From heists to hustles, we jump right into the wild news of Gilbert Arenas allegedly running a full-blown casino out of his home. Pro tip, Gilbert — if you're trying to stay low-key, maybe don't put your name on the tables. Next up: former NBA player Marcus Morris gets hit with legal trouble of his own, reportedly owing over $200,000 to a casino. The crew breaks it all down before taking a hard left turn into a totally different arena — family dynamics, moms vs. dads, and the zodiac signs that drive us all insane. Then it's time for a rapid-fire round of Goosies or No Goosies, where the squad just isn't buying the hype over a Miami Hurricanes recruit benching way more than most NFL players. Impressive? Sure. Goosebumps? Not quite.

AP Washington correspondent Sagar Meghani reports on Britain's push for more American aid to Gaza.
More than a hundred aid organizations warned Wednesday that “mass starvation” is spreading in Gaza, as Israel's genocidal ethnic cleansing of Palestinians reaches an unspeakable turning point. As the crisis of humanity deepens, another Gaza Freedom Flotilla has set sail in the hopes of breaking Israel's blockade and bringing life-saving supplies to the besieged Gaza Strip. Calling from the Handala ship while en route to Gaza, American labor organizer Chris Smalls, co-founder and former president of the Amazon Labor Union, speaks with TRNN editor-in-chief Maximillian Alvarez about the threats and sabotage attempts the Freedom Flotilla has already faced on its journey—and why that won't deter the crew from their humanitarian mission.Additional resources:Chris Smalls X account and InstagramGaza Freedom Flotilla linktree Ann Wright, Common Dreams, “Despite 2 sabotage attempts, the Gaza Flotilla Ship Handala sails onward”Marium Ali, Al Jazeera, “Freedom Flotillas: A history of attempts to break Israel's siege of Gaza”Help us continue producing radically independent news and in-depth analysis by following us and becoming a monthly sustainer.Follow us on:Bluesky: @therealnews.comFacebook: The Real News NetworkTwitter: @TheRealNewsYouTube: @therealnewsInstagram: @therealnewsnetworkBecome a member and join the Supporters Club for The Real News Podcast today!Credits:Studio Production: Maximillian AlvarezPost-Production: David Hebden

The Democratic Alliance says lying to parliament is a serious criminal offense and anyone found wanting should face the full might of the law. This as party deputy chief whip, Baxolile Nodada held a media briefing a short while ago outside the Cape Town police station ahead of laying criminal charges against Police Minister, Senzo Mchunu. Mchunu is alleged to have lied to parliament about knowing Brown Mogotsi. Mogotsi has been implicated in alleged political interference in police operations by KwaZulu-Natal police commissioner Lieutenant-General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi. Mkhwanazi has also accused Mchunu and other senior officials of colluding with a criminal syndicate linked to drug cartels and politically connected figures. The DA's Nodada says if President Cyril Ramaphosa will not act on Minister Mchunu, they will. Sakina Kamwendo spoke to SABC reporter, Fanele Mhlongo

In the case United States v. Combs, 24-cr-542 (AS), Sean Combs' legal team submitted a letter to Judge Arun Subramanian outlining key evidentiary concerns ahead of upcoming testimony and formally requesting that certain previously admitted evidence be stricken from the record. The defense reiterated its objections to testimony that it contends is inadmissible under the Federal Rules of Evidence, particularly on grounds of hearsay, undue prejudice, and lack of probative value. This includes evidence that the court initially allowed over defense objections, which the Combs team argues unfairly damages their client's right to a fair trial by introducing speculative or inflammatory material not directly tied to the core charges.Additionally, the filing serves as a preemptive move to frame the admissibility debate for future witness testimony, suggesting that the defense anticipates more problematic evidence may surface as the trial progresses. By submitting this letter, Combs' attorneys are both preserving the record for potential appellate review and actively seeking to limit the scope of the prosecution's narrative strategy, which they claim leans heavily on prejudicial anecdotes rather than legally relevant proof. The defense is pushing the court to more rigorously enforce evidentiary standards to prevent what it views as a trial driven by character assassination rather than criminal facts.to contact me:bobbycapucci@protonmail.comsource: gov.uscourts.nysd.628425.352.0.pdfBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-moscow-murders-and-more--5852883/support.

"The Great Reset," Six Flags' new strategic plan, aims to reach 58 million in annual attendance and $3.8 billion in revenue by 2028. The 88-slide presentation boils down to one thing: a better product makes more money. The plan gives concrete examples of what industry professionals have known for decades—improving the guest experience means guests will want to come back and spend more, convert to annual passes, bring their friends, and grow market penetration. And Six Flags has laid out an excellent plan, complete with benchmarks, examples, and research. But - can the newly merged mega-chain deliver? It sounds simple, but executing doesn't always work out.
