** Stereo Video ** Time: 15:01 Download So today is Christmas, and as is my tradition, I like to do a little something special. This year, I’ve been going through a bunch of the old family video tapes and came across a video of our trip to Walt Disney World in Christmas of 2000, and smack in the middle of the tape is a recording of the entire show of American Vybe. The best part is, I have the audio recording for this video (you can see me sitting on the floor right in front) So, it’s two days after Christmas, the parks are busy, and they’ve got a full house. The video actually starts off behind the singers, but my brother quickly realizes he won’t see anything from back there, so he moves around front. The audio is a combination of the two feeds (from the camera and from my mike) and is in stereo sound. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app
Today’s memory is a continuation from memory 20. We are returning today to the American Pavilion for two more sets of American Vybe for my friend Brian of the Mousin’ It Up Podcast. He wrote me a while ago asking if I had any streetmosphere audio. Unfortunately, I don’t have anything that I would consider streetmosphere, so instead we’re visiting the now extinct group, American Vybe. Today’s episode was requested before my hard drive broke. Today’s request came from Brian of the Mousin’ It Up Podcast. He wrote me asking if I had any streetmosphere audio. Unfortunately, I don’t have anything that consider streetsmosphere, so instead I’m going to do a show which I’m sure he would like anyway. Tonight we’re going to catch the American Vybe. This Episode features Christmas music audio from both the Magic Kingdom, and Epcot theme parks of Walt Disney World, all taken from performances by the many live musicians who perform in these parks, while I'd love to g go a round and get music from all the live performers in the park, at least the little bit I have here can give you some idea of some of the places to start listening for live holiday audio if you find yourself in the parks in the Holiday Season. There's audio of the Voices of Liberty, and the Spirit of America Fife and Drum Corp taken during Mousefest 2005. There's also a lot of audio from during the Mousefest Celebration this year (2006). There's music from both of the Main Street pianists, Mark and Jim, also from the Magic Kingdom we have audio from the Frontierland trio known as the Notorious Banjo Brothers and Bob (last heard on this pod cast as the Lone Strangers in the Halloween episode), additionally the group occasionally known as the Fantasyland Woodwind Society plays a few "Holiday" tune (two of which have the word "Holiday"in the title), though in this appearance here they are in their Fantasyland garb and appear as Cinderella's Royal Saxaphonists. We then head over to Epcot for a Holiday tune by a group you might not think of when it comes to Holiday music, the Cyber Groove, then we take a trip back in time to 1998 (Or perhaps 99?) when the American Adventure pavilion had just had a new addition to their line up, yep we have a few holiday songs by an early line -up of the group known as American Vybe, we then bookend the show with another set by the Voices of Liberty from 05, before deciding that arrangement of Holiday music on the shelf can use one more holiday/Mousefest tune tacked on at the end, I hope you enjoy it.
