Podketeers - A Disney-inspired podcast about art, music, food, tech, and more!
In this episode we chat with our pal Keith Gluck (The Disney Project) about how his love for writing led him to writing directly for the Walt Disney Family Museum.
For the last few weeks, Modern Mouse Radio has been making the transition over to being under the larger brand of Network 1901. The eventual goal is to have everyone who listens to the show be a part of Network 1901 and that the original MMR feed of podcasts will originally go away. So periodically we will be rebroadcasting some of our favorite episodes of Modern Mouse so that those episodes will never be lost. This episode was originally recorded in January of 2015. Josh talked with Keith Gluck of www.TheDisneyProject.com about Walt's original plan for the EPCOT project as well as if the city was livable or buildable. Plus they discuss the ideas of Walt's city that made it into the regular world Also be sure to check out Josh on Behind the Magic podcast at www.BTMPodcast.com where they discuss the alligator attack on Walt Disney World property.

Use the hashtag #MMR100 to keep the celebration alive. Josh is joined by Keith Gluck and James Carter to talk about Disney's most controversial film, Song of the South. They analyze the film and the components that make this film unacceptable, even at the time of it's release. We talk what could possibly better the film and compare it to other films with racism or slavery. The film currently sits locked away inside the Disney vault and hasn't had an official release since 1986 but will we eventually see it again or is it a lost cause for good reason? Join the conversation on our blog, Facebook, Twitter, or any other platforms which we always give out at the end of the show.See the full show notes at www.ModernMouseRadio.com
Josh brings on Disney Project and Walt Disney Family Museum writer and podcaster Keith Gluck to discuss Walt's city of tomorrow. The original plan for Epcot was much different than what we have currently at Walt Disney World. The guys go in depth on what the city would look like and what it would be like to live there before discussing some of the ideas that could be adapted in other parts of the world from Epcot.
