[Video below] Wilson County commissioners moved forward Dec. 13 with two primary recommendations from the county's Coronavirus Local Fiscal Recovery Fund (CLFRF) Committee. County commissioners established the committee in April 2021, following the passage of the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, which established the Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Fund to help local governments respond to the COVID 19 pandemic's negative impacts on housing, jobs, government revenue, and the economy. Wilson County's CLFRF Committee's first recommendation is to build a new county emergency operations management center.
