the life of Charlie, we realize that that will not stop until Jesus returns in all His glory. Our goal is to live a life of courage and faith and face our fears with the power of the Holy Spirit of God.

In tonight’s podcast, we discuss how the Lord always works things out even when it seems chaotic, uncertain, and at times, hopeless. Tonight, we dig deep into a very common scripture that we have all heard in our years of serving God, but it’s not until the trials come that it makes the most sense. […]

No matter what the circumstances seem like, we can always trust God to fulfill his promises.Reading Plan: Old Testament - 2 Chronicles 22-23Psalms - Psalm 89:20-28Gospels - Luke 8:40-48New Testament - Philippians 1:1-14
In this episode, I sit down with Brenna Blain for one of the most honest conversations I've had on the podcast. We talk about what it really looks like to follow Jesus while still battling mental illness, trauma, and temptation. Brenna shares her powerful story from growing up in church as a pastor's kid, abuse, same-sex attraction, and deep seasons of depression. We talk about what it means to suffer well, how motherhood can actually disciple us, and why God's goodness doesn't always look like the comfort we expected - yet we hold fast to the promise that God heals always, even if it's not on this side of eternity. If you've ever asked, “Can I still love Jesus and feel this broken?” this episode is for you.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
