Foram mais de 2.300 focos de queimadas – é o mês de agosto mais incendiário desde o início das medições do Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais (Inpe), há quase três décadas. São incêndios que que já deixam 48 municípios de São Paulo em alerta máximo, mas que alcançam também outros estados. Resultado de uma combinação entre tempo muito seco e ondas de calor. Mas que levantam suspeitas de ação coordenada criminosa - já são pelo menos 4 pessoas presas em flagrante e já há inquéritos da Polícia Civil e da Polícia Federal para investigá-las.
