Kathleen Barnes launched CarrieBradshawLied.com in 2010 as a way to stay connected with her girlfriends whom she often dressed and styled in college. After curating her degree and internships to work at a magazine, she landed her first job at Southern Living. And a month into her new dream career, half of her floor lost their jobs when a sister magazine folded. This is where she quickly realized life after her degree wasn't as effortlessly fabulous and sprinkled with sparkle as Carrie Bradshaw may have led young female journalists to believe, and so it all began. Kathleen strives to share attainable luxury in fashion, home, travel, relationships, the kitchen and everyday life. Raised in Mississippi, Kathleen and her husband, Christian, recently relocated from California to Georgia after Christian finished his Facial Plastics and Reconstructive Surgery medical training. They welcomed their first child, Hudson, a few months after their move from San Francisco. Kathleen has been featured on The Today Show, MSN, Oprah.com, The Cut, The Zoe Report, Who What Wear, Town & Country, Real Simple, Southern Living and US Weekly. She also recently launched a limited-edition clothing collection with Amazon The Drop that sold out in two hours. Kathleen blends her Southern roots with laid-back West Coast style and shares helpful, relatable and realistic fashion and lifestyle tips and tricks on CarrieBradshawLied.com and on Instagram at @kathleen_barnes.
