“16:30 be at the specified location. 18:30 ingest capsules, after effect protect metals await signal mask.”On 20 August 1966, a teenager was flying a kite on Vintém Hill, a rural location outside of Niterói, Brazil. He wasn't looking for anything unusual that Saturday afternoon, but partway up the hill, he discovered what looked like two mannequins. He'd rush home and tell his mother, who immediately alerted police.Hours later, authorities arrived at the scene and documented what they found: two men laying side by side on the grass, arms and legs outstretched. There was no sign of violence or a struggle of any kind. But the other objects found at the scene - including a pair of strange, homemade lead masks worn by the two men - have led to a litany of unanswered questions in the decades since...Research & writing by Amelia WhiteHosting, production, and writing by Micheal WhelanLearn more about this podcast at http://unresolved.meIf you would like to support this podcast, consider heading to https://www.patreon.com/unresolvedpod to become a Patron or ProducerBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/unresolved--3266604/support.

Resolved endings, Pamela Hansford Johnson, Vincenzo Latronico – welcome to episode 137 of Tea or Books?! In the first half of the episode, we take a suggestion from Lindsey – do we prefer resolved or unresolved endings? In the second half,
Conflict is an unavoidable part of leadership. Whether managing a team, navigating workplace dynamics, or handling high-stakes negotiations, leaders constantly face moments of tension. How they respond in these situations determines not only their effectiveness but also the success of their teams and organizations. Without the right approach, unresolved conflicts can damage morale, decrease productivity, and create a toxic work environment. Conflict resolution for leaders isn't about eliminating disagreements—it's about transforming tension into productive conversations and stronger relationships. Too often, leaders view conflict as a problem to avoid rather than an opportunity to foster collaboration and innovation. Natalia Trodhal, a Conflict Converter™ and Leadership Impact Strategist, has built her career on helping leaders reframe conflict and use it as a tool for growth. With a background in law enforcement and social services, Trodhal understands high-pressure environments where conflicts escalate quickly. Early in her career, she relied on traditional de-escalation tactics, only to realize that real transformation starts with self-regulation. Leaders who struggle with conflict often focus on controlling others rather than managing their own reactions. Trodhal's approach flips that mindset, emphasizing the importance of self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and a structured framework for handling workplace tension. At the core of her conflict resolution strategy is a three-step framework: Evaluate, De-escalate, and Navigate. Leaders who master these steps gain the ability to assess their own emotional responses, take control of their reactions, and guide conversations toward positive outcomes. Instead of reacting impulsively, they develop the skills to pause, assess the situation, and approach conflicts with clarity and composure. One of the biggest challenges in conflict resolution for leaders is navigating difficult conversations without triggering defensiveness. A poorly handled confrontation can escalate tensions, leading to disengagement or even turnover. Trodhal emphasizes that leaders must shift their approach from blame and control to curiosity and collaboration. Asking better questions, acknowledging different perspectives, and setting clear expectations can turn what feels like a standoff into a breakthrough moment for teams. Unresolved conflict is one of the most damaging forces in any organization. It creates resentment, stifles innovation, and erodes trust. Leaders who avoid addressing problems directly often find themselves dealing with bigger issues down the road. By approaching conflict with confidence and a proven strategy, they foster a culture where team members feel heard, respected, and motivated to contribute. The future of leadership will be defined by those who can navigate workplace challenges with confidence, emotional intelligence, and a willingness to engage in tough conversations. As workplaces evolve, remote teams grow, and AI shifts how businesses operate, human connection and strong leadership skills will remain irreplaceable. The ability to turn workplace tension into collaboration will set great leaders apart from the rest. Watch the full episode on YouTube. "Finding her body has burnt an indelible image in my mind. It is something a father should never have to suffer."On the morning of 22 October 2018, family and friends of missing 24-year-old Toyah Cordingley would scour the area around Wangetti Beach, a quiet and secluded stretch of sand not too far away from Toyah's hometown of Cairns. There - partially buried in sand dunes - Toyah's body would be found, having endured "visible, violent injuries" before her death. In the years since, police officials have remained tight-lipped about the specific details of their sprawling investigation. But it is believed that they have formulated a good case around the only named suspect, who fled the country just hours after Toyah's death...This is a re-release of an older episode. Welcome to the Triple P Life Podcast! In this episode, Dr. Jay LaGuardia welcomes Dr. Bradley Nelson, the author of the bestselling books "The Emotion Code" and "The Body Code," to discuss the often-overlooked emotional component of overall well-being. Dr. Nelson explains how unresolved emotions can become trapped in the body, leading to physical ailments, emotional distress, and hindering the healing process. They explore the concept of trapped emotions, the "emotional loop," and how the Emotion Code can help individuals identify and release this emotional baggage to improve their physical, emotional, and spiritual health. Episode Takeaways: Emotional well-being is a crucial element of overall health, alongside physical and spiritual aspects. You cannot be truly well if you neglect your emotional state. Unresolved emotions can become "trapped" in the body as energy, potentially manifesting as physical pain, disease, or emotional issues like anxiety and depression. The "emotional loop" describes the normal processing of emotions, but sometimes this loop gets stuck open, leading to trapped emotions. The Emotion Code is a method developed by Dr. Nelson to identify and release these trapped emotional energies using muscle testing and intention. Releasing trapped emotions can lead to significant improvements in physical symptoms, emotional well-being, and even the ability to forgive and move on from past hurts. Dr. Nelson has found that a vast majority of physical pain and disease processes have an emotional component. The Body Code is a more comprehensive system that addresses six categories of imbalances affecting health: energies (including trapped emotions), pathogens, circuits and systems, misalignments, toxins, and nutrition and lifestyle. The subconscious mind acts like a powerful computer that can be accessed through muscle testing to identify underlying imbalances. Dr. Nelson is releasing a new book called "The Heart Code" focusing specifically on "heart walls," which are emotional energies trapped around the heart that can hinder connection and well-being. 00:00 - Introduction to Emotional Well-being 02:14 - Introducing Dr. Bradley Nelson 04:38 - The Computer, Prayer, and Chiropractic 07:12 - The Emotional Loop Explained 09:51 - Releasing Trapped Emotions with Magnets 12:15 - *Emotion Code*: A Deeper Dive 14:40 - Consciousness, Awareness, and Trauma 17:22 - Deleting Emotional Energy 19:45 - Emotional Baggage in Animals 21:58 - Emotional vs. Physical Issues 24:10 - Training Practitioners in the *Emotion Code* 26:35 - Limitations of Western Medicine 29:01 - The Body Code System 31:18 - Symptoms and Imbalances 33:33 - Common Conditions and Open Loops 35:50 - Vibrational Tone Scale and Emotions 38:14 - The Hot Air Balloon Analogy 40:37 - *Emotion Code* vs. *Body Code* 42:50 - The Heart Wall and the Heart Code 45:18 - The Six Imbalance Categories 47:30 - Wrap Up and Contact Information Find all things Triple P Life by visiting the website. Arguing isn't fun, but if it's going to happen, it should at least be productive. But what if it's never productive and you never get anything resolved? That's the question I tackle today.
In this episode, Dr. T and Truth Fairy have an in-depth conversation about current global and political concerns, particularly focusing on the drastic actions taken by Donald Trump in his recent return to power. Truth Fairy details how his executive orders have dismantled key institutions, targeted marginalized communities, and damaged international relations. They talk frankly about the trauma of living in this time and the role of psychedelics, exploring powerful examples of reclaiming the traditional powers of medicine for healing.Truth Fairy explores how Western psychedelic culture has often become self-focused, neglecting to address larger societal issues. Dr. T reflects on how ancient examples of dominance and control still shape the world, and they discuss the need to reclaim group wisdom, relational healing, and embodied awareness in psychedelic work. Part of that work must include a balance to both hemispheres of the brain—logic and intuition—to effectively deal with the challenges of the modern world. Truth Fairy shares a powerful case study of a client who had endured extreme childhood trauma and how psychedelics, when used with intentional intervention, helped him break free from dissociative loops. She and Dr. T discuss the overlooked trauma of men, the need for deeper empathy in therapy, and the responsibility of practitioners to guide clients with wisdom. This episode is a raw and powerful look into the current news, where Truth Fairy and Dr. T urge us to become critically aware of media narratives and integrate psychedelic healing within the social context. “It's not Trump. He's just a figurehead, a representation or a mirror [held] up to us of our own situation as a culture. You know, I mean, I can't help but wonder if Trump was stood down for some reason, would another leader just like him emerge? Because it's not actually him that is the sickness. It's the culture that has decided to elect a leader of that nature that's reflective of trauma, that's not resolved for so many people.” - Dr. T__Contact Punk Therapy:Patreon: Patreon.com/PunkTherapyWebsite: PunkTherapy.comEmail: info@punktherapy.com Contact Truth Fairy: Email: Truth@PunkTherapy.com

You know how sometimes life just piles up, one thing after another until you're running on fumes, feeling crispy (as one of my dear friends says), and reacting to every little thing? That's not just “having a tough week.” That's what I call compound stress syndrome, it is a term I coined to describe what I was seeing in my clients and the more I observe it, the more I think it's a universal experience in our modern industrial society. Unresolved stress accumulates and leaves you feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or reactive. The good news? Once you really understand stress and the effect it has, you can do something about it. Especially in your relationships. I've been teaching my private clients about this for years, but we haven't talked about it in-depth here on the podcast. So, today, we're diving in. I'll even share how changing your emotional state first can shift the stories you tell yourself about your partner so you have the tools to strengthen your bond even during stressful times. Listen in to learn more about: >> What compound stress syndrome is and why modern life makes it worse >> How your nervous system reacts to stress (fight, flight, freeze, or appease) and what that looks like in relationships >> How stress affects your partner, and why their reactions might not mean what you think they do >> Why stress doesn't just “go away” on its own, and what actually helps release it >> How one person shifting their relationship with stress can change the entire dynamic of a marriage RESOURCES MENTIONED IN THIS EPISODE: Episode 75: Sex, Stress, and Gratitude with Emily Nagoski Episode 14: The Anger Scale Episode 18: The Daily Check In and Why It Matters Episode 179: Navigating Stress Cycles The Questions for Couples Journal The Marriage Mindset Makeover
Elizabeth Short in life, The Black Dahlia in death. What do people really understand about the woman before she became the poster girl for true crime curiousities? Most know her as the Black Dahlia, but few know Elizabeth Short was a young woman whose life was marked by tragedy long before her brutal 1947 murder made headlines across America. In part one, we separate fact from fiction in the life of Elizabeth Short, who was born and raised in Medford, Massachusetts. Her tragic story has been sensationalized for decades, but few know about the real woman behind the gruesome headlines.Born in Hyde Park, Boston in 1924, Elizabeth was the middle daughter of five girls. Her early years took a devastating turn when her father, Cleo Short, lost everything in the 1929 Wall Street Crash and abandoned his family, staging his own suicide by leaving his car on a bridge. For twelve years, Elizabeth's mother Phoebe believed she was a widow, struggling alone to raise five daughters during the Great Depression. The family's world was upended again in 1942 when a letter arrived from the supposedly dead Cleo, revealing he was alive and living in California. Elizabeth, seeking connection with the father she thought dead, traveled west only to find disappointment. Their reunion lasted barely a month. Her life continued on a path of heartbreak when her boyfriend, decorated WWII pilot Major Matt Gordon, died in a plane crash just weeks before Japan's surrender in 1945.Despite media portrayal of Elizabeth as a "party girl," records reveal just one minor brush with the law—an underage drinking incident. The nickname "Black Dahlia" wasn't media sensationalism but originated during her time in Long Beach, inspired by her striking appearance: dark hair, pale skin, and signature red lipstick. The cruel irony of Elizabeth Short's story lies in how she's remembered only for her brutal end, while the resilient women in her family—her mother and sisters who lived well into their 90s—carried the burden of never knowing what happened to their beloved Elizabeth. By exploring her life before the headlines, we honor the real woman who existed beyond the infamous case that still captivates America's imagination. This is part one. In the next episode, I examine Elizabeth Short's final days and the enduring mystery of how this young woman met this fate and wSend a message to the showSupport the showNext live show, Thurs 3/13 at Off Cabot in Beverly, Mass. Healing and Healthy Relationships: The Biblical Path to Wholeness • Sunday Service Website: www.PastorTodd.org To support this important work: www.ToddCoconato.com/give One of the most powerful truths in Scripture is that healing is not just for the body—it is for the heart, mind, and soul. Many of the struggles we experience in relationships stem from unhealed wounds, whether from past hurts, trauma, sin, or unmet expectations. God desires for us to be whole, and when we walk in healing, our relationships reflect His love, peace, and purpose. Today, we will examine what the Bible says about healing and how a healed person interacts in a healthy relationship. We will also contrast this with relationships that are broken due to unhealed wounds. I. God's Desire for Our Healing Before we talk about relationships, we must first understand that healing is a priority in God's kingdom. He does not want His children to walk through life carrying pain and brokenness. 1. God is Our Healer Exodus 15:26 (NKJV) “and said, ‘If you diligently heed the voice of the Lord your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the Lord who heals you.'” 2. Healing the Brokenhearted Psalm 147:3 (NKJV) “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” II. The Danger of Unhealed Wounds in Relationships When we do not allow God to heal us, our relationships can become dysfunctional. Hurt people hurt people. Unresolved pain can manifest as bitterness, insecurity, control, or fear, leading to unhealthy interactions. 3. A Bitter Heart Defiles Others Hebrews 12:15 (NKJV) “looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by this many become defiled;” 4. Unforgiveness Blocks Healing Matthew 6:14-15 (NKJV) “For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.” 5. Brokenness in Relationships is Often a Result of Our Own Wounds James 4:1-2 (NKJV) “Where do wars and fights come from among you? Do they not come from your desires for pleasure that war in your members? You lust and do not have. You murder and covet and cannot obtain. You fight and war. Yet you do not have because you do not ask.” III. What a Healed Person Looks Like in a Relationship A person who has been healed by God is able to engage in relationships with love, peace, and wisdom. Let's look at the characteristics of a healed person. 6. A Healed Person Walks in Love 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 (NKJV) “Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.” 7. A Healed Person Brings Peace into Relationships Romans 12:18 (NKJV) “If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men.” 8. A Healed Person Listens and Responds with Wisdom Proverbs 15:1 (NKJV) “A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.” 9. A Healed Person is Secure in Christ Colossians 2:10 (NKJV) “and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.” 10. A Healed Person is Guided by the Holy Spirit Galatians 5:22-23 (NKJV) “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.” The Call to Healing: If you find yourself in broken relationships, ask yourself: Am I fully healed? Have I surrendered my wounds to Jesus? Many times, we want others to change, but God is first asking us to let Him transform our hearts. Healing is not just for us—it is for those around us. A healed person brings health into every relationship, while an unhealed person can unintentionally spread pain. Today, let's commit to allowing the Lord to heal our wounds, renew our minds, and make us whole so that our relationships can reflect His glory. If you recognize that you have unhealed wounds that are affecting your relationships, I invite you to lay them at the feet of Jesus today. Whether it's bitterness, unforgiveness, insecurity, or fear, God is here to heal you. Pray and ask Him to restore every broken place so that you can love others as He intended. May we all walk in healing and wholeness, so our relationships shine as a testimony of God's redeeming power. Amen. Songs: "Goodness of God" & "Amazing Grace" CCLI: 21943673
"... they don't say whether she's still alive or where she is or what her name is. In this episode of The Light Inside, I, Jeffrey Besecker, delve into the intricate relationship between our behaviors, emotional patterns, and the unresolved traumas that shape our lives. We explore the concept of pathology—not as a label of dysfunction, but as a way to better understand how our past experiences influence our present actions and emotional responses.Joining me is Dr. Fred Moss, a seasoned psychiatrist and holistic transformation coach with over 45 years of experience in mental health. Fred shares his insights on how the stigma surrounding mental health can lead to avoidant behaviors and emotional suppression. He emphasizes the importance of recognizing that we are not defined by our past habits; rather, we have the agency to make adaptive choices in the present.Throughout our conversation, we discuss the impact of subconscious biases and the introspection illusion, which can distort our self-perception and hinder our emotional well-being. Fred highlights the significance of mindfulness and self-awareness in breaking free from these patterns, allowing us to navigate our emotional landscapes with greater clarity and agency. We also touch on the role of human connection in healing, asserting that genuine relationships can facilitate profound transformations. By fostering a sense of belonging and understanding, we can overcome feelings of isolation and disconnection.Key Takeaways: Empower Your Now: You are not a prisoner of past habits; each moment is an opportunity for change. Connect to Heal: True healing flourishes within human connection and resonance. Mindfulness Matters: Practicing present-moment awareness helps break negative cycles. All Emotions Are Valid: Recognize emotions as integral guides to self-understanding. Discard Rigid Labels: Labeling behaviors restricts growth; embrace context and intent.Chapters:00:00 - Reintegrating Trauma: Patterns, Narratives, and Healing Pathways01:53 - Healing Trauma: Navigating Emotions and Transforming Behavior03:01 - Beyond Chemical Imbalance: A Holistic Approach to Mental Health04:37 - Breaking Free: Redefining Habits and Human Connection06:31 - Breaking Free: The Power of Choice in the Present15:33 - Emotional Awareness: Recognizing and Reframing Behavior Patterns17:01 - Breaking Free: The Power of Now Beyond Past Patterns25:40 - The Illusion of Presence: Are We Ever Truly Now?26:45 - Voluntary Access: Finding Freedom and Inner Peace27:49 - Mindfulness: Unlocking the Power of Now and the Past32:54 - Human Connection: Overcoming Distorted Perceptions and Assumptions45:43 - Unseen Influences: How Filters Shape Our Reality46:41 - Mindfulness: Navigating Deflection and Seizing the Moment47:37 - The Illusion of Certainty: Connection, Mental Health, and Confidence48:42 - Authenticity Unfiltered: Navigating Perception and Presence50:44 - Unlocking Authenticity: Truth, Bias, and the Stories We Tell54:06 - Diverse Perspectives: Crafting Narratives From Chaos55:08 - Connection Through Authentic Listening and PresenceJOIN US ON INSTAGRAM: @thelightinsidepodcastSUBSCRIBE: pod.link/thelightinsideCredits:Featured Guest:Dr. Fred MossExecutive Producer: Jeffrey BeseckerExecutive Program Director: Anna GetzMixing, Engineering, Production and Mastering: Aloft Media Studio

"OFFICER SHOT. WHITE CHEVY VAN. NO PLATE."In the early morning hours of 27 October 2006, Deputy Jeffrey Mitchell of the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office told dispatchers that he was pulling over a white Chevy van off of rural Highway 16. Seven minutes later, his radio "keyed," a common sign of distress. After failing to respond to calls on his radio and cell phone, dispatchers sent out other deputies to Mitchell's last known location with lights and sirens.Arriving just minutes later, officers found Deputy Mitchell laying on the ground near his vehicle, bleeding from a single gunshot wound to the head. As they'd soon learn, he'd been shot with his own weapon during a "significant struggle" with an unknown person...Research, writing, hosting, and production by Micheal WhelanLearn more about this podcast at http://unresolved.meIf you would like to support this podcast, consider heading to https://www.patreon.com/unresolvedpod to become a Patron or ProducerBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/unresolved--3266604/support.

"His personal details were never known to him, and he could only assume his origins based on a nameplate he had as a child."On 24 June 1955, a Czechoslovakian State Security Patrol detained an unknown man near the Slovak-Polish border. Carrying no identification, the man communicated almost entirely through hand gestures. During interrogation, authorities would discover that he was deaf and mute, although both claims were met with a fair amount of skepticism. A comprehensive, nationwide investigation failed to turn up any sign of his identity.Over the next twenty-six years, through many twists and turns, the man insisted that he was a Czechoslovakian citizen named Karel Novák.
