Amazon went down a few days ago, and people lost their minds. What do we do?! It's like figuring out how you're going to eat because Door Dash was on vacation. How will people get their news, if there is an EMP event? I mentioned that we now have drones capable of delivering EMP to shut down systems. What would you do if your communications were interrupted for longer than a day? A week?

Host Jeff of Right On Radio dives into a wide-ranging episode examining recent geopolitical shifts — including the new peace plan for Israel and Gaza — through the lens of history, faith, and contemporary tech. He reviews parody clips and commentary, unpacks the idea of a “Great Reset” that's evolving from climate narratives into AI-driven technocracy, and traces alleged power centers from the City of London and Vatican City to Washington, D.C. The show covers: the 20-point peace plan and Trump's Jerusalem speech; plans to place Gaza under a temporary technocratic administration and the risks of AI governance; Israel's AI initiatives and the influence of tech magnates like Larry Ellison; and growing public surveillance via interconnected cameras, phones, cars, and cloud data. Jeff links these trends to historical institutions (Fabian Society, banking houses, BIS, IMF, Council on Foreign Relations, etc.) and symbols such as obelisks and other alleged Illuminati markers. Jeff frames the discussion from a biblical perspective, arguing how modern events may interact with end-times prophecy while warning listeners about the normalization of digital IDs, blockchain, and pre-crime surveillance. The episode includes comedic/parody elements — a JakeGTV satire about influencers and Israel — and a short audio clip resembling a young Ben Shapiro for a lighthearted close. Practical notes and calls to action appear throughout: a preview of Jeff's upcoming course, encouragement to engage in community and faith, and sponsor messages. If you're concerned about infrastructure resilience, EMP Shield is featured for EMP protection (visit EMPShield.com and use coupon code ROR to save $50). For immune support and pet products, the episode highlights Coriolus versicolor supplements and directs listeners to ROR.PetClub247.com. Expect a mix of political analysis, conspiratorial history, Christian commentary, tech skepticism, parody clips, and practical sponsor offers — all designed to inform listeners about what Jeff sees as the next phase of global control and how individuals and communities might respond. Was ist dran an seiner Kritik?

Send us a textNuclear theft, a smirking supervillain, and a train sequence that refuses to quit—our rewatch of John Woo's Broken Arrow is a love letter to the wildest corners of '90s action. We kick off Todd's birthday stream with a question we can't stop asking: why do some “bad” movies age into perfect Friday-night fun? From the opening boxing match that telegraphs John Travolta's heel turn to the copper mine countdown and that infamous dummy shot, we break down what's silly, what's sharp, and what still absolutely rocks. We talk craft first—Woo's kinetic framing, musical stings that brand the villain, and the set-piece logic that prioritizes momentum over realism. Travolta's Deakins is a performance to savor: cigarette choreo, off-kilter affectations, and one-liners delivered like souvenirs. Christian Slater's Riley Hale adds human scale—witty, bruised, and just competent enough to keep the chase honest. We dig into how Graham Yost (Speed) trades tight architecture for sprawling fun, why the $20 running gag works as a narrative thread, and how the movie sneaks in actual smart bits—like using an EMP to flip a helicopter from hunter to wreckage.Along the way, we spotlight Samantha Mathis's Ranger Terry, Delroy Lindo's steady presence, and the movie's unapologetic '90s DNA: practical explosions, miniature mayhem, and VHS-ready quips. Yes, the physics are friendly, the Pentagon is plot-convenient, and helicopters can't aim—but the joy is real. And that train finale? Still a banger. We finish with what we're watching now (Marvel Zombies and Chad Powers) and tease next week's spooky-season pick: Freddy vs. Jason. If you're nostalgic for maximalist action or just crave a good-bad gem that plays great with friends, queue this one up, then hit play on our breakdown. Summary: In this episode, Dr. Michael Easley welcomes Dr. E. Calvin Beisner, founder of the Cornwall Alliance, for a conversation on creation care, energy, and biblical stewardship. Together, they challenge the myths of “green energy,” pointing out the hidden costs and environmental damage often overlooked with wind and solar power. Dr. Beisner explains how chemicals and medications enter the water supply and highlights the inconsistency of environmental movements that ignore certain pollutants while amplifying others. He critiques the flawed “linear no threshold” principle in toxicology, showing how it fails both scientifically and logically. The discussion also focuses on practical stewardship—recycling, waste management, and the need for engineering innovation. Dr. Beisner urges young Christians to pursue STEM fields as a way to serve God and address real-world challenges. From energy grid reliability to the promise of small nuclear plants, and even the looming threat of EMP attacks, the conversation underscores the need for wise, forward-thinking solutions. Ultimately, Dr. Easley and Dr. Beisner remind listeners that stewardship is not driven by fear or ideology. Instead, it flows from Scripture: caring for creation with wisdom, truth, and hope in Christ. Takeaways Stewardship requires wisdom rooted in Scripture, not fear-driven environmental ideology. “Green energy” promises often mask hidden costs that harm both creation and human flourishing. Christians must think critically about environmental claims instead of adopting cultural talking points. Innovation and engineering offer God-honoring solutions to waste, energy, and sustainability challenges. Dependence on unreliable energy sources leaves society vulnerable to crises with serious national security risks. True hope for creation care is found not in policy or technology, but in Christ and faithful stewardship. LINKS MENTIONED: The Cornwall Alliance Climate and Energy: The Case For Realism by Dr. E. John Hunt presents to The Space Show are ready! Sunday, 10-5-25For the quick summary, we started our program with John Hunt as the guest talking about nuclear weapons development and space exploration technologies. The Space Show participants in the Zoom meeting explored various aspects of nuclear weapons history, including bomb designs, testing, and strategic implications, while also discussing the potential for nuclear technologies in space missions and propulsion systems. The conversation concluded with discussions about current and future space exploration initiatives, including reactor technologies and launch schedules, with participants expressing concerns about political and technical challenges. Several Space Show participants were with us in the meeting including Marshall Martin, Peter Forman, John Jossy, Dr. Ajay Kothari, Dr. Phil Swan, Dr. James Benford, & Tim WeaverOur more detailed summary follows. John Hunt discussed his presentation on the evolution of nuclear weapons, including its funding and technological aspects. Marshall shared his interest in manufacturing composites and nanocarbon tubes in space, predicting that medical applications and materials science would be the next big cash cows in space development and was looking to connect the dots to the early tech being discussed by John Hunt. We discussed the potential for producing semiconductors and nanotubes in space, with Marshall suggesting that zero-gravity environments could enable the production of longer nanotubes for stronger materials like nanotube rope, which could be used in space elevators.David Livingston introduced the Sunday Space Show program, mentioning upcoming guests and topics, including a discussion on nuclear weapon development and its impact on space with John Hunt. The conversation ended with introductions of various participants and a brief overview of the show's format.Early on John introduced us to Project Orion as he mentioned his history interest including the work of Freeman Dyson's son, George Dyson who wrote a book about his fathers work. John Jossy expressed interest in reading the book, and they discussed the now-defunct nuclear space website, which had provided valuable information.Hunt discussed the history and development of nuclear weapons, focusing on the physics behind atomic and nuclear fission, and the creation of the first atomic bombs, “Little Boy” and “Fat Man,” used in World War II. He explained the evolution of bomb designs, including the transition from solid to hollow core plutonium spheres for improved yield and the introduction of fusion components in the Teller-Ulam design, which significantly increased explosive power. John also highlighted the Soviet Union's alternative “layer cake” design, which used a central fission bomb surrounded by a lithium deuteride layer for fusion, and noted the cryogenic technology developed for these weapons, which later found applications in space exploration. Our guest explained the evolution of nuclear weapons, focusing on the development of thermonuclear bombs and their components. He described how lithium deuteride was used in fusion reactions, leading to the creation of tritium and increased yield through fission. The discussion covered various weapon designs, including the Mark 17, Mark 28, and the 25-megaton Mark 41 bomb. John also mentioned Ted Taylor's contributions to bomb design and his work on the Orion nuclear-powered spacecraft project, which was canceled due to the Test Ban Treaty. The discussion focused on historical nuclear weapons development, John Hunt explaining that Project Orion conducted conventional explosive tests but never pursued nuclear testing. David suggested visiting government nuclear museums across the US, including Las Vegas and New Mexico, which house exhibits and remnants of nuclear testing. The conversation then shifted to the evolution of nuclear weapons, noting that while the Soviet Tsar bomb was primarily a propaganda device, the US responded by developing smaller, multiple-warhead systems to counter potential ABM defenses, leading to a shift from large single-warhead bombs to more numerous but smaller thermonuclear devices, with both countries eventually deploying around 100,000 strategic warheads each by the mid-1980s.The discussion focused on nuclear weapons and missile defense systems. Hunt explained that Soviet ICBM deployments were initially vulnerable to Minuteman III counterforce capabilities, but Russian silo hardening and U.S. missile number limitations led to Russian achievement of assured destruction capability. The group then discussed a 1957 nuclear test where a manhole cover was launched at escape velocity speeds, with guest James noting this was a deliberate test and not accidental. The conversation concluded with a discussion of current missile defense systems, including the Golden Dome concept using hit-to-kill interceptors, and concerns about North Korea's development of MERV missiles.Next up was a discussion regarding the strategic implications of nuclear weapons, particularly focusing on the challenges of responding to a North Korean attack due to the complex geopolitical landscape involving Russia, China, Japan, and South Korea. They explored the potential electromagnetic pulse (EMP) effects of nuclear weapons on satellite systems like Starlink and the historical development of anti-ballistic missile systems, including exo-atmospheric and microwave-induced detonation technologies. James shared insights from his experience with Soviet microwave weapons research, noting that while these systems were studied extensively, they were never deployed. The conversation concluded with a question about the transition from using nuclear power in satellites to planning for its use on the surfaces of the moon and Mars.We also talked about the history and future of nuclear technology in space exploration, with James noting that nuclear rockets could enable substantial payloads for solar system exploration. They explored how nuclear technology developed from weapons to civilian power, with Hunt suggesting that without the military budget, space program development would have been slower. Ajay raised questions about Russia's Burevestnik nuclear-powered missile program, which James and Hunt explained was similar to a canceled US program but deemed impractical due to radioactive contamination risks.Ajay focused on nuclear reactor technologies, particularly molten salt reactors and uranium isotopes. Dr. Kothari explained that molten salt reactors using uranium-233 could be safer in the event of an accident as the molten salt would freeze and become non-fissile upon contact with the ground. Hunt noted that uranium-233's higher radioactivity makes it difficult to handle, while confirming it produces similar energy output to other isotopes. The conversation concluded with a discussion about the feasibility of gun-launched space missions, with several participants expressing skepticism about spin launch concepts due to drag issues at high speeds, while Phil suggested that robust propulsion technology could handle high G-forces.The feasibility of hypersonic velocities and space travel was brought up with Phil asserting that it's possible to achieve orbital velocity despite atmospheric drag, while others, including and James, disagreed, citing significant challenges. The conversation shifted to the potential of nuclear technologies for space travel, with Phil suggesting underground nuclear explosions to power rockets, though Jossy noted legal and operational limitations. James highlighted the need for high-thrust rockets for interplanetary travel. They mentioned a promising paper on a centrifugal liquid-fuel propulsion system with a high specific impulse, which could be a significant advancement for space travel. We had much to say about nuclear rockets, with Phil explaining that nuclear rockets face challenges with the Oberth effect due to their inability to provide short, high-thrust bursts compared to chemical rockets. Marshall raised concerns about the potential impact of nuclear rocket launches on space stations, but Phil suggested that the radiation environment in space would make astronauts less concerned about nuclear launches. Hunt provided insights into contemporary nuclear weapons, noting that most are thermonuclear and that Russia is attempting to become a near-parity power with the U.S. and China. The discussion concluded with John explaining the potential risks and political implications of Russia using tactical nuclear weapons, emphasizing the importance of avoiding an escalation to full-scale nuclear war. Before ending we discussed nuclear power options for space missions, particularly focusing on a 100-kilowatt fission reactor planned for the moon by 2030. Marshall and others debated whether government or commercial entities should develop these reactors, with Marshall suggesting a public-private partnership might be best. The conversation concluded with a discussion about Artemis II's February 5th launch date, with participants expressing skepticism about whether it would actually proceed as scheduled, given NASA's history of delays. This program is audio archived at www.thespaceshow.com and doctorspace.substack.com for this program date.
Cybersecurity isn't just about firewalls and passwords anymore. It's an all-out battle where hackers run businesses with customer support desks, insider threats can be disguised as your newest hire, and artificial intelligence is both the weapon and the shield. In this special episode of IT Visionaries, host Chris Brandt switches roles and sits in the hot seat while Lacey Peace, host of Experts of Experience, interviews him about the three biggest cyber threats IT leaders must prepare for in 2025. From the rise of ransomware-as-a-service to North Korean nationals infiltrating U.S. companies, and AI reshaping the entire security landscape, Chris reveals what's really happening behind the scenes of today's most dangerous attacks. With stories from his career building high-security facilities — including an EMP-shielded data center buried under a mountain — Chris shares the lessons that every business leader needs to hear about resilience, recovery, and why it's no longer a matter of “if” but “when.” Don't miss this candid and eye-opening conversation. Today, Grid Down Comms Up takes the microphone again for another great episode of the Prepping Academy. We do a short after-action report on the Eastern Tennessee Homestead Alliance festival, revisit a few items as we approach the one-year anniversary of the historic disaster caused by Hurricane Helene, and talk about radio and communications interference. We look at the common types of manmade interference and what you can do to ensure you aren't the cause, because making lots of people look for you isn't very gray man. We also discuss what you may want to consider adding to your plans if you experience intentional interference during an emergency. We also listened to an example of interference during my time in Eastern Tennessee with GSM and a much more entertaining example of some amateur operators trolling someone who is causing intentional interference to keep him talking until they locate him. I'll see you on the next episode. Support the showPlease give us 5 Stars! www.preppingacademy.com Daily deals for preppers, survivalists, off-gridders, homesteaders & everyday Americans. In this episode of Right on Radio, host Jeff breaks down a fast-moving, complex set of stories that connect global geopolitics, high-profile rallies, and a charged domestic response to the assassination of conservative commentator Charlie Kirk. Expect a mix of news clips, analysis, and spiritual framing as Jeff ties together developments from Brussels to London to Washington, D.C. The episode opens with a sponsor message from EMP Shield and a practical reminder about readiness. From there Jeff moves to the international stage: he plays and analyses a clip from European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen about “battle lines” being drawn, examines NATO and energy leverage amid tensions with Russia, and discusses remarks from Netanyahu and a strong Saudi response to Israeli strikes. Jeff also reviews the 250-member U.S. congressional delegation in Israel and commentary about U.S.–Israel ties. Turning to London, Jeff covers a mass protest headlined by Tommy Robinson and a notable speech by Elon Musk on migration, free speech, and government responsibility. He discusses how Musk's remarks reflect wider Western anxieties about immigration, crime, and national identity and considers how those themes are being amplified globally. On the U.S. domestic front Jeff plays and critiques clips from J.D. Vance and Stephen Miller on dismantling violent left-wing networks and carrying Charlie Kirk's mission forward. He reviews the Vice President's televised appeal to civic action — including urging listeners to call out those who celebrate political violence — and Attorney General Pam Bondi's statements about targeting hate speech and university responses. Jeff examines the legal, ethical, and social implications of doxxing, employer pressure, and government pushback against groups labeled as domestic threats. The show surveys mainstream punditry (including Jesse Watters and others) urging social and financial ostracism for those deemed celebratory of political violence, explores media conditioning and the narrative of “dark to false light,” and plays a Joe Rogan/Dave Smith clip about U.S.–Israel relations and public perception. Jeff flags reporting on trans activists, alleged “trans armies,” and broader narratives used to mobilize different constituencies. Jeff places many of these events in a spiritual frame — describing the conflict as a battle of spirits that manifests in political and social upheaval — and warns of accelerating instability: government crises in multiple countries, talk of retaliatory strikes, and the specter of broader conflict. He connects these themes to practical preparedness (EMP protection, health supplements) and personal faith. Guests and clips featured or discussed include Ursula von der Leyen, Elon Musk, J.D. Vance, Stephen Miller, Vice Presidential remarks, Attorney General Pam Bondi, Benjamin Netanyahu, Marco Rubio, Mohammed bin Salman, Joe Rogan/Dave Smith, and references to Tommy Robinson and Charlie Kirk. Key takeaways: the West is facing rapid geopolitical and cultural realignments, political leaders are publicly shifting toward more aggressive domestic and foreign stances, and ordinary citizens are being asked to choose sides — with spiritual, practical, and civic consequences. Jeff closes by urging listeners to stay informed, consider preparedness measures, engage civically and spiritually, and tune in for a planned Podbean live with John for further discussion. You've probably heard it before: that 90% of Americans would die within a year of an EMP attack. It's one of the most quoted numbers in all of preparedness. But that number didn't come from a study or model. It came from a single sentence in a 2005 Senate hearing. It wasn't a forecast—it was… The post EMP Myth: Where the 90% Death Claim Came From appeared first on Mind4Survival.
