Danit Peleg is credited with creating the world’s first fully 3D-printed fashion collection. She has appeared on Tyra Banks’ television show FABLife and has a popular TED talk which went viral and brought attention to her work merging technology and fashion design. She always wanted to become a fashion designer having started sewing at the age of ten and even ran a fashion school for young girls in her apartment in Tel Aviv. In my interview with her, she speaks about her time in the army as well as what it was like to prepare for her Ted talk with only a week’s notice. She’s working on many more projects which can be followed on her website at danitpeleg.com. You can listen to the full interview here. (Just a disclaimer: I woke up at 4:30 AM for this interview so I may sound a little more lethargic than usual. You’ll also hear some background chatter since Danit was in a coffee shop). Please leave a review on iTunes or on Google Play and tune in again next week.
