On this week's Mental Health Monday, Mick Coyle was joined by Anna Griffith & Megan Peet from Malit in the Community, a C.I.C working to create social change through drama by exploring taboo topics such as mental health, self image, sexual consent, & social media. As they prepare an ambitious creative project aimed at getting men to speak more openly about their mental health, they joined Mick for a discussion of all the services they offer, and how this has affected them personally. In the future, Malit will be working with the company ‘Mpower’ on ‘The Returner Project’. The project is to support women who have been out of work for over 18 months due to carer or parental responsibilities to return to work including training, advice/guidance and support. Malit in the Community are also offering confidence building workshops as part of the project and are so proud to be helping change lives with Mpower. Full details on their Facebook page & website.
