What is God's plan for my life? In this message, Pastor John Lindell unpacks 2 Samuel 7 and the story of David's desire to build a temple for God. We learn that sometimes God says “no” because He has a greater “yes” in store. Our prayer is that you would trust God's perfect plan, respond with humility, and experience the joy that comes from living in His presence.

Our Lord always provides everything we need to accomplish his purposes in our lives. The Jews who rebuilt the Temple are yet another example of his gracious provision.
Hey there BCU Fam! We are BACK from a longer-than-intended holiday (more about that another time), but suffice it to say God ALWAYS knows what He is doing! In today's podcast, I am sharing a "lecture" where I talk about one of my FAVORITE Bible stories coming from Mark 2! After you've finished listening, please head down the comments section here, or over to the comments section at www.BlenCouragesU.com so we can continue our conversation! Thanks everyone and God bless you! Yours in faithful service, Blen
In tonight’s podcast, we discuss how the Lord always works things out even when it seems chaotic, uncertain, and at times, hopeless. Tonight, we dig deep into a very common scripture that we have all heard in our years of serving God, but it’s not until the trials come that it makes the most sense. […]
Pastor White looks to Habakkuk chapter 1 to talk about how God always has a plan.

At once comical and cosmic, there is something in the way man complains, even when Heaven is feeding him. In the wilderness, where logic would say all things perish, God instead sends bread—not baked by human hands, but falling like dew upon the dust, as if the stars themselves were shedding crumbs. The Israelites, ever the connoisseurs of captivity, grumbled for garlic and leeks, yet God gave them manna—mystery made meal. It is the grand jest of divine mercy: that when man is at his most miserable, God is at His most generous. --- Help Spread the Good News --- Father Brian's homilies are shared freely thanks to generous listeners like you. God loves you and wants you to know Him. That's a really big deal. --- Jesus was the greatest teacher the world has ever known, and His teachings continue to shape lives still today. Not far from His ministry base of Capernaum, a hill on the northwestern shore of the Sea of Galilee is traditionally known as the site from which Jesus delivered His Sermon on the Mount. In this beautiful place, Jesus sat down and shared a paradigm-shifting message that became the most famous sermon in history – the greatest sermon ever preached! God Always Wins: Saving Grace Through Divine Liberation In Today's Take Your Power Back Show, host Kim Yeater confronts a critical question: MEDICAL DECEPTION: Should You Place Your Faith in God or Government? Our title, God Always Wins: Saving Grace Through Divine Liberation, draws from Rev. Dr. Robert A. Schuller's powerful book and Scott Schara's fight for his daughter Grace, a 19-year-old with Down syndrome killed by hospital protocols during COVID-19. We're exposing a disturbing truth: medical murder and government deception are real. Paul Harvey's prophetic speech, “If I Were the Devil, a warning that echoes today's crisis. outlines how the devil would erode society through deception, division, and eroded faith, echoed in Schuller's book.) The loss of Scott Schara's lawsuit against Ascension St. Elizabeth Hospital (June 2025) is a setback for families seeking justice for medical murder during COVID-19. Listen in and hear how you can take your power back in the midst of great adversity and disappointment. 07/06/2025 Summer Road Trip PlaylistPsalm 23 God Leads The WayBig Idea: God's presence provides peace for our journey. We are redeemed for God's glory. Peace comes from staying close to the Shepherd. The Lord is our Shepherd and King who is our :1. Provider (23:1-3) also see John 10:11, 27-28 v1 - God ALWAYS gives us EXACTLY what we need, EXACTLY when we we need it. v2 - God gives us rest and peace (Sabbath). v3 - God gives us direction and purpose.2. Protector (23: 4-5) v4 - God gives us protection form harm and evil, and comforts us. v5 - God satisfies us through all of our circumstances. “God's strength in your valley IS His presence in your circumstances”.3. Promise Keeper (23: 6) also see John 10:10b v6 - God gives us abundant life. God gives us His forgiveness.Four things to consider:1. Where do you need to stop striving and start resting in God?2. Are you carrying the weight of trying to fix everything yourself?3. Are you stuck in a valley, wondering where God is?4. Are all of your “check engine lights” on, and you're still trying to push through?
Today's Promise: 1 Kings 8:56 The God you serve is a promise-keeping God. In this scripture, Solomon gives a blessing to the people of God. He reviews their history and reminds them that God's promises never fail. What God said He would do; He did. The God you serve is the God who makes good on His word. You and I can stand alongside King Solomon and agree that not one of God's promises has failed. Faith believes that what God has said, He will do.

Send me a Text Message! One of the questions that comes up frequently in regards to prayer is simply, "Does prayer matter?" I often receive some version of that question in relationship to unanswered prayer. Every death, every war, every cancer, every season of depression, every divorce stands as a monument to unanswered prayer. And so we hear the question in our hearts, "Does prayer matter?" I believe with all my heart that prayer is at the heart of our relationship with God and asking is at the heart of our prayers. But the bottom line is that few things motivate me to pray like answers to prayer. So here's the question for this episode, "Are there any prayers that God always answers?"

In this episode, I sit down with Brenna Blain for one of the most honest conversations I've had on the podcast. We talk about what it really looks like to follow Jesus while still battling mental illness, trauma, and temptation. Brenna shares her powerful story from growing up in church as a pastor's kid, abuse, same-sex attraction, and deep seasons of depression. We talk about what it means to suffer well, how motherhood can actually disciple us, and why God's goodness doesn't always look like the comfort we expected - yet we hold fast to the promise that God heals always, even if it's not on this side of eternity. If you've ever asked, “Can I still love Jesus and feel this broken?” this episode is for you.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

To some it might seem a risky thing to teach your children to start praying impossible prayers—prayers that could only be answered by an All-powerful God. After all, what if God chooses to not respond? What if your kids are left dangling in their young faith because God fails to show up? Of course, those that have walked the triumphant heavenly path of faith lined with the golden bricks of divine faithfulness know that God ALWAYS responds to prayers of genuine faith, especially those that are God-sized and wholly impossible. ------------» Take these studies deeper and be discipled in person by Eric, Leslie, Nathan, and the team at Ellerslie in one of our upcoming discipleship programs – learn more at: https://ellerslie.com/be-discipled/» Receive our free “Five Keys to Walking Through Difficulty” PDF by going to: https://ellerslie.com/subscribe/» For more information about Daily Thunder and the ministry of Ellerslie Mission Society, please visit: https://ellerslie.com/daily» If you have been blessed by Ellerslie, consider partnering with the ministry by donating at: https://ellerslie.com/donate/» Discover more resources, books, and sermons from Eric Ludy by going to: https://ellerslie.com/about-eric-ludy/
It's inevitable that sometimes, despite our best intentions, we can't always stick to the promises that we've made to others. Your focus on your own needs will always prioritize your interests over those of others. But have you ever thought about who always sticks to their promises? In today's message, Pastor Ricky shares some insights on the covenants that God has made. He's got a unique plan just for you, and you can bet that He'll definitely keep the promises that He's made along the way.
