TEMPO DE REFLETIR 01677 – 16 de fevereiro de 2026 I Reis 19:4 – [Elias], porém, se foi ao deserto, a caminho de um dia, e veio, e se assentou debaixo de um zimbro; e pediu para si a morte e disse: Basta; tome agora, ó Senhor, a minha alma, pois não sou melhor do que meus pais. O medo desestabilizou de tal modo o profeta Elias que ele caminhou um dia inteiro à procura de um lugar solitário. Não satisfeito com a distância que o separava da iracunda Jezabel, procurou valer-se de outra fuga: a morte. Só assim, pensava ele, poderia livrar-se das emoções que o incomodavam. Há uma grande variedade de emoções. A lista inclui: o medo, a surpresa, a cólera, o contentamento, a comicidade, a alegria, o pesar, a excitação sexual, etc. Há emoções prejudiciais e há emoções benéficas. Elias, naquele momento sombrio de sua vida, viveu um coquetel de emoções: pavor, medo, expectativa, pessimismo e desânimo. Quando o anjo lhe apareceu pela primeira vez, ele estava dormindo debaixo de um zimbro. Depois de comer e beber, deitou-se novamente e dormiu. No segundo contato, o anjo deu-lhe instruções para ir ao monte Horebe. Foram quarenta dias e quarenta noites de caminhada. Ao chegar ao monte, o profeta entrou numa caverna, e lá, ouviu uma solene pergunta: “Que fazes aqui, Elias?” (1Re 19:9). Se ele não tivesse atendido ao que o Senhor lhe disse, teria ficado circunscrito ao círculo das emoções negativas. À semelhança de Elias, somos por vezes alcançados por emoções fortes. Nossa primeira reação é a fuga, que consiste em deixar o palco do problema, ou desistir da luta. Em ambos os casos, há prejuízo à saúde. O cristão não está imune à influência de emoções negativas, mas deve lutar para que não se deixe envolver por pensamentos e atitudes que comprometam seu equilíbrio. A história de Mary é esclarecedora. Seus pais morreram num acidente de aviação, e os três irmãos de Mary fizeram um pacto em honra de seus pais, pelo qual se comprometeram a ser excelentes alunos na faculdade. Mary, porém, retirou-se para um lugar isolado e, após dois meses, foi hospitalizada com asma aguda. Durante o tratamento, ela revelou aos irmãos que se sentia dependente da aprovação e do estímulo dos pais. Nessa oportunidade, os irmãos relembraram o pacto que haviam feito, e Mary começou a reagir positivamente. A asma abrandou, e ela, quatro anos depois, terminou a faculdade como uma aluna exemplar. As emoções têm lugar de honra em nossa vida, mas não podem determinar nosso destino. Precisam estar sob controle. TEMPO DE REFLETIR 01676 – 15 de fevereiro de 2026 Efésios 4:25 – Cada um de vocês deve abandonar a mentira e falar a verdade ao seu próximo. Começavam nas lojas dos Estados Unidos os lançamentos de primavera. Quatro garotas alunas de um colégio chegaram atrasadas porque decidiram que, antes das aulas, passariam pelo shopping para ver as novidades. Por isso, perderam uma prova que tinha sido dada nos primeiros períodos da manhã. As meninas foram falar com a professora, pedindo que ela fosse gentil e lhes permitisse a realização da prova. Argumento: “Professora, o pneu furou. Não havia socorro por perto e não deu para chegar antes. Eu sei que a senhora entende. Podemos fazer a prova? Por favor, prô, a senhora é boazinha! Sem problemas?” A professora admitiu e disse: “Sentem-se cada uma num canto da sala. A prova de vocês vai ter apenas uma pergunta: Qual pneu furou: dianteiro ou traseiro, e de que lado?” Quantas vezes nos colocamos em encrencas porque não tivemos a coragem de ser honestos e de falar a verdade? Esse é um assunto ao qual devemos dedicar vigilância e cuidado porque a mentira tem sua esfera de atuação não apenas naquilo que falamos. Dessa forma, qualquer coisa que eu disser ou fizer com a intenção de enganar, é mentira. Sem perceber, podemos passar uma ideia ou dar uma impressão que não seja a verdadeira. Por que não podemos mentir uma ou outra vez para evitar uma situação embaraçosa, se não vamos prejudicar ninguém, e não há perigo de que a mentira seja descoberta? Quantos nomes usamos para justificar a falsidade? Mentira branca, meia verdade, mentira social, etc. Assim, há filhos que mentem para seus pais. Há esposos que mentem para as esposas e vice-versa. Há outros que mentem para os vizinhos e colegas de trabalho. E na vida pública existem aqueles que mentem diante das câmeras de televisão, sem gaguejar nem enrubescer. A mentira pode tomar sutilmente várias formas: fazer citações deturpadas, tirando palavras e frases do contexto; fazer generalizações exageradas de pessoas ou situações … Ellen White complementa: “A intenção de enganar é o que constitui falsidade. Por um relance de olhos, por um movimento da mão, uma expressão do rosto, pode-se dizer falsidades tão eficazmente como por palavras” (Patriarcas e Profetas, p. 309) Reflita sobre isso no dia de hoje e ore comigo agora: Pai, nossa oração hoje é a mesma do salmista: Que tudo aquilo que eu falar e pensar seja agradável a Ti, ó Senhor, minha rocha e redentor [Salmo 19:14]. Akzeptiere nie, niemals den Status quo. Bleib bis zum Schluss dran. Wir Menschen tendieren dazu, viel zu schnell zu akzeptieren: „Es ist halt so. Da können wir nichts ändern. Ich habe halt Pech gehabt." Was für ein Blödsinn. Nichts ist einfach so. Es hat immer etwas mit deiner Einstellung zu tun. Mit deinem Mindset. Wenn du dir angewöhnt hast, den Status quo niemals zu akzeptieren, kommst du in die Freiheit. Du wirst unabhängig, egal was andere sagen. Ein Beispiel: Du rufst im Restaurant an. „Tut uns leid, wir sind komplett ausgebucht." Die meisten sagen: „Ah, okay." Weißt du, was ich mache? Ich gehe trotzdem hin und meistens bekomme ich einen Platz. Streiche das Wort „geht nicht" aus deinem Vokabular. Es ist eines der gefährlichsten Worte überhaupt. Sobald du es akzeptierst, hörst du auf zu denken. Es gibt für alles Lösungen. Schreib es dir auf: Es gibt für alles immer Lösungen. Arbeite mit Lösungen, nicht mit Ausreden. Ich erlebe es ständig: Menschen akzeptieren alles, was man ihnen sagt. Du gehst zum Arzt, bekommst eine Diagnose und es wird sofort geglaubt. Es wird nicht hinterfragt. Dabei hat Wahrheit viele Gesichter. Es gibt mehrere Wege. Auch im Erfolg. Es gibt nicht „die" eine Lösung. Und hüte dich vor Menschen, die sagen: „Das ist ultimativ richtig." Das Leben ist Veränderung. Nichts ist in Stein gemeißelt. „Das haben wir schon immer so gemacht." Das höre ich oft in Unternehmen. Doch die Welt verändert sich jeden Tag, in einem rasanten Tempo. Wasser sucht sich immer den Weg des geringsten Widerstands. Mach es genauso. Sagt jemand Nein? Finde einen anderen Weg. Ist die Autobahn nach Rom gesperrt? Dann fahr über die Schweiz oder über Frankreich. Es gibt immer Lösungen. Sei ein lösungsorientierter Mensch. Dann erreichst du ein ganz anderes Level. Status quo? Niemals akzeptieren. Deine Gesundheit? Nimm kein „Da gibt es nichts mehr" als endgültige Wahrheit. Wenn du es glaubst, wird es deine Realität. Wenn du es nicht glaubst, sprechen andere plötzlich von einem Wunder. Dabei ist es kein Wunder, es ist Konsequenz. Zu wenig Geld auf dem Konto? Akzeptiere es nicht. Es ist Wahnsinn, immer das Gleiche zu tun und andere Ergebnisse zu erwarten. Wenn du mit denselben Menschen unterwegs bist, bekommst du dieselben Resultate. Frage dich: Mit welchen Menschen umgibst du dich täglich? Danke, dass du bis hierher gelesen hast. TEMPO DE REFLETIR 01675 – 14 de fevereiro de 2026 Mateus 4:17 (The Message) – O sermão profetizado por Isaías ganhou vida na Galileia no momento em que Jesus começou a pregar. Ele começou onde João parou: Mudem de vida. O reino de Deus está aqui. Algumas pessoas desejam que Deus apresente um mostruário de opções para os Seus seguidores. Selecionamos o que queremos e rejeitamos o resto. Mas Jesus declarou que havia chegado um reino, não um mostruário. Algumas pessoas querem que Deus siga a vontade da maioria. Um modelo democrático lhes serviria muito bem. Mas Jesus falou de um reino, não de democracia. Algumas pessoas querem que Deus governe baseado no consenso. Todos nós nos reunimos com Ele, discutimos as questões e decidimos o que fazer. Mas Jesus disse: “Não tentem mudar Deus. Mudem a sua vida. O reino de Deus está aqui.” De acordo com os Evangelhos, Jesus falou sobre “o reino” não menos do que 50 vezes. Em metade de Suas referências ao “reino” utilizou a expressão “reino do Céu” e no restante, “reino de Deus”. Parece impossível traçar qualquer diferença significativa entre as duas expressões; são praticamente a mesma. A questão que realmente importa é a frequência com que o assunto sobre “o reino” caiu-Lhe dos lábios. A maioria das pessoas hoje, inclusive os cristãos, não se importa com a ideia de reino. Após alguns séculos de democracia, acham essa ideia arcaica e até mesmo desagradável. Mesmo nas nações em que reis e rainhas ainda governam, não possuem poder real. São monarcas sem reino, meramente figurativos. Algumas das afirmações mais impressionantes de Jesus começam com a expressão: “O reino do Céu é como…” Com essa introdução, contou histórias maravilhosas, histórias que colocam a ordem social de ponta cabeça, histórias que terminam de maneira surpreendente. Trabalhadores que trabalham por apenas uma hora, mas recebem o salário de um dia inteiro. Uma grande festa para receber o filho errante. O mendigo que foi para o Céu em vez do homem rico. Isso não é democracia, muito menos um mostruário ou um governo baseado no consenso. Isso é algo além da realidade deste mundo. Esse é o reino de Deus, em que Ele, unicamente Ele, governa. Em vez de força, política, esquemas e tramoias, a graça impera aqui. A graça é um reino! TEMPO DE REFLETIR 01674 – 13 de fevereiro de 2026 Neemias 2:2 – Por que está triste o teu rosto, se não estás doente? Tem de ser tristeza do coração. Não é agradável conviver com alguém que está a maior parte do tempo com a testa franzida e a expressão carregada, denotando tristeza, preocupação ou mau humor. As pessoas percebem, é claro, que algo não vai bem e ficam se perguntando: “Será que é comigo? Fiz alguma coisa errada?” Em alguns casos é melhor perguntar à pessoa, para tirar a dúvida. Foi o que fez o rei Artaxerxes, ao observar o rosto de Neemias. Ele lhe perguntou: “Por que está triste o teu rosto, se não estás doente? Tem de ser tristeza do coração”. Bom observador, esse rei. Num relance, ele percebeu que Neemias não estava bem e que seu problema não era físico, mas emocional. Neemias ficou com medo, pois como copeiro real ele não podia se dar ao luxo de se apresentar diante do rei com a expressão facial abatida ou mal-humorada. “Um servo que mostrasse mau humor perante o rei poderia ser considerado um conspirador, ou um mau empregado. Uma fisionomia triste nunca era tolerada na presença do rei” (Champlin). Por um momento Neemias pensou que perderia a cabeça, pois cabeças de servos não tinham muito valor na corte real, naquele tempo. Por isso, apressou-se a responder: “Viva o rei para sempre!” Ele queria que o rei soubesse que por trás de seu semblante triste não havia nenhum plano para envenená-lo. “Como não me estaria triste o rosto se a cidade, onde estão os sepulcros de meus pais, está assolada e tem as portas consumidas pelo fogo?” (Ne 2:3) Poucos monarcas se incomodariam com os problemas pessoais de seus servidores, e menos ainda em solucioná-los. Mas Artaxerxes era um homem sensível e bondoso, e perguntou a Neemias: “Que me pedes agora?” (v. 4). Neemias então fez uma breve oração, pois temia a reação do rei à solicitação que iria fazer, o que implicaria uma mudança na política do império persa para com os judeus de Jerusalém. Ele pediu permissão para ir a Jerusalém, a fim de restaurar as muralhas da cidade. O rei concordou. Foi a tristeza do rosto de Neemias que deu início a todo esse processo. Mas certamente foi a interferência divina na disposição do rei, como resposta à oração de Neemias, que resultou no sucesso da missão do servo do rei, pois tristeza e mau humor geralmente não resolvem dificuldades.
