Father Anthony with Tony, and Cristina gather to discuss the goings on, and people in the Parish. Today they chat about events they've recently participated in then move on to prayer. After prayer Father focuses on the readings from yesterday. He draws attention to the need to remain humble and seek God, recognizing that we cannot exhaust God, the more we know Him the more He becomes a mystery. St. Stanislaus Kostka Parish
11 After three months we put out to sea in a ship that had wintered in the island—it was an Alexandrian ship with the figurehead of the twin gods Castor and Pollux. 12 We put in at Syracuse and stayed there three days. 13 From there we set sail and arrived at Rhegium. The next day the south wind came up, and on the following day we reached Puteoli. 14 There we found some brothers and sisters who invited us to spend a week with them. And so we came to Rome. 15 The brothers and sisters there had heard that we were coming, and they traveled as far as the Forum of Appius and the Three Taverns to meet us. At the sight of these people Paul thanked God and was encouraged. 16 When we got to Rome, Paul was allowed to live by himself, with a soldier to guard him. 17 Three days later he called together the local Jewish leaders. When they had assembled, Paul said to them: “My brothers, although I have done nothing against our people or against the customs of our ancestors, I was arrested in Jerusalem and handed over to the Romans. 18 They examined me and wanted to release me, because I was not guilty of any crime deserving death. 19 The Jews objected, so I was compelled to make an appeal to Caesar. I certainly did not intend to bring any charge against my own people. 20 For this reason I have asked to see you and talk with you. It is because of the hope of Israel that I am bound with this chain.” 21 They replied, “We have not received any letters from Judea concerning you, and none of our people who have come from there has reported or said anything bad about you. 22 But we want to hear what your views are, for we know that people everywhere are talking against this sect.”

Today on the Daily Nugget, Mike begins with Romans 10:21 and moves into Romans 11:1–10. Paul shows that while many in Israel have been hardened, God has always kept a remnant—a chosen people brought to faith by His grace. Paul himself and the other apostles are living proof of this. At the same time, Paul makes it clear that God closes the eyes and ears of the non-elect, a sobering reminder of His sovereignty in salvation.
This morning Rev. Schuller takes us through the 19th Chapter of Acts and highlights the life of Charlie Kirk. In Acts we see that the persecutions of Christians have always been a reality. When we look at the life of Charlie, we realize that that will not stop until Jesus returns in all His glory. Our goal is to live a life of courage and faith and face our fears with the power of the Holy Spirit of God.
This morning we explore how God always gives us another chance to do Teshuva and improve our ways. God does so for Yona and for the people of Ninveh. Hey there BCU Fam! We are BACK from a longer-than-intended holiday (more about that another time), but suffice it to say God ALWAYS knows what He is doing! In tonight’s podcast, we discuss how the Lord always works things out even when it seems chaotic, uncertain, and at times, hopeless. Tonight, we dig deep into a very common scripture that we have all heard in our years of serving God, but it’s not until the trials come that it makes the most sense. […]
Pastor White looks to Habakkuk chapter 1 to talk about how God always has a plan.

At once comical and cosmic, there is something in the way man complains, even when Heaven is feeding him. In the wilderness, where logic would say all things perish, God instead sends bread—not baked by human hands, but falling like dew upon the dust, as if the stars themselves were shedding crumbs. The Israelites, ever the connoisseurs of captivity, grumbled for garlic and leeks, yet God gave them manna—mystery made meal. It is the grand jest of divine mercy: that when man is at his most miserable, God is at His most generous. --- Help Spread the Good News --- Father Brian's homilies are shared freely thanks to generous listeners like you. God loves you and wants you to know Him. That's a really big deal. --- Jesus was the greatest teacher the world has ever known, and His teachings continue to shape lives still today. Not far from His ministry base of Capernaum, a hill on the northwestern shore of the Sea of Galilee is traditionally known as the site from which Jesus delivered His Sermon on the Mount. In this beautiful place, Jesus sat down and shared a paradigm-shifting message that became the most famous sermon in history – the greatest sermon ever preached! Today's Promise: 1 Kings 8:56 The God you serve is a promise-keeping God. In this scripture, Solomon gives a blessing to the people of God. He reviews their history and reminds them that God's promises never fail. What God said He would do; He did. The God you serve is the God who makes good on His word. You and I can stand alongside King Solomon and agree that not one of God's promises has failed. Faith believes that what God has said, He will do.

In this episode, I sit down with Brenna Blain for one of the most honest conversations I've had on the podcast. We talk about what it really looks like to follow Jesus while still battling mental illness, trauma, and temptation. Brenna shares her powerful story from growing up in church as a pastor's kid, abuse, same-sex attraction, and deep seasons of depression. We talk about what it means to suffer well, how motherhood can actually disciple us, and why God's goodness doesn't always look like the comfort we expected - yet we hold fast to the promise that God heals always, even if it's not on this side of eternity. If you've ever asked, “Can I still love Jesus and feel this broken?” this episode is for you.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
